  1. I think this is the same system I was using back on live, and while it was a sometimes problems... it seems to be happening with greater regularity now. My graphic card seems to hate the sewer water most of all. If I try to pivot it will occasionally "strobe out" and turn into an epileptic's worst nightmare. Guess it kinda looks like when you're suffering from vertigo and there's a strobe light going off. Any way to help fix this via some sort of setting ... *digs up computer specs* ... I already know this is a potato... OS is Windows 8.1 64-bit Processor - Intel Pentium CPU B980 @ 2.40Ghz (2 CPUs) Video Card - [] Simply [] Intel HD Graphics w/ 1644 MB Display Memory Driver Version - 9.17.0010.3223 Driver Date - 10/10/2013 Laptop is a Toshiba Satellite Model
  2. I know this isn't quite what you're asking for and I'm all for a melee set to impose -regen or more consistently a -dam ... But to work with what's already present, far as a "Time Armor" is concerned. For those that didn't want to be like Daredevil, I've known many to considered their Super Reflexes to actually been seeing into the near future allowing you to OLE! yourself out of attacks unscathed. If you wanted to wander away from the usual interpretation of the Dark Powersets to a connection with the Netherworld; easily connecting them to magic or Natural origins. But you could also interpret them as a sort of Entropy, or a "Negative Time" imposing a time dilation where everything's fuzzy explaining the -tohit. Leaning more easily into Science & Tech origins. Psionic Melee's Insight and -recharge can be seen as forms of future sight, and time dilation, or stealing small bits of time away from them. There's also Kinetic Melee being you know how to Palm Catch attacks and rechanneling the force back out through knowing well placed counterpunches.
  3. As I recall, ... the Olympians, Egyptian, and other ancient old world diefic entities were basically all a result of humanities first discovery of the Well, but since they found a much more potent Well because it was, assumingly, filling up for untold eons, compared to what Cole found in Greece around five thousand years later. Plus world human population was, for simplicity, say five million when the ancients found it. Compared to around two billion in 1928. [] According to one graph I found. [] https://ourworldindata.org/world-population-growth Because it not only cured Cole, and mutated Richter (Recluse) but the reopening of Pandora's Box also gave rise to Nemesis, the Dark Watcher, gave Team Vambrace that final spark of ingenuity for their power armor to work right. The Well was not only power, but also like the Mind Infinity Stone fueling ingenuity and progress. Granted Statesman and Recluse got the Lion's Shares for this new heroic age. But when they opened the box almost everyone also got a piece. It's just not everyone can access their share through whatever means.
  4. Any chance for MM's Necromancy Attacks get the Power Customization Options the other iterations get? <,< It'd be pretty sweet to do double Skull Blasts with Gloom AND Dark Blast
  5. Well, I did post this in the Roleplaying Section of the Forums. So, yes some sort of RP would be nice. Whether it's the casual antics of ne'erdowells, or it's the deep machinations of black souls doomed for the pit. Or somewhere in-between, that's open to debate. My understanding is Everlasting is the main RP server here? But I am open to another home for this group. Although I am kind of keen of the idea and irony of such a VG making it's home on Torchbearer. Yes I do realize that that the VEAT's can eventually get access to Soul Mastery but they're pigeonholed by their main pools. I do realize the Warshades aren't truly Dark Powers but the pools being named Umbral or Latin for Shade. Plus certain aspects of their Aura is a reskinned version of Dark Aura. I realize that they're not always welcomed in a party or group cuz of the extra spawns. I welcome the challenge, and I rather enjoy the idea of doing "Crazy 8's" conquering all the challenges of the Isles under a Cloak of Darkness. If we're so emboldened, downing all the trials or the Incarnates and taking over the powers of Dark Astoria to claim the Multiverse. Think it'd be fitting for such an accord to be forged on Halloween, as some perceive it to be among the darkest of nights. I find it rather amusing if there came to be a SG that'd act as a foil to "us." ... Something along the lines of ... "The Torchbearers" where all the members among them would have at least one of their pools be fire. =p ... And Peacebringers for the parity... I realize that this would also exclude VEATs again. My apologies, but that's the concept. One thing I never quite got back on Live was no way for SGs and VGs to try to pester each other outside of Raids if/when they ever worked. Champions Online Nemesis System was neat and had some potential. But that's another topic for a different section.
  6. Hey all, I've made a stunning realization (although this was a "valid idea" back towards the end of Live, I think ... ??? ) But I have a simple concept for a Villain Group, and that is "The Heart of Darkness" (or maybe "The League of Shadows") <,< Requirement to be a member? It's super simple... have at least one dark set for your power pools. [] Willing to accept Warshades. [] Short of VEATs and PBs, every AT -can- be a Dark/Dark and either have access to Dark or Soul Mastery. I imagine it'd make "sense" for a Necro/Miasma MM to be leader of it all, and the higher officers would be the Dark/Dark's
  7. I know it's kind of opposite to what the OP was wanting ... but perhaps the easiest way to implement a buff of this type would be the MM's pets get buffed as the others are beaten? It should easy enough for the game to track when a pet is KO'ed and that causes the remaining pets to go into a "frenzy" where they get +ACC +DAM +Special based on who is gone? Like your Arsonist (which dies all the time) would provide an effective perma Insight & Enrage to the remaining Pets. And if one of your Enforcers dropped that kick in that would in a separate perma Keen Insight, Focused Rage, & Luck.
  8. Far as the old Dev Team's theory on the differences between these enemies is an AV was a foe meant to be faced by at least 5-6 heroes on a team to defeat. They were seen in missions and normally you could only take them on with a team of 8 heroes. Were normally used to mark the climax of a story arc, and bring about memorable moments on the achievement of taking down an oppressive opponent. They were also about the size of your own hero so they could fit in any location. Giant Monsters are exactly that, towering titans to tackle. Could be any size and gave the Team some room to get a bit more creative on design, and what they could do. Fortunately, most of them were "happy" enough to be sequestered to largely unpopulated areas. Think GM's were originally meant to need about 12 heroes to drive them back into hiding. This was back in the day LONG before League's were even thought of so it'd take a coordinated effort between at least 2 teams communicating over Broadcast to help insure all combatants would get the credit as many of them rewarded a badge.
