All prestige costs do is allow people to flex how many members they have nolifing in AE, it adds literally nothing to the game to add costs to base building unless you're a corporation that needs to give players motivation to keep paying a subscription or incentivize engagement so you'll buy stuff from the cash shop. In that case a time costs = money for the devs.

A function for emote text with no name attached to it would be excellent for narration, say for when you're running an RP event or an AE for a large group. This would have been a nice tool to have during a few events I've run with my SG in the past.

Its also worth mentioning that detailing ongoing contract negotiations with a major corporation is a good way to get them to back out entirely from said negotiations for sheer lack of basic professionalism. So confidentiality on the part of the team is a must I imagine.
