  4. I was glad to finally go back to this story I started back in 2022 🙂 It took so much work to find the right final map that gave me the control I was looking for. If anything H.O.W. 2 and 3 have taught me that smaller is better AND that the right map is worth making minor changes to your story! I can only imagine what AE writers could achieve if our tools were even just slightly more forgiving. Cheers, and thanks for the feedback!
  5. I've heard from some of the Architect Mission authors that a request for more AE story slots requires a request to the devs. Is there a form for these requests or who can we message? I just finished my 3rd story was looking forward to starting another arc soon. Thanks for any info, LR

  7. @cranebump Upon replay of part 3, I decided to take your suggestion and doubled up the patrols in the one map you mentioned for its size (chosen for atmosphere and for the total objectives). I think you were right. There was a bit too much unused space. This will feel more like an invasion now 🙂 Thanks for the input!
  8. @cranebump I know my streaming hours aren't friendly to many schedules 🙂 I'm usually on around 2 - 2:30am EST every Monday morning for AE content, and stream at least 3 - 4 hours of AE content. We're digging the Mobius story and are looking forward to more. First two parts down. Cheers!

  10. It's been a long, labour of love writing, editing, play testing, adjusting, re-writing, re-editing and polishing, but the 3rd and final chapter of my AE story is done. Huge thanks to Darmian, Ankylosaur and Cranebump for all your tips and ideas in helping refine the finished product. And huge thanks to my twitch friend, Aurethious, for doing the final run through of the arc! I hope you all enjoy the story. As always I'm only too happy for tips on how to get the mechanics to work better, my main focus is simply telling a good story. Glad to be able to ring in the New Year with this project at long last finished 😄 Cheers, folks!
  11. After 146 Vet Levels on my Dark/Rad Scrapper it finally dawned on me that I have never once seen Ground Zero critical. At first I thought scrapper secondaries just don't crit, but I've seen pool powers critical--so why not secondary powers? Just reporting this in case this is a bug.

  13. I would like to see the older outdoor maps get reorganized to include front, middle and back locations. I'd also like to see a "Talk to Person" objective under advanced goals...so we could actually click on a character and get a full chat window (would be nice to not have to convey everything through rescue dialogue or clues). And lastly I wish the bug would get fixed where unaware hostages and their captors all trigger their unaware/noticed dialogue all at once when you enter a mission...and actually only spoke as you got near (that one's a bit irritating and really gives too much away :D).
  14. I'm looking for Feedback for my first two arcs, which are now completed. I really want to thank Darmian, Akylosaur, Cranebump and my friends in Twitch for playtesting Part 2. Part 2 was a struggle to make work, but with all their feedback I think it plays much better now. There were major changes to just about every mission. I really hope people enjoy these first two parts. I am now planning and writing the finale. I am definitely shooting for the moon in the final part--should make for proper drama if I pull it off.   15. Thanks so much for the feedback--to you, Darmian and Ankylosaur...the input has been invaluable for a first time architect. I've made numerous changes based on recommendations. I'm optimistic that everything should run more smoothly now. Part 3 is sadly a long way off...I don't like to rush things. But I sincerely hope everyone enjoys the run as it is now. The pattern of objectives repeating was intended to be deliberate with each mission getting just slightly more complicated than the previous for reasons pertaining to the story. There's no real subtle way to convey that...hopefully it wasn't too repetitive, but conquering a boss in each realm was necessary because of this particular Act. Part 3 will not be following this structure 🙂

  17. I managed to simply run the arc through Pillar of Fire and Ice instead.
  18. Using Null the Gull I switched to villain to start patron arc, but now Scirocco won't let me start the arc. He keeps saying, " You have too many burdens upon you already to take up my tasks as well. Return once you have lightened your load of missions." My mission list is completely empty; I don't even have return to contact stuff...fully empty list. I've tried: logging out; exiting and re-opening the game; selecting and completing a paper mission; starting and quitting an SF; switching alignments to hero and back again. No matter what I do I get the same error over and over.

  20. If any of your SGs are looking for a story to sink your teeth into, I recommend a team of 8 try my story: "Heart of Words". Part One is out right now. Going to be a 3 part story. Part 2 is going to take a few weeks to write and put together, but I'd be interesting in your feedback for part one. I've had part two on the back burner for too long, but am going to get back at it soon. Synopsis: Something is causing the psychically attuned in Paragon City to fall into comas, and only you and your team can track the source of the problem and stop it before the likes of Penelope Yin, Numina and others lose their minds forever. Some fun game history in this one stitched into the story. Enjoy!
  21. @Darmain, thanks for the advice...I'm already searching thumb drives and external drives looking for the file. I don't believe I've deleted though because I never look through those folders. I wish the stories in progress could be saved on the game server for safe keeping.
  22. I was working on the second part of an arc some time ago and went back to look at it today, but only my published Part One exists. Part 2 and its *.storyarc file are now gone. All of the creatures I created for Part 2 are still there, but the maps and written content have gone...hours of work. Do unpublished stories eventually expire? And is there anyway the devs can restore my lost part 2. The Arc was called Heart of Words. Part one is up, arc# 25906. I'm pretty sure the saved story arc file for part 2 was simply HOW2.storyarc. Hate to have to start from scratch re-editing those missions I'd done.
  23. @ZorkNemesis Thanks for that. That appears to have done the trick. So weird, because for the debuff toggles the regen component isn't target dependent; the regen is always there. I really wish that wasn't required to trigger the regen/rec from Numina. So for the heals procs to trigger you have to get in melee range, then pull back. And on my psi/time blaster whose temporal healing has no debuff component the proc piece works all the time. Not sure why the debuff is linked that way since a target isn't required to get the rec bonus or absorb shield from Frigid Protection. Oh well, thanks for helping us get to the bottom of this mystery.
  24. I'm using the Numina proc piece in my Dual Pistol/Ice blaster's Frigid Protection. And my SG friend who's having the same problem also plays a blaster. Maybe it's just blaster toggles that don't work with the proc.
  25. My SG just noticed that Numina's no longer procs a continuous +reg / +rec, and Miracle doesn't give +rec if placed in a toggle power, whether it's on or off. I tried unslotting Numina proc and placing in health and it worked, but the moment I unslotted and returned to my toggle power the reg/rec bonus went away after 2 minutes and nothing I did would bring it back. Turning the toggle power on/off does nothing. So the health procs are currently only usable in auto or click powers. Can we please fix this, I'm pretty sure placing those procs in toggle powers used to give us the bonus all the time.
