  1. Awesome. This sounds just like work for me. I am a data center facilities engineer with certs in Cisco, Microsoft, HVAC, Telecom, and a dozen other things with a EE (things have changed a lot in computers and communications when I started in 1976). My wife of 44 years has exactly the same qualifications so you can guess neither of us ever hear "hey honey, what did you do today?" lol. Dare I say she is working on City of Titans with her spare time for the last 5 or so years. Thankfully, at age 65 I am about 13 months from retirement. Thank you for doing all you do to keep the greatest game ever online.
  2. I agree. My first toon was a Broadsword Regen. It was fun. DESPITE what jealous people (especially when the new PvP came out), they are not unkillable. They were dependent on luck (defense). If burst damage hit them they were a faceplant. Sadly they underwent 7 issues of endless nerfs and became a flavor of the month for a short while because of other toon nerfs (which games were all too happy to pile on their players back in that era). Please give us back our old Regens, the current one is a micromanagers dream come true and I hate it.
  3. Regeneration was purposely broken. It is the only power nerfed without mercy for 7 straight issues. The final nail was removing the healing power and turning it into a click times power. Regens had no real resistance. Any burst damage could kill one in a shot, but they were envied and it seemed players demanded a sacrifice (especially Blasters) after PVP was introduced (nevermind an ice blaster or a radiation blaster could kill them even when Hamis were 50%). What regeneration has become is a power that must be micro managed. You spend more time worried about powers running out than not and need to really think and calculate before attacking. I had two 50 regens in the old game on liberty, I even "tanked" the hami. After the final nerf I put them "away" and went on to make 48 more 50s before the game ended - none power leveled, all had the accolades. Yeah, let's not get into God like Controllers then either or how they cut the damage power on Defenders to force them into team buff toons. Please fix Regen.
  4. As I recall, a human form Warshade was somewhat considered poor for both PVP and PVE. Usually it was just there but players would flip between squid (mostly for travel and blaster) and crab for tanking and melee. I have seen many human Peacebringers. They tend to only go crab if the situation was dire and squid for travel and ranged blaster. Still, I would love to hear from someone who has made a successful human Warshade and try their build.
  5. I agree. No matter what tweeks, accolades, fine tuning, anything I did it just kept the blue bar going down down down until you had to pop inspirations and even that the whole thing just kept going down. I had friends remark about it and at first they thought I had built it wrong or something was off until I shared the build. I think whomever did the adjustment might not have done the calculations right or might have been the guy who did the final nerf (after 7 straight issues of nerfing) on the Regen Scrapper lol.
  6. I can understand how stacking would result in some undesired manipulation in the game. However the solution you provided makes me very happy and I will look forward to it. Thank you for the time you spent in reply to me.
  7. Tanks are not obsolete. If any class might be considered such it would be Defender. Those poor guys are horrible at dps and are meant for support. That is all fine until late game where 'Trollers seem to provide both support and control. There was a time, until I4, that a Defender could dps as well as a blaster, but I5 or I6 they reduced it to 80 or 60% which means enough to annoy them to death lol.

    Rage Drop

I note a difficulty in my SS/WP Tank. If in a long combat, when rage drops, I can overcome the loss in power by using 4 of my prestige powers, they operate at full strength just as in the old days. The problem I am having is the rage crash. It is such that no matter how I tweak it with sets + all the accolades + tier 2 of the incarnates, the blue bar does not really do much more than stay in its present location or climb by such a little bit that when crash occurs again I am in a dangerous position of running out of endurance. Is this normal? What has changed? I do not recall my rage having such an impact in the past.
  9. If any of the Airmen from Liberty or Guardian read this, your return is welcome. Join us on Excelsior Server.
  10. :) that is too easy. I was imagining some 50 character line I would need to program. Thank you.
  11. The guides are clear as mud to me. What command is used to make Rage autofire in tray 4 using the key pad number 1, and be able to turn it off if needed? Will it be there the next time I log in or do I need to program it every time I play? Thank you very much.
