  1. I know it's possible to change the server a character is on, but is it possible to transfer a character between two accounts?
  2. I usually bind the ` key as target_enemy_near. My left hand is in that area doing attacks, so when I really need to tag a goon running past, it's an easy flick. Barely use strafe - arrow keys do fine for movement.
  3. What's needed is a new ranged weapon set equivalent to Titan Weapons... BFG Weapons.
  4. Blueside or Redside has bounced back and forth for me. I started around issue 4, and was getting fairly sick of the early level grind in Paragon City by the time CoV dropped. CoV at launch was just better, the result of lessons learned in the previous issues. I fell in love with Brutes, coming off a deal of frustration with soloing Tankers (in particular SS/Inv). But then with Going Rogue, there was an overhaul of early game content and it became a LOT more enjoyable to run a hero. And you could take your Brute and reform them. Right now, I find the Blueside content more engaging. And since I can make a Hero Brute, why bother with Red? Unless the character IS a villain.
  5. Our gang expects to be out caroling, using my old emote suite for that purpose that I managed to find.
  6. As far as I can tell the RNG doesn't weight anything, so because "monstrous heads" is a basic head option like "Full Helmets", you're as likely to get that as the other, even though the latter is a more common *choice*, let alone the more normal head options. Random basic head choice, random basic torso choice, random basic leg choice, random basic back choice, then random selections within each of those categories, working down the hierarchy, as far as I can tell.
  7. Oh, sure. Leave legacy parts there by all means. This is about adding to the options, not reducing them. Some more texture variants other than flat colour would be great as well.
  8. But save up their Classical Latin and Greek enemies for end-of-arc showdowns or Raids.
  9. No doubt this has come up before, but there's a real divide between costume parts that were done in the earlier issues (especially anything from release) and the much later ones. Some of that comes down to cruder mesh designs, but a large subset are just costume part skins with lower resolutions and which lack texture options. Compare, say Bikini with any of the Witch tops. Could be a fairly easy project to get some of those skins redrafted to current (or at least Issue 24) standards. Most of the faces could do with a resolution makeover, too. Or... has this already been done in a cosmetic mod somewhere?
  10. This is something done in DCUO. Being able to put the chest detail on cape backs is another thing that could be part of this idea (might not be double the work if done at the same time?)
  11. You need a strong leader, someone confident and forthright: The Definite Article! They could all get together to solve... the Dative Case!
  12. My old main is a Katana/Invulnerability Scrapper robot, and he's always gone just fine. Predates Brutes and Stalkers being Hero side options, too, but it's the right archetype for the concept anyway. I'd put in a bit of love for Tanker as an option, though, especially if you expect to be teaming up. They can be a little frustrating to level up solo (a lot depends on powers), but do their designed job very well, and are the toughest archetype in the game. When Brutes and Scrappers are getting overwhelmed, Tankers are just warming up. Scrappers and Stalkers don't draw the aggro that Brutes or Tankers do, though, so they work well if you like a hit-and-run style. The Stalker ambush power and lower defenses pretty much require you to operate this way; Scrappers have more ability to finish a fight in decent shape and take on another group. It's largely a style preference thing.
  13. Unfortunately, this can only be done in limited ways. Fortunately, arms are one of the easy ones! You need to select one of the Robot Arm chest options (Robot Arm 1 and Robot arm 3, for right and left, I think. Robot Arm 2 is both). Once you have that category of chest selected, you can choose the type of arm. Be warned that selecting it will lose any chest or arm pieces you've already chosen on normal chest, so do the chest type selection first. For the legs, there are *some* pants options that have different legs. I think they're all pirate ones? Have a look at the Galactic Pirate pieces.
  14. Okay, back in the day, I created some pretty neat chained keybind suites to produce a couple of effects. Specifically: * Singing carols. Such classics as "Lord Recluse is Coming to Town" and "Oh Paragon". * Random phrases in combat (specifically hulkspeak - [character] SMASH PUNY [enemy]!!! sort of thing, but you just needed to vary the text as appropriate). It worked through renaming files when some of the number keys were pressed, and triggered an appropriate phrase when one particular one of them was pressed (I used "5", which was set up for the big damage, slow recharge attack). Have not been able to find a copy of them anywhere, despite finding a bunch of City backups. But I DO know that I put them out for public use (this would have probably been 2007-ish?). By any chance, do any old forumites happen to have some version of them, or know where they might be available? Thanks in advance
  15. Hood and robe/cape might work, to hide the eyes and seem self-effacing. Within the hood, you could use a mask that covers the upper face to make it looked shadowed.
