In Atlas Park the Silent Sentinel badges and in Echo Atlas Park the Commuter/Rookie badge are missing, so cannot complete the accolades.

They've been flipped to each others' zones.  I assure you that you can get Atlas Tour Guide and Echo: Atlas Park on the current build.  I did it last night.

  2. Miss Liberty is a huge choke point that tends to have dozens of people standing around on top of her like some internet videos.  It can make interacting with her a chore.

Meanwhile, BAB is chilling in a dusty corner of Atlas Park barely being visited.  Rotting away in semi-retirement.

Suggestion:  Move BAB to the other side of the Atlas statue from Miss Liberty.  Literally opposite Matthew Habashy in front of City Hall.

This obviously will not be for Page 7, but IMO there needs to be some sort of TF/SF/Trial (non-Incarnate trial that is), tutorial for new players.  I've found over the years that new players often don't know what a Task Force, Strike Force, or Trial are.  They assume it to be something like radio/newspaper missions, just that it can take you out of the zone, and think that they can freely leave after a couple of missions.  I can't count the number of times that I've had people either just quit a TF/SF/trial in the middle, DC in the middle, or say, "Thanks guys, that was great!" after the second mission and then quit.  They didn't know that the team can't refill that slot without starting over.

The signature story arcs (Who will die? and Pandora's Box) run like task forces and can be changed to add tutorial text.

This is sort of the point. If you are in Atlas and only have badges from Atlas, where are you teleporting to? 🙂

The goal is for players to learns the basics of standard zone travel (via trams, ferries, and tunnels - both physical and magical) before gaining quick travel, so they know how to actually get to new zones to add to LRT.

Your supergroup base.  Being able to pop into the base allows for greater movement.

Please switch it back to 8/accolade.

  5. If you outlevel a contact (very possible if you do even 1 TF) your old contact may no longer be valid and no "new" contact will appear.  You have to go back to your last completed contact to be introduced to the next one.  It would be nice if Find Contact would just point you to the next step (and would result in some areas finally being used again since they aren't "suggested" by Find Contacts).

  6. I'm 90% sure my original forum name would have been Duuk or HavenDuuk.

My initial toon, long before her identity was stolen by that hack in Atlas Park, was Flamestryke and she was almost a 1:1 costume of Flambeaux.  (Flambeaux has an NPC-only costume piece).  She took my job!

  7. Frequently I see people requesting that glowie volume be able to be adjusted outside of the normal volume.  (ie: "I want the glowies super loud, but not my powers").  There is a (nearly) unused setting called "voiceover volume".  Why not rename it "hint volume" and make glowies use that setting?

  8. People are acting like there is going to be an in-game channel that announces when a name is available to steal claim.

There is literally no way to know which names will free up when, it just means if someone picks that exact name after the timer has run out then won't get the "Name in Use" error message.

While this will be nice and open up some names to (hopefully) become active members, it's not a Be All or even Catch All.

...but that in-game channel is a great idea and you should feel free to implement it.

This is not feasible without causing other problems, such as out-leveling an area after 1 or 2 missions. The pace is the pace for a reason, and even then double XP kind of encroaches on that.

To piggyback on an earlier suggestion (boosting XP rates in hazard/trial zones), if out-leveling them is a problem (and you're probably right, it will be) have the key trial zones use the monster/giant monster code that means it's not possible to out-level the zone.

i don’t think that was the goal or expectation for this change.

That's the million dollar question:  What was the goal/expectation for this change?

If it's to stop AFk farms, good on them.  I'm against afk farming.

Regular farmers will still farm content which is farmable.  Nothing will change, including power leveling lowbies.

If the goal was to just normalize rewards, then AE is still the best way to make inf in the game, the only loss is vet levels.

So the question is:  What is the goal so we can know if the effects are intended?
