  1. Thanks for the replies guys! I did a little rework on it before checking back in here and also determined SI was over slotted as well. Thanks for the insight and answering that AM and Hasten couldn't stack. I thought they couldn't, but I usually stop slotting recharge once hasten hits that 120s cooldown so I wasn't certain. I also appreciate the slotting advice, I felt like I was being wasteful but I couldn't really put my finger on it as I am still somewhat unfamiliar with the class Great advice from both of you, I would go back to the drawing board but honestly Nic Mercy this build you have is amazing. I really dig the soft-capped S/L and energy. Its got Perma PA and AM which were my main goals, and far better recovery, and lower end usage. Very impressive!   2. Hey everyone, so I started working on an Ill/Rad troller last night, so far really enjoying it. I am working on a build that has Perma AM and Perma Decoy army. The build is currently quite expensive, which isn't a big deal. But I am wondering if I went overboard with the recharge. Hasten currently has a recharge time of 96s and I am wondering if that will make hasten stack for 24s. If so, I have more than enough recharge already, and could possibly cut down a bit. Anyone know exactly how much recharge is needed to maintain Perma AM and Perma Decoy Army? Also, to the Ill/Rad trollers of this forum, am I suppose to be using the stacking Hasten to achieve Perma-Decoy army? I wasn't sure if they stacked so I slotted assuming they don't, and achieved Perma Decoy Army without it. But if I could save a few million influence but using stacking Hastens for 15-20s I think that would be better. Currently with 10s of Overlapped AM, and 24s of Overlapping Hasten I think I may have too much recharge (If such a thing is possible for this build) Expert Builders of the Forums, do you think I should go for this build as is and be a +recharge monster? Or am I going overboard and spending more money than necessary while also missing out on other helpful set bonuses?   3. Wow, such a good call! My DM/WP has Perma SD now in that hour time frame. I didn't mind the ~1s CD but it is still nice to be able to pull off Perma SD! Thanks for pointing that at. This is ultimately why I had to give up on it in my build. It wasn't worth losing the soft-capped S/L, and I had already sacrificed enough Recovery in the name of Recharge. But, the +20% Attack Rate increase you can build from an SG with an empowerment station is a nice way to have Perma SD without sacrficing those other areas.

The only time I have been able to achieve Perma SD is with a /Kin in Tow. 1s is what I kept coming back to as well in my DM/WP build even with enough recharge to achieve Perma Hasten (Slightly over actually, CD of about 118s according to Pines) So I think it is technically possible if you went all out with +recharge but I found the sacrifices to defense and recovery weren't worth shaving off the 1s. If you time the end of SD with Midnight Grasp or Shadow Maul by the time the animation ends SD will be back up and this makes feel Permaish. It's what I tell my self at least haha.
  5. I think if they want to change Dominators snipe to even out that is okay I guess, but at the same time, Dominators have control sets. Brutes don't have the auto taunting that tanks do because they have rage and play differently. Dominators have control powers and domination, an insta snipe on top of that just because Blasters have it doesn't seem like balance necessary. I would say this is actually a nerf to blasters, now that Defenders and Dominators can instant snipe as efficiently as a Blaster can. It was meant to be a Blaster buff when they added it to I24. The same question should go both ways, should Blasters get Domination on their Immobs and holds?
  6. I agree I don't like it at all. If it was just giving "Everyone instant snipe" than cool. Seems a bit easy but whatever its a private server. But by giving everyone Insta snipe they are changing things they shouldn't. An IO to make it so you can insta snipe out of combat even though you already could. Waste of an Ench slot. Changing the recharge time because now everyone has it? Great a longer snipe for no reason. It was fine the way it was, changing it just unnecessary. Or if they are going to change it so it's more available to everyone just give it to everyone, don't change a bunch of other stuff about the power. Quite frankly I think it was perfect as it was. I am not stoked that the character I built just so they could focus on Insta snipe as low as possible now has a longer recharge, made targeting drone a useless power, and I can't control when I want it on and off without wasting an Enhancement slot. Like should we start giving everyone Perma Hasten too? I like a lot of QoL changes Homecoming has done. But this one I think it unnecessary and will change the way blasters play for really basically no reason at all. Instant Snipe was perfect as it was already.
  7. I agree on thats why the PS devs change it, I think that is pretty spot on actually. A way to add a powerful superior hit into the rotation. In fact, thats why I love the current instant snipe, I can choose when I want to add another power into the rotation. But Insta snipe is already a thing. Most Blasters get Build up and Aim, both of which give Insta Snipe. Tactics will give it a I think a few slots, and targeting drone gave it unslotted. This proposed change on the Beta I don't think actually helps Blasters, I think it is taking away the ability to choose how you want your snipes to be.
  8. I haven't personally tried the Beta server yet, but I can say without trying I don't like the sniper change. I thought the i24 changes to Snipes were 100% perfect and needed no changing whatsoever and im not sure why they are being changed, were people really complaining about it? I don't want constant instant snipe, and I don't want all snipes in a battle to be fast, or all snipes out to be slow. I was Blaster all 7 years of live, I was thrilled to hear about the sniping changes on i24 and bummed I never got to see them. Once I did get to test them on HC, I thought "This is perfect, finally how Snipe should be" As a Blaster main, I think this is an awful change to snipes. I can trust my gut because everything I read about it doesn't line up with what PS wanted to do with it. You can get enough tohit with an unslotted Targeting Drone, Aim gives it, 3 small yellows give it. Insta Snipe was already insanely easy to get but required giving a little bit to. Now it's just a freebie for really no reason at all. Shame I gotta play on the other servers now to get the actual Insta snipe I enjoyed
  9. I just got some USB headphones to experiment with. I can create a DXDiag report but it's about 9 pages long. I'll post the system info and hopefully, that answers your question. Also just to note the crashes have been replaced with full-on Blue screens. At this point, it is impossible for me to play.   10. Glad you asked I actually came back to post my specs as I left a little vague. Currently all drivers, both video and sound, are up to date. I have an I7-4770k 3.5 Ghz Processor, 16 gigs of ram, and Geforce 1050 GTX Graphics card. I mostly use an Audio Interface as an external soundcard, although it is up to date. I am experimenting with not using and seeing if that helps.

  12. I was able to get an error report this most recent crash. I dunno if this will help or not but hoping it can. I love teaming but I dont really feel comfortable teaming when I keep crashing.   13. Hey everyone. So I am playing on Windows 7 and I have some pretty bad client crashing issues. It is pretty random too, sometimes it won't happen for several hours and sometimes it happens 4-5 times in a 30 minute period. I don't really mind them every once in a while, but I feel bad joining a TF and then crashing 5 times throughout it. I have tried reinstalling it, using the older torrent and the newer torrent. As well as re-validate before playing. Yet it still happens randomly. Does anyone else have this issue? I would post an error code but it doesn't seem to give me one. It just freezes up and closes. If anyone can share a similar issue and how they (If they) were able to fix it, or at least improve it would be greatly appreciated! I have experimented with various compatibility settings hoping that would work, but no such luck. EDIT: I should add I have whitelisted the programs in my firewall as well. Also that I have experimented at multiple graphics settings from Ultra to low and it doesn't seem to matter.
