  1. In the old build I had both caltrops and seeker drones picked and slotted. Could be an idea to just go back to that since I didnt enjoy neither time bomb nor web grenade. Cool, will continue revising some things.
  2. Yup. I skip seekers too. I looked at the numbers and understand that they are useful, but somehow found myself not using them as often. Besides, there's a whole lot of others things I can do instead of thinking I need to deploy them all the time. Triage beacon however is super underappreciated. Mine's fully slotted and can in many teams be a game changer. In TFs like ITF it's great when you're all bundled together fighting incoming crowds to drop a beacon. Mine provides +300% regen to nearby teammates and myself.
  3. Word, man. This is why I was so surprised by how well it performed. I looked at the powers thinking damn, it's gonna be so slow setting all these fixed area things but no, you actually adapt to the playstyle and it's quite amazing. Defenders get to choose between caltrops and web nade so it's not chosen for ya. Thanks for your comment. More confident on how to refine the build even more now.
  4. Alright cool cool. Yeah pretty certain I'm gonna drop it. it COULDVE been cool... Oh and web envelope from mace is a step down compared to web grenade despite being aoe. Think web grenades debuffs are much much higher if ya wanna go for that but yeah. Dont use it enough and that's a good enough reason for me to skip it. The way you described how you'd use the time bomb is so funny. That's exactly how it is! ugh, what a shame.
  5. Sup! Recently rolled a Traps/Psychic blast defender and he is an absolute maniac. The debuffing capabilities of traps is RIDICULOUS. Pleasantly surprised and have had a lot of fun in teams. HOWEVER, I recently revised his build and decided to drop trip mine for time bomb but I just cant make it work. I love the idea of having an attack that deals a shit ton of damage but it's wonky. Takes too long to place, is interruptable, damage seems "minimal" compared to what I can do in the meantime. I must point out that the build is not focused on damage, but rather debuffing. Let me know what you think! Should I drop time bomb because I can't make it work or do you have any tips? Also considering dropping team teleport for something else. Web grenade sits on my power try unused at almost all times. Consider dropping that one too.   7. Sup! Was browing the forums a little bit here and decided to roll a stalker. It's been super fun so far. Absolutely love Savage melee. When I hit lvl 50 I started working on a build. At the moment I have "Build up" on auto toggle. But since you cant have that on two powers I'm wondering what to do with hasten right now. Got any tips? Would love for both of them to be able to activate themselves automatically once they recharge. Anyway! What are your thoughts on this build so far?   9. Oh you're right! Didn't notice. That was just for the set bonus basically. Don't know if it makes much of a difference.
  10. Thanks! Great tips I had no idea. I do notice a big difference in healing power on the heals if they aren't slotted though? I'll take a closer look on the pistol powers there. Anything else I should change? Like I said, complete newb, don't know how to do builds but haven't had a lot of trouble staying alive at all so I got that covered. Kinda want to know how I can make my buffs/debuffs and random slottings with bonuses more powerful if possible. Oh and things I can skip. For instance, read on some other posts that I could skip "Soothing aura" but in my experience it still makes a too big of a difference when I'm in teams. So yeah! Stuff like that. Also don't know what other power sets might be useful or give me potential bonuses so would be cool to know.

  12. Hey! I've been playing my defender since the beginning of 2019 but I'm still a complete noob at everything. I've been slotting enchancements pretty arbitrarly, cause of their healing bonus and by looking at other builds. I'm looking for a very strong buff/heal build for my character. I stay and heal and buff as many as I can and try to help my team but I have a few AoE powers from dual pistols that are also useful debuffs. Not to mention anguishing cry. I really enjoy that playstyle and pain domination is an awesome set so far. Recently I've been doing flashback missions through oro with RP teams on everlasting. I wanna continue doing those missions as well as being good at healing and buffing in high lvl content. Thanks in advance! Please ask other questions!
