  1. I’m pretty happy with things the way they are. If it has to become commercial then a low subscription model ($10 per month max), no premium content/multi tier system. No micro transactions. In return I’d like more content
  2. So I fixed the issue by doing a complete wipe and reinstall following these instructions: 1 Type "brew remove wine" in Terminal 2. Type "rm -R ~/.wine" in Terminal, and type it very carefully. 3. Delete any copies of "CoH.app" or "City of Heroes.app" in the Applications folder. Also delete any folders called CoH and any Island Rum Apps $. Download and run http://telstar.eekstudio.com/islandrum-mac.zip 5. Island Rum will ask you to install a Game Client. It will install Wine if you're using macOS > 10.11, or Wineskin if you're using other macOS. The Wine install will be in a "wine" folder inside /Applications/coh, and Wineskin will be an app called "CoH.app" in Applications. Tagging @chicklit
  3. I'm really sorry @Ernestobut I don't know how to "look at the log file and see if anything shows up there". I also don't know what I'd be looking for
  4. Likewise - I jumped through a 100 hoops to get it running when the 64 bit update dropped. Then I didn't play for a few days and now I can't get in. Island Rum is tell me this. Can you you help please@Manga?
  5. I just wanted to say thanks very much to @Mangafor all his ongoing hard work. I found this update technically challenging as it was beyond my comfort zone and level of technical comprehension but I did manage it eventually & yesterday it was running brilliantly in whizzy 64bit. I know people are moaning because this update wasn’t plug and play but I think we need to keep sight of the fact that @Manga is doing this out of the goodness of his heart and with no financial or moral obligation to do so. Without him, the vast majority of us Mac users wouldn’t be able to play this game at all. Thank you so much @Manga
  6. Click on the little round orange palm tree on the top left of island rum. Select Re-Scan. Wait about an hour for all the files to download. Reboot your machine. Go. Hunt. Kill Skuls.
  7. OK. I've got it working! Hallelujah. The missing instruction was " Click on the Palm tree and reload everything. by clicking RESCAN"

  9. Currently stuck on installing Homebrew (this is waaaaaaay beyond my competence). I'm in Terminal. It's now saying Run 'brew help' - How do I do that?
  10. Oh so it keeps debuffing? So can I just fire it off at the first Mob in an instance then just leave it running as a toggle?
