Hey - I'm back in by doing the following. Restore an Island Rum from Time Machine. Make a copy of it - you may need it! Delete the patched non working version and take a copy of your restored one and rename it as just Island Rum. When it opens and starts to patch, hit red X and wait 30 seconds or so (the time it takes to normally re-download). It then lets you back to the menu when you can launch in. Yes we're snookered when a patch is released server side but at least we're back in for now! Hth.

Have tried restoring Island Rum from an earlier time machine backup - it just re-patches itself to a non-functional version again of course...

Same thing here, was absolutely fine earlier this evening, did what you did - hanging now. Oh dear.

Was on the same team as LQT as the leader at lvl 43 (Defibrilator)- above report captures it all nicely I think (I doubt it matters but we were on Reunion server) Just to add my thanks to GM_Miss for single handedly solo-ing Hami for us. We valiantly held her drink for her 😉

What would I like to see? You guys recognised (by official powers) for the amazing job you’ve done bringing our game, and our community, back from the grave. It’d be good to avoid a server wipe, but aside from that anything new is good but what we have is amazing. Thank you!

Absolutely agree. My main is BS/Shield stalker and can do some pretty amazing stalker has some obvious utility advantages when it comes to ghosting teams through tedious to maps (I’m looking at you Citadel) that it’s a very useful addition to a team.

Anyone got a good council farm AE mission to share for me to play with my Titan/Bio scrapper please? Really useful thread this, thanks to all contributors!

Would any other mac user with a functioning install be kind enough to share a screenshot of their applications folder so I can see what theirs looks like for comparison in terms of their CoH folder and where they have COH.App files - am currently doing a rescan and it's looking very messy compared to what it was before. Thanks!

This may sound really simple - but when people say CoH is installed in Applications/CoH - do you mean you have a folder called CoH under applications and in that folder you have put the Island Rum.App and the CoH.App? OR that those two .App files are "loose" under Applications? My CoH install has never quite worked right - I've never managed to launch through Island Rum - it does that patching OK, green tick then nothing... so what I have to do is right click on the CoH.App - Show Contents, then open the Wineskin and goto advanced then Test Run - that launches the game and seems to run fine (crashes now and again). Screenshot shows how my files are un Applications.... surely it's not as simple as me needing to rename from City of Heroes to CoH is it? (prepares to hang head in shame). Any ideas what I'm missing with my install? Have installed HomeBrew and Wine (should we have Wine AND WineSkin installed?) All help gratefully received!
