  1. Bless you and all the devs that put their efforts into maintaining this fantastic game. I lived with these bugs, but am so thrilled they are fixed now. The boys are not longer shooting at the ceiling all the time, KD is working in the pet again...oh, happy days. Thanks so much for all your efforts. ~N
  2. Agreed it's annoying. The beta patch notes says it fixed the issues so we're just waiting for the next push to live and hopefully it's all resolved.
  3. I haven't done it on HC servers yet (still levelling the dom), but I recall doing it back on live with my Gravity/Energy dominator and the answer was having a lot of purple inspirations, together with the DPS to have it not take all day. Energy was helpful there as I recall as it was putting out great single target DPS and as long as my defence was through the roof you could smack them around long enough to put them down. Once you have the full inventory for inspirations available, you can clear them out and fill up with even the lowest tier Luck and stack 3+ of them at a time to provide the defence you need not to get glibbed while you lay the smackdown. I seem to recall occasionally leaving a mission for a few levels on occasion as well. Once you're a few levels higher it's much easier to smack them around. ~N
  4. The HC Beta patch notes make specific reference to patching the control stacking bug as well as the pets and enhancements so seems they're well on top of things. Just have to suck it up until they push it live :). Happy days though. ~N
  5. Yikes. I was suspicious that other enhancements were also not working as all 5 of them (including the decoy) seem to be shooting at the ceiling a lot more than I recall them doing, and damage seems to be lower, but I only did testing to verify the KB->KD bug which I'd already posted about in another thread (referenced below). Just an added voice, and a personal thanks for the additional testing you've done with the enhancements on the Illusion set. ~N
  6. My secret hope is that the bug with the enchancement (specifically the KB->KD reported in another thread) being ignored in the phantasm is somehow covered by this fix as well. Not being able to stack control is definitely an issue...having your pet knocking things all over hell's half-acre has got me killed more though :). Definitely appreciate the work the devs put in here though. Notwithstanding the odd problem/bug, it has been a thrill being able to indulge my love for CoH/CoV. Awesome work. ~N
  7. Hi Zep, Definitely not. All the testing I've been doing is on missions with +2 level and counting as 2 heroes/villains. At level 47, this was mobs in the 48-50 range, including the usual spread of minions, lt., bosses, elite bosses, etc. I was suspicious that it had something to do with the fact I'd just slotted an Expedient Reinforcement set of level 50 in the pet, and thought maybe it was something buggy with respect to the set being 50 while I was 47 (even though this should be fine, and the set had nothing to do with the KB->KD enchancement from the Universal Damage set). But I've levelled since then and there is no change. Tested both the Universal Damage KB->KD, as well as the one from the Knockback set, and the behaviour is identical with respect to the pet. It is simply ignoring the KB->KD enchancement and is sending mobs all over the place (an amusing mission he managed to push an Illusionist so far down a hall that I had 3 more Illusionist bosses adding to the fight...was quite the experience :). And to reiterate, it definitely wasn't doing this prior to the last patch. Something has changed. I can confirm that the KB->KD enchancement is working as expected in Power Burst, it's just the pet, and in particular the Illusion Control Phantasm pet (and the decoy it creates). I don't know how pervasive KB is with other pet users, or how often the slot to remove it, although I'd expect a lot of people do given how averse groups are to having mobs flung all over the place. Was happy to hear someone else pipe up confirming they're experiencing the same problem as it's definitely a thing, at the very least for the Phantasm pet. Here's hoping it is something trivial and easy to rectify. Cheers, ~N
  8. By way of follow-up, I removed the Overwhelming Force KB->KD and put in a Sudden Acceleration as noted above. Phantasm still knocking things back like crazy, which it was not doing before when slotted with a KB->KD enhancement. Just additional information, but definitely more comfortable reporting this as a bug now for what that's worth. Again, it's only the pet seeming to ignore the enhancement, when slotted in Power Burst, it does KD as expected. Something seems up there though. Thanks again, ~N
  9. I slotted an "Overwhelming Force: Damage/Chance for Knockdown/Knockback to Knockdown" in my Controller's Phantasm, and it was working fine for the longest time (and is the only one slotted for reference, I'm aware it is "Unique"). After the patch today (2019/09/27) he's all of a sudden knocking stuff back all over the place so will report it as a possible bug here. Am exploring using a Sudden Acceleration KB->KD in the meantime as that seems to be working fine in my Power Blast - will update if replacing it fixes the issue with the pet's KB (unsure if it's the enhancement or the fact it is slotted in a pet that is the root of the potential problem). Thanks for any attention in any case. (edit: changed topic header to be more descriptive) Cheers ~N
