According to the wiki, on missions where you bring your teammates, they're supposed to rest and return to the fight a while after defeat. This hasn't been happening for me, and it's really hindering me. I'm playing a Scrapper (Staff/Dark) and Silver Mantis is kicking my ass every time I approach. I've gotten desperate enough to buy the temporary boosts from the P2W vendor, I'm stacking the shield pet with inspirations and every defensive I've got, and she still mops the floor with me. Definitely tuned for a fight with lots more help, so I'm hoping this is something that can be easily fixed. EDIT: With a lot of luck, I finally made it past Silver Mantis, but now I'm having a similar problem with the Council War Walker, so the allies not resting and returning is still an issue.

So that's how that works. I followed this (roughly) on my existing char and converted a few times until I got an enhancement called "Kinetic Combat" at 22. My actual words as I looked it up and saw what it went for: "Alright, this ought to be worth somethiiiayayAY!" Now I just need to sell some stuff to make enough money to sell this. That's like three mil! I'm almost tempted to keep it, but needs must.

Thanks for the advice. Only problem is that right now I can't even afford the basic workbench invention enhancements. I just hit 22, and made one level 25 accuracy enhancement, but now I can't afford to make another, even though I have the salvage. I'd been using the XP boost from the P2W vendor for a while, so that's probably part of it, but I've found even on characters that don't use that, the Inf gain tends not to be very high.

I'm afraid I didn't get all of that. The cost reduction I get, I've slotted all I can find or buy, but are there unique enhancements I didn't know about? Is there a newbie guide for these things? Every guide I've seen just talks about team things and late game builds rather than solo leveling.

Adjacent to this: I've got a TW/Invuln Brute, and I seem to have constant endurance problems. I'm at level 20. Any way to deal with that?

So I've recently found these servers and started checking it out. I'm mostly a soloer, don't think I ever got a character past 40 even during the game's original run, so I'm not too concerned about late-game builds, but I just started a Peacebringer character and I need to know something: Why is my first mission sending me against mobs of five enemies at once? I was already worried about taking extra damage from all attacks, so now I'm wondering if I've done something wrong. I checked with the Hero Corps Field Analyst, and I'm still on the basic settings.

So I'm on a mission in Neutropolis for Calvin Scott. It's the second one he gives, the objective being "Destroy Main T.E.S.T. facility." One of the places I'm supposed to put a bomb is inside a pillar, however, so I can't progress. Also, when I try to call him to auto-complete, he doesn't even offer that option. I can't complete, auto-complete or just abandon the mission, no matter what I try.
