  1. I would also prefer it if Tome Bomb had/was a remote detonate. It's so hard to--no pun intended--time it properly when I put it down. I would also settle for turning it into a hand-grenade-tossing power :d. Maybe an incendiary one that leaves a small field of fire?
  2. Would it be possible to create an invisible/transparent weapon that only shows up as a costume option if, say, "Pincers" are selected for Upper Body -> Gloves?
  3. Imagine if switching builds could switch archetypes... or even just primary and secondary power sets! That's something I dare not hope for, let alone ask for.

First, I wanted to thank you because a while ago I requested to have AR and Arachnos Soldier rifle models proliferated between Blasters/Corruptors/Defenders/Sentinels/Arachnos Soldiers, and you did it! My ASes and AR-wielding toons look 28% more awesome now, so again, thank you! I'd like to ask if you'd consider making weapon models Back Details for all characters. I'm hoping that since weapon-wielding toons can already display their respective weapons on their back that this won't be a big ask or difficult to do. If that interferes with the Sheather/Holstered weapons, maybe they could be mirrored so that they're over the other shoulder. Please, and thank you again!
  5. I understand, but that's the description for the non-Dwarf version (my PB doesn't have Dwarf), so it's still wrong. If the info can't be changed or dynamically updated due to game engine limitations, that's fine.
  6. Gleaming Bolt's description says it has a range of 20.00ft, but its actual range is somewhere between 60ft to 80ft from a stationary target. I'm not sure if the actual range is wrong, or if it's just the information in its description that's wrong. I'm hoping it's the former.
  7. One of the few things I really liked about Champions Online was its approach to power selection. Although it could get meta'y (which is fine), I really liked that I could have a pistol-wielding, ice-slinging, martial artist. To that end, I think the dev team's approach to Power Pools has been really good. They give my characters more flavour beyond the Primary/Secondary powersets without being game breaking. To that end, I would love to see some more additions. Particularly, some alternatives to the Fighting Pool would be nice; maybe something featuring Assault Rifle/Energy Rifle or some Munitions Mastery animations, Dual Pistols (or a Single Pistol!), Sword/Battle Axe/War Mace, etc. I don't think they would have to be 100% separate pools for each, either. For example, for a "Close Combat Pool", let Weapon Customization include Swords, Battle Axes, and Maces and just go with a no-frills animation that works well for all three. Same with AR/ER, if that's possible. Also, I'd love to see some kind of one-handed Spear Primary/Secondary or Power Pool that could be used with Shield, but I imagine that would be a lot more work.
  8. I'd really love to see Martial Assault expanded to an archetype beyond Dominators. With how it seems so evenly split between melee and ranged, it might make a really cool Sentinel primary or Blaster secondary. (Apologies if any of this has been posted before, but I only turned up a topic to change Martial Assault when I searched.)
  9. 1. Illusion Controllers being able to create a Phantom Army that's a copy of the player character is awesome! Proliferating that "Mirror" power appearance to Thug/Ninja/Merc MMs would be even more awesome. Building an MM primary powerset around Super Strength/Martial Arts (like the Scrapper, not Ninjas!)/Street Justice melee powerset would be awesomely more awesome! 2. Allowing some Super Strength/Martial Arts/Street Justice power appearances/animations to be shared between each powerset would also be really cool! Thanks for reading!
  10. For what it's worth, I can totally see an AR Controller/Dominator. Something like: Rubber Slug (Ranged, High DMG(Smash), Foe Knockdown, Foe Disorient) Rock Salt (Ranged (Cone), Moderate DMG(Smash), Foe Knockdown) Flash Grenade (Ranged (Targeted AoE), Foe -To-Hit, -Perception) Caltrops Grenade (Ranged (Location AoE), Minor DoT(Lethal), Foe -SPD, -Jump) Wide Area Web Grenade (Ranged (Targeted AoE), Foe: Immobilize -Recharge -Fly) Aim Tear Gas (Ranged (Targeted AoE), Moderate DoT(Toxic), Foe -Resistance, Foe Paralyze) Grease Grenade (Ranged (Location AoE), Foe Knockdown, -SPD, -Jump, -DEF(All), Special(Moderate DoT(Fire) when ignited) Wide-Area Tazer (Ranged AoE, Moderate DoT(Energy), Foe Hold, -End, -Rec) There's probably some reduncancies or OP stuff in there that could be tweaked. It's just a quick hackjob of Trick Arrow, Arachnos Soldier, AR, and Elec.
  11. I voted no. This is likely to have been brought up already, but looking at a single power that is meant to be part of a framework without proper context can have a disastrous effect. The way one of the answers is phrased is a very good example of what I mean: "Only if it is backed by data as a criminally underchosen power". Is it that the power in question is underchosen, or that it has a competitor that's overselected? At first glance this sounds like the same problem, but it isn't. In the former case, it's because the power is too weak. In the latter case, it's because a competing selection is OP, and there is a bias toward selecting it. In that latter case, the proper solution isn't usually to buff the weak power, but rather to nerf the OP power. Then, you get into gameplay functions of the power, and selection biases based on that. Is it a High Chance to Stun power, and people who like high numbers purposely selecting for pure DPS? That's why when a single power is looked at, the whole framework needs to be looked at. Ideally, you'd monitor its affect on the Archetype(s) that can use it in the long-term too.
  12. When you have the time, if it would be possible, could you make Assault Rifle models available to Arachnos Soldiers, and Arachnos Soldier rifles to characters with the Assault Rifle powerpool? And maybe consider including some of the Beam Rifle rifles too. The Legacy model and the one that looks kind of like an AKM/AK-74 look like they could pass for Assault Rifle rifles and Arachnos Soldier rifles easily. Please and thank you.
