  1. So my understanding (which is very minimal) is that you have to have Evasive Maneuvers toggled on, as well as, Flight or Hover to get the benefit. I already take Maneuvers from Leadership, and on my Dark/Sonic defender I also have Tough/Weave. Is having another toggle in Evasive Maneuvers that good, or did we kind of get screwed a little in the last patch (granted free Afterburner is great, but I wonder if Evasive Maneuvers could be respecced out for something better)? Please help me understand exactly what this power does and what everyone's thoughts are on how to best use or lose it.
  2. Just tested this with Shatter, and it does seem to have a knockback effect. Nothing too bad, but I threw my Overwhelming Force set in there and it seemed to do the trick. I respeced out of Bash, and have been using Boxing as a filler. Shatter is up relatively quickly so I don't miss Bash at all. Thanks everyone for the advice on that one.
  3. I misread the tooltip for Crowd Control, but yeah I was pretty much only using the Overwhelming Force set to change what I thought was Knockback to Knockdown. So should I stick that in Shatter, or is Shatter knock down as well? I am going to look into some of your suggestions as well. Thanks so much!
  4. I took your advice on removing Bash, I hope this doesn't hurt me too much in lower levels in terms of not having that extra attack ready. In groups it probably wont matter, and solo I'm hopefully tough enough to take a few more hits while things recharge (guess I can always use some of the P2W attacks, or god help me Brawl/Dart lol). I also did the same for the rest of your suggestions, save for Hasten. I know that it is usually blasphemy in pretty much any build to skip it, but it is the last power you recommend and at that level I will be mostly running Incarnate stuff, and should have enough powers at the ready. Here is my update with your changes added in. 5. Just wanted to post my War Mace/Shield Defense build and see if there are any tweaks or recommendations you more experienced players would make. This would be primarily for just PVE content, task forces, and the like. If there are cheaper set options for my attacks that would work better when exemplared let me know. Otherwise if it looks solid, that would be great to hear as well. It might be an expensive build, but not so concerned with that as it gives me something to work towards. 6. I don't see many people taking the Pain Domination route, as it seems to be considered a subpar secondary, but it fit my theme pretty well, and thought I would put this up for any feedback/criticism if anyone is more familiar with the set. 7. I started a Dark/Kinetics corrupter taking most of the Sorcery pool as well to make kind of a Constantine themed/urban mage character. Wanted to be able to do a little damage and buff my teammates as i prefer group play. I have three slots left and have no clue what patron pool and powers to go best with what i have. Any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated.
  8. Would love to have some feedback on my build. I tried to combine a couple of other builds I have seen, but I am not very confident on my slotting, and am wondering if it there are some better powers to sub out. Any advice would greatly be appreciated. Currently I am level 14 and haven't been doing too bad with solo PvE, I plan on grouping up more when I hit 20 and feel like I can maybe contribute more in a team. 9. Thank you guys for the quick responses. Honestly, not necessarily bound to Corrupter (never made one so thought i would), but theme is more important to me. I honestly kind of forget that you can customize colors on powers, so i can make /Dark look white so that works and would be pretty cool. Any other big benefits going defender? Is it just better power synergy? I think I may need to look into that further.
  10. Hi all, trying to resurrect a themed character from Live, as a Sonic/Storm that I created but never really leveled. Concept is kind of a magic/banshee, but starting to second guess /Storm. Anyone try this combo or have any advice for a build? It seems like I would have to slot a few of those KB>KD IOs, and not really sure what else /Storm is contributing aside from the powers looking cool. Should i abandon for /Sonic or is/Dark an option?
  11. Thank you, not sure how i kept missing that.
  12. Is the Halo costume piece available in costume creator? I remember this piece was earned through the winter event (i think), but i also thought i saw it somewhere in character creation, but then couldn't find it when making a new character.
  13. For the veteran pets you get from P2W, is one markedly better than the other, or do they just fill in gaps in your build? I'm doubting the buffs are all that significant, but just curious everyone's thoughts. Playing a DP/Ninja, Water/Bio sentinels if that matters.
  14. I don't remember this pool from back in the day, can someone please explain how the Mystic flight and teleport compare to their "pure" versions from the original separate power pools?
