  1. No, no, the DirectInput issue is just with Safe Mode - with all the other versions when I said "the issue I listed above" I was referring to my earlier post in the thread. Sorry for the confusion. It's the post at the top of Page 2, right up there ^^
  2. Safe Mode has now quit working on me too (a DirectInput issue, I'm told; the mouse doesn't work) so I no longer have any way of playing CoH at all. I have tried Safe Mode through that manifest - it has the DirectInput issue. I've tried 32-bit and 64-bit, they have the issue I explained in my previous post. I've tried 32-bit beta and 64-bit beta through the Beta manifest, and they have the same issue as explained in the previous post.
  3. I firmly support both larger tails and tails that are suitable for mechanical/robotic characters. Any bulkier character looks extremely off-balance with current sized tails except maybe ragged wolf. Even if some of the current smaller tails could just get beefed up to be comparable with other tails - I think I'm thinking of the demon tail particularly? I can't log in rn to check on name, but a couple are so thin as to be visually unappealing on even the smallest characters. And I would loooove to have a good tail for my (far too many) robotic/mech characters - currently I use the Organic Armor tail on some android-types but it doesn't look good on the more explicitly robotic characters.
  4. Yeah, I understood that - it's the animation that's concerning me. If I'm in a chaotic battle, I certainly don't want 50 animations of a single teammate covering the entire battlefield, making it impossible to visually target. I'd choose not to team with Duplicate MMs if I'd had experiences with that happening before - or if they got a reputation for it. It might work from the MM's POV (they're used to it, etc.) but it would definitely make other people not want to hang around them, which is already an issue that MM's have as it is given our rep for un-controlled aggro.
  5. I love this! I'd be very excited to play it. My only concern is that having all your pets, even the most low-level, able to create "pets" of their own will make for a wildly cluttered battlefield, plus server strain - if you have three simulacrums two duplicates and a perfect copy each doing sudden mob, plus 10 minor copies, that's, what, more than 50 total copies of you at once? The way you have it set up, the lower level pets get duplicating powers but the highest level pet is focused on your secondaries; it might be better to do it the other way around, so that low-level pets get secondaries and only your perfect copy and maybe a tier 3 duplicate can use duplicating powers. That reflects the way this powerset appears in fiction better, as well. Other than that concern, as I said, this sounds awesome!
  6. I'm only able to operate in Safe Mode. I'm on a Mac, running High Sierra (10.13.6), using Island Rum. I'm not quite sure how to describe my issue other than showing it - whenever I click play in Island Rum for either 64-bit or 32-bit, what's pictured in the screenshot pops up and doesn't go away (doesn't actually ever load) until I give up and quit Wine. Safe Mode works just fine with no issues. (Rough description of what's in the screenshot: a window of Wine that's just a black rectangle, another window of Wine that's half an inch wide and only the close/minimize/maximize buttons plus the letter "P", and the Loading banner.)
