  1. Update. As sykoholic001 said, the largest plot is 24x28 and the largest room is 24x24. However, there is also a "Huge 2x21" room you can add (may need to rotate) and then use doorways to fill in the rest. This still leaves an unopened square diagonal from the starting corner.
  2. I'm guessing for such a thing to happen either: a) You'd have to give the files to the Homecoming Dev team and they would have to load it for you. Doubtful they'd want to do that, because if they did that for everyone it would be a full time job. b) The Dev team would have to create some sort of interface that allows users to upload the files themselves, similar to how the costume creator allows users to upload costume files. Uncertain how likely this is, because of how much work it would be to create and implement such an interface, and the amount of additional bandwidth needed to upload/download files of that size.
  3. Before it was revealed that the server code was leaked, some clever people figured out a way to access the client-side game files (stuff that came on the CD and the updates that got downloaded to users computers) by linking it to a chat client. This allowed users to log in, create characters with costumes, travel around the different zones, and interact with other users. It was similar to accessing the whole game in some ways, but very different in others. You only had access to travel powers, there were no freemoving NPC's, and you really couldn't play the game in any meaningful way. You may also hear people talk about Icon, which came before Paragon Chat. This was an offline set up that let you make costumes and access the zones, but you couldn't interact with anybody else. You did have access to some mod controls though, and could turn into or summon various NPC's (they didn't move or do anything though).
  4. I assume you know about the old SG, Simian Defense Force? They all used the Alien face with some goggles to make an ape-like face.
  5. I noticed that if you keep the starting plot size (8x8), add a rotated Large 5x8 room and a Medium 2x5 room, you can open up most* of the remaining squares by adding 6 doorways. (*I haven't found anyway to open the square just diagonal to the initial entrance room.) But if I want a bigger base with as open a floor plan as possible, what's the best strategy for this? Edit: Okay, it looks like the question was already answered here:
  6. If you've hit level 14 but can't find anyone to open an Ouroboros portal for you (maybe it's late at night, maybe you personally insulted every current player's mother...) you can still get there quickly without any help. If don't have access to a Super Group Base, register your own SG and make one (it's free!). Get to a Super Group Base teleporter with a beacon to "Echo Galaxy City". Zone to Echo Galaxy City and head to the train station. One of the options in the train's menu will be Ouroborus. Then you can climb up to the top of that pole/rail thing and get your badge and portal power to visit Ouroboros anytime you want.
  7. Cool! Thank you! That makes it easier to know where to plan to place it.
  8. I assume it's a buff of sorts but I can't find info on what buff(s) it actually provides. Also, is it a global proc, or does only work when the slotted power is used? (Meaning it would have to placed inside one of the form's inherent attacks, and it will only work on that form.)
  9. Sometimes the "Kill all" or "Find the" missions can be frustrating when you think you've been all over the map and still can't complete the mission. As it is, the Reveal power can actually make this harder because a lot of people use the fog of war to track where they've been. There's a mechanic added later to the game that made the mobs and glowies appear on the mission map if you're on long enough. But if you don't have a lot of time to play or you're just lazy, it can feel like it takes forever for this to happen. Please consider making the Reveal power show all glowies and mobs on a mission map. Alternately, create a new power that does this (call it Clairvoyance or something).
  10. It's definitely not a problem with my keyboard because I can actually see the button graphic move like it's being clicked. But nothing happens. I first noticed this when I was defeated during a TF and a teammate tried to resurrect me. I clicked Accept on the prompt... and nothing happened. Same thing happened later with trying to accept a recall friend teleport. Mostly I've gotten around this by turning off prompts. But I notice some items with the P2W vender also have this issue with the purchase/claim buttons.
  11. Noticed this the other day and thought it was adorable.
  12. The Circle of Thorns 4 Shoulder piece has this cool, little, mini-cape thing. But when you select the piece, the interior colors of the cape don't change when you change the primary/secondary colors. They stay whatever colors were selected when you picked the piece. The work around is to just use the "Costume Colors Linked" feature. But it's a small hassle if you've got a costume with a variety of colors and you want to tweak this one part.
  13. The whole damn city is Non-ADA compliant. Seriously. Pretend you're in a wheelchair and try going anywhere.
  14. I tend to disagree. The new blaster secondaries and the specifics for the new Sentinel AT alone are worthy of documenting. Plus P2W contacts, the new costume parts, etc.
  15. It's my understanding that with Paragon Chat, there is no server. All the user specific stuff is stored in a database on your computer. For something like that to work on Homecoming, users would have to have permission to download and upload information from the server. Right now I believe the only thing you can do that with is costume files saved from the costumer creator, and AE missions.
  16. I think Confuse powers are under appreciated because of the potential xp cost. But in addition to the potential debt lost because fewer mobs are attacking you, there are other really cool things you can do. Foes with Buff/DeBuff now work for you. Tsoo Sorcerer is now your BFF Malta Sapper? Don't mind if I do! Skyraider Engineer, a forcefield for my and my friends? That's so sweet of you! And speaking of that last one, pets that are summoned by a confused foe are also confused. BA Death Shaman now makes zombies that attack him. Storm Shaman's and Witches can get zapped by their own thunderclouds Devouring Earth Herder's can make all the Tree of Lifes and Fungi they want, it won't do them any good.
  17. It's funny looking back at a certain time when EVERY build had 14=travel, 16=hurdle/swift, 18=health, and 20=stamina.
  18. I just restarted Island Rum and now I see there are two "HOMECOMING" options. So I'm guessing one of them is Beta?
  19. I don't know 100% if this is the case for you, but when I use it there's a CONSIDERABLE time lag between the checkmark and the game actually loading. Like a couple minutes.
  20. So back when it was a big secret, they obviously didn't want documentation about it that could leak. And even know that it's out, some members of the community are hesitant to post anything that could be seen as an endorsement of illegal activity. As a result there doesn't seem to be much info about the state of I25 other than word of mouth. Are there Wiki's about I25 out there, or plans to make one? I know about Paragon Wiki and City of Heroes Wiki but they don't have anything. And there's a new wiki out there but it seems to be all about the coding and development, not the actual game changes.

    eng/eng

Is thete a current way to get those or do we have to wait for the dev team to activate the event? I really wish some clever person would make a way to turn kb into kd without losing enhancement slots. Knock back is a strange secondary effect in that it's *situationally* useful. So it requires more learning than other effects.
  22. I had at least one level 50 for each AT. Pretty much had to try every new power set that came out. Though most of them didn't get far and many got deleted in order to make room. Now I'm trying to pick which characters to recreate, and I'm eyeballing the Sentinel AT. Plus there's a lot of new Blaster secondaries I might try.
