  1. I personally love pairing any Dom Primary that has a PBAoE Toggle (Ice, Fire, Elec) with Stone Assault. Not only are the Melee Attacks top notch and graphically powerful; Stone Assault gives you access to Power Boost (tm). PB then opens up the ability to melee with a high degree of safety as it boosts not only your controls and secondary effects (which is usually enough to keep ya upright) but also your Defensive %'s! So what I'll typically do is take "Unleash Potential" from the "Force of Will" Pool, boost it with PB and it layers on top of my other Defensive #'s to put me over the softcap to most positions.
  2. Back on Live I had become frustrated with my only 50 at the time. A Dark/Fire Brute. I didn't have a lot of money in game to pimp him out and Fire Armor was in a bad spot Redside. The mobs would really just tear his ass up and it wasn't a great deal of fun. So i rolled a Mind/Nrg Dom for some reason and just loved it. Ended up joining HTTT (Holdthem; Touchthem) VG and ended up rolling like 12 more doms. Plant ended up being my fav once I found out about it. Now, I have about 25 Doms and my fav, for some reason, is my Ice/Nrg/Ice.
  3. I went Dark/Savage and there's zero endurance issues. Savage is so end friendly is completely negates DA's endurance woes. Consider a re-roll?

  8. But why weren't Doms given the the beefed up Electrical Blast. The old variant is legit Garbage Tier.
  9. With the fact that Dominators DID NOT get the upgraded variant of Electrical Blast. Be me. Level an Electric Control/Electrical Assault/Mu in the AE to 50. Spend your last coin equipping it with perma-dom levels of IOs. Giggle to yourself as you take it on its first voyage thru an ITF. Realize you're a total choad when you discover Voltaic Sentinel needs to be recast and isn't a toggle. Cry moar when you notice you won't benefit from the new "shocked" mechanic. /e delete toon. Yeh, I'm an idiot... Devs, please think long and hard about giving Doms the upgraded Electrical Blast treatment. Sincerely, Thrill
  10. Hey! Them are fighting words! DM is superstrong!!! You just need to leverage Soul Drain and Shadow Maul to maximize the set. The heal can be as high as 20% of base health if slotted for such. Touch of Fear is much improved as well after the patch after last. Give it a go if you haven't already.
  11. Hi Fenders, I've never attempted a "BEAM" anything in all my days here in the City and thought it might be time. From some brief interaction while in-game, it was recommended to me that it's an effective set for the Defender AT due primarily to the strong -Regen debuff it provides. If I understand correctly, it's important to first utilize the disintegrate power and follow up with the other single target attacks to spread the effect? If this is the case, what are the key single-target powers to use? I've included my 1st attempt for your review. Please let me know how to improve the synergies/build. Thank.   14. No hyperbole on my part when I say that Stone Armor is superb for stalkers. I was able to soft cap to s/l/e/f/c. It's also got +HP, exotic status resists and near 530% regen. Really tough to bring down. Brimestone Armor Proc was an unexpected delight. Doesn't have the gaudy DDR that SR has or Nrg's endurance management tools... It is rather tanky. It's my personal fav currently.
  15. Just finished a marathon 14 hour session to 50 > Fully Io'd > Incarnated SM/Sa/Body Stalker... I've never dedicated so much time or effort in a single sitting before. Stone Melee is as advertised. Anyone that's played Stone Melee on other ATs is sure to enjoy this iteration I'd think. AS, of course, creates a massive spike in ST-DPS (which stone was already proficient in). Fabulous. Stone Armor was a revelation once kitted out. Superb durability and sustain on this Set. I wasn't sure I was going to like Geode but it's decent and has its uses. Brimstone's damage proc CAN crit for us. Really nice. Overall, I give it 8.7 on a scale of 10, Great work by our Dev team on this one.
