That came out fairly decent given the tools. Nice work Huang.
Is there some reason why you did not just recreate your hero
from Live in the homecoming CC or is this a for fun project?

Yeah I saw that series 4 years ago, it's just a guy & his girlfriend doing everything.
I'm glad to see the are still around making content they have an excellent grasp of pop
culture references... even I had to look up a few of them I didn't get. Definitely worth a watch.

Oh right on. It would seem my super ability to accurately guess the artist from just
seeing the artwork doesn't extend so well to the art of arrangement/costumes.

No worries Red. It's not a problem for me but I know there are others who web surf from the office.
Filters on DA are a good thing (understatement!) but some of the content I watch that I don't
think is risque at all gets blocked by them so I have to switch them on/off on occasion.

Nicely done on the costume Twitless, I (and I'm sure
many others) are looking forward to your ongoing comic.

Hey! Thanks for the info! Good to see other comics creators here.
As for the artist, it's Brian Brinlee. He has a webcomic on Webtoons: https://www.webtoons.com/en/challenge/shadow-steel/list?title_no=574247
I do the writing and lettering for the comic, and my colorist is a guy named Febri Ferdian. We've got a great team!Sure sure. There are several other artists around these parts as well (off and on).
Thanks for the link I'll definitely go and check out his other comic.
Indeed you do. Congratz, it's great to have a team.

Sure thing guys.
Hey @Twitless here's a
quick suggestion for you. This...
is a great costume that Omega Girl wears.
You may want to drop it into this thread over here
and mention your comic. That is by far the most popular &
attention getting thread in this section of the forums
and it would surely draw a bunch more eyeballs.

@Oubliette_Red that link to his DA front page is definitely NSFW. You may want to mention it or use a spoiler box.
Yeah Redg Vicente is one of those artists on my "someday when I can afford it" list.
The quality is worth the price for sure though.

You're welcome, always happy to have new content creators.
The art style looks quite familiar but I'm not sure I know the artist(s).
Also I can't tell at this resolution if that is two signatures in the same lettering
style (like a separate illustrator and colorist) or a single artist using a first and last name.
By the way if you've not already seen them there are a couple other ongoing comics
already here, "Fragmentary Veritas" by @Cobalt Arachne (formerly Nayreia)
which is currently on hold while Cobalt does some Dev work for us
and the other is called "Homecoming" by @ToxinFox.
Edit: Found them, Logan Schell and Brian Brinlee.
Finally, not to spoil anything upcoming...
Spoilerbut I think Disasternaut is a great name for a big bad.

In the mean time here is a silly little doodle I did for a Dutch artist friend (not DD) a while back.
She was having a bad run and wasn't feeling inspired to draw anything so
I whipped this up to snap her out of it... or at least make
her laugh and cheer her up a little.

Yeah I'm sure Nyx is Hungary but she's probably Ghana have

Yemen, you're right. It's not like if you asked she would say "Iran
over to see Seth first chance I got" and we know Nyx hasn't
even Benin Paragon City in years and clearly Moldova
her options before deciding to get lunch first.

Well she was going to Czech in with Seth anyway. I'm sure she
will Thai her best to be civil but there's Norway this Swedens well.

I'm very "plain Jane" with a lot of costumes, sticking to similar costume "sets" and color schemes, but I went a bit farther this time and I'm really happy with how it came out.
Meet Low Point, my Ice/Icy Dominator. I'm particularly happy with this one because I didn't stick to any one set like I usually do, and found a bunch of good pieces that I mixed and matched into a good look for him. He's an unstable, nihilistic youth who developed super powers from a mutation, and is out to make the world just as cold and frozen as his heart is.
Good things can happen when you mix and match synergistically Gastly.

with homophones when making one of my mains Brahn Fuhrnos (Strength/Fire).

On 4/21/2021 at 3:45 PM, Christopher Robin said:Okay so keep the headpiece but something that "pops" more.
You know other than using straight color to make something pop
you can let contrast & the shapes/contours do the heavy lifting for you.
For me at distance read my eyes are drawn to the gold of the belt and gloves.
I took the gold from there & moved it up to her head to draw the focal point up.
I then changed the belt to a purple sash with silver ring to blend back in and changed
the gloves to a more bulky design to add flair to her silhouette. I changed her hairstyle to
something that didn't collide with the head gear so much and it also added to the V shaped
point neck/collar piece by making it more of a triple point or even heart shaped in the negative
space with her cleavage. Went with a different mask to open up the area around her eyes and bring
the neck V up onto her face and chin also so more about the design reads as "pointy" from a distance.
Finally I changed her boots to have Barbarian Fur adding more diagonal white shapes to match the
shoulder Bolero shape and then added the rings on instead of bindings to match her belt ring.
Overall I think it "pops" more & reads better at distance without losing the color scheme.
As for bridging the gap maybe keep some less impressive items like the simple cloth
wrapped gloves she hung on to rather than replace with fancy golden gauntlets?
Anywho that's my take on her @Sovereigne and you have several other great
options here to incorporate into your design. Best of luck with your Bio!

This would look good on single shoulder capes as well as others who use stars as their motif.

I was meaning the whole "Art and Multimedia" section, it's like every other

But yeah this thread is pretty great too and there are some
really helpful costume wizards lurking about.

swap the color of her top with the color of her eye glow.

Thank you American Valor. I'll pass your comment along to DD.
By special request do you mean the crown, the sparkles or the princesses?
- 3

Here's my progress on the colors. AV said he should be in the company
of some recognizable princesses and maybe have a different type of crown.
I'll try out some crown variations later and maybe some of the pink sparkle FX.
Also I notice some skin color got on his eyebrows, (probably a layer out of
order) so there are a few details to fix up but this is what I have so far.

@American Valorlooks like you are going to get something a little extra for your prize.
Darth Delicious was up for a collab so I let her handle the drawing for Charming.
I made a few small adjustments and started in on the colors which I will post a bit later.

Hi Ladiestorm! Glad the videos have helped you.
Did you check to see if you'd perhaps disabled the f keys? There is usually a button that enables/disables the f keys...............................................
F-Lock is a likely suspect. Without seeing what kind of laptop keyboard it is, some possibilities
would be look to the left or right of the space bar for a Fn key and press and hold it down while trying
your number keys. 1,2,3 should function as f1,f2,f3 or look along the top of the keyboard for anything that says
fn-lock and press it to see if a little LED comes on. On some laptop keyboards where space is limited the
text is replaced with a padlock symbol. To leave it "always on" could be a combination of Fn+Shift
or Fn+Esc or even Fn+Caps Lock as in the pics below. Hope this helps @ladiestorm.
If that doesn't do it for you I may be able to help with a bind or
load file to switch them on and off with a key or mouse button for you.

See, now you say not to be Jelly but then you go & up the
level of the stuff I am not supposed to be Jelly about like that.
Further, making an educated guess here, your in-house person did the
Controller and Dominator symbols first and has yet to make a Tanker one.
Also the sillier side of my brain (which I blame DD for) thinks you
should combine the Brute and Blaster symbols and make a ½ & ½ patch,
in effect a "Bruster/Brewster" to go along with that Heineken homage patch.
