  1. Search your local appdata folder for configsp and delete it. That will resolve this issue. Come join us on Discord, for updated info.
  2. Please file a bug report on our GitHub (2.7.x has been retired)
  3. You need to join the club here on homecoming forums before you can post in it. Search your local appdata folder for configsp and delete it. That will resolve this issue. Come join us on Discord, for updated info.
  4. If the update is crashing it is most likely due to an invalid requirement. Your Mids probably isn't corrupted but rather it only finished half of the update process in which it renames the old files before removing them. If you look in the install directory you would probably see a bunch of files labeled as .bak (simply remove the .bak from the name of these files and it should restore them to working order) .NET 4.8 is required for the update feature to work, you cannot update from 2.7.x to 3.x, it requires a reinstall. (2.7.2.10 was the last release for the 2.x series) For added info join us on our Discord.
  5. You should be able to run the 64-bit version on Linux using a Wine 64 prefix.
  6. Just by looking at the screenshot you provided it appears something interfered with the update process. Please uninstall and reinstall using the latest installer. In the meantime, I will look into revamping the in-app update process to make it more streamlined and prevent things like this in the future.
  7. Don't feel awful about asking for things. 🙂 We usually try to accommodate most requests within reason. Come hang out with us on Discord. I saw this a few days ago btw, the latest release 3.0.3.1 now has the option to use the old totals window in the configuration options. You're welcome 😁
  8. This has been resolved in the latest version 🙂 Enjoy!
  9. This is something I am working on. I hope to have it resolved soon and a hotfix available for it as well as a few other things.
  10. It would mostly depend on what language you intend to have it created in. You will need a new UI created, and then all code would need to be tailored around that. In most cases today, this is handled by two different types of developers, one that handles purely UI, and another that just deals with the code itself. With that being said there are people who can and do both. Again this mostly depends on the language intended to be used. You will also need a host for the web application. Hope this helps I am also looking at creating a Web App version of MRB but that will happen after this next release.
  11. Wine64 is what you would need to run it on Catalina however if you chose to go the Wine route, so you were correct on that. MRB does not use .NET5 (yet), it uses .NET 4.8. Even though I myself do not own or use Mac, there are some other options I intended to explore to help Mac users with running MRB on Catalina. Sadly however I have not yet had a chance to pursue this as most of my time has been spent inside of Visual Studio working on the next release of MRB.
  12. Let me know, Mac isn't officially supported since Mids is technically a Windows application but we do our best to accommodate.
  13. The 2.7 release uses 64 bit architecture. Per our Discord announcements
  14. 1) What version/release of MRB were you attempting to use with Catalina? 2) MRB is open-source and licensed under GPL 3.0. As long as the rules of the license are abided you may do what you wish.

  16. This appears to be a minor bug in the database. It will be fixed in the upcoming release.
  17. Primary link to the archive (zipped version) has been restored.
  18. This may have changed, Terrify in days of old was classified as Fear (Special). Some of the things you will see in MRB are left over (reverse engineered from the data files) from the project of old/live game. Terrify at that time I believe did add -ToHit under it's special effect. Also unless it has changed on HC the power also accepted ToHit Debuff IOs and sets. I usually have my nose deep in source to check things so I leave that to rest of my team as I continue to make improvements to the program itself. Thanks for the report 🙂
  19. Well since this thread is apparently moving forward, figure I'll show the launcher I decided to create for HC as we continue to work on the next release of Mids Reborn. The launcher should be done very soon. A few things left to do on it and a couple things to tidy up but here's an early preview. The launcher will feature a custom progress indicator for downloading. No more forced auto downloads. Selection between 32 or 64 bit clients via settings to keep it clean. Ability to opt-in for the public beta branch (server). And possibly more....
