  1. Tanking with a Tanker is so different than tanking with a Brute. With Brutes - With the Villain ATs - It's assumed everyone can more or less hold their own. Brutes tank as a consequence of being the guy with all the armour and damage. But Tankers are designed specifically to hold aggro. It's so different for me, in CoH/CoV. I'm so used to just being a Brute, doing my thing and letting everyone else mop up.
  2. I tanked last night, first time, in a team. I remembered what I read here, "Shutup and take the alpha." Seemed to work pretty good. Tried to Taunt stragglers.

    SS/EA

I had an SS/Ea on live. He was my main. I loved Energy Cloak and the teleport resist for PvP. But EA has a HUGE Psi hole and, at later levels, it really sucks.
  4. Black Empire Old Man Weston Pit Shark Ocean Mariner Released!
  5. I don't really play Blueside. There is too much, the zones are too big. And, honestly, I feel more like an outsider in life, always have. My toons are Rogues, Villains and Vigilantes, at best. Although I lived many years on Azeroth, The Rogue Isles are home.
  6. It's down to just 2 million subscribers and is expected to drop again with the next expansion as it always does. Three quarters the population of Toronto, ON. The most populated city in Canada. That's two million people. Even if half those accounts are doubled, that's still 1.5 million people. That's a lot of people. At this rate it'll probably dip under 1 million by the next expansion when Blizzard has another player alienating whoopsie do. And there probably won't be one after that because Blizzard will probably end up EA'd to death by Activision given that it's been a PR laughing stock that's struggled to meet Activision's increasingly delusional expectations of having a Fortnite level endlessly monetizable blockbuster megahit in every genre. Even if the subscriptions dips below 500 000 people, that's still a lot of subscribers. Any time someone points out that "WoW is dying" I can't help but wonder what that person considers "low subscribers?" I live in a city of 130 000 people. That's a lot of people.

  8. ^THIS The most respectful answer I've heard that accommodates for fans of both games. Because, you can be a fan of WoW and CoH. That's allowed.
  9. I have several alts; the highest level character i have is level 40. For me, I loved 50 Content. I also missed Incarnates so I'm eager to get into that, too. BUT, I'm really enjoying the leveling process. The nostalgia factor. That music in Port Oakesand Cap and Sharkhead when you get around the Pit. I've dreamed of that music since the game shuttered. I'm loving the leveling experience, thus the alts. It's been said: diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks.
  10. I don't get any of that from Phil's posts. My best friend taught me: You have read texts/messages/posts in as bland a voice as possible. You cannot know where the person intended inflection. Italics and Bold just don't do justice. Neither do emojis.
