Hey all. So, I had taken a bit of a break from gaming. Came back to CoH and ran my Spines/Fire/Mu farmer on 19823, by Big Gotter. I got my ass handed to me. Now, I've done a little bit of reading, but not a lot. I realize things were nerfed a bit. But reading some of these it sounds like some of you have just made some adjustments to builds, which was going to happen, of course. Saying that, does anyone have a current Spines/Fire/Mu Brute build that runs decently that they could post to me here? I have a Rad/Fire/Mu tank build that surprisingly does decently in that same AE mish, but it's obviously slower at finishing up than my Brute had been at one time. But its survivability seems twice that of the Brute now, which hadn't ever been an issue, and I don't understand the how/why things have changed so much. Thanks

Heya. With all the hard work that has been put into these builds for us to look over, I found myself wanting to help out a little bit. Hey all. I am looking to make a Norse style character that has Archery as one of his powers. But I am having issues deciding what to take as I normally play Tankers/Brutes and haven't the foggiest idea of the Archetypes outside of those. I play solo mostly, so input on what Archetypes and Powersets to match with Archery would help immensely, though I am not against creating a support character either. Just looking for help on getting me started on one that I am not going to struggle with in near every mission I take on. Thanks for looking in on this.

Right. Like I said, ALMOST perma Power Surge. He had Phase Shift installed as the safe guard after the crash. Power Surge-Crash-eat a Blue-Phase Shift- back to Power Surge. Something like that. So if I can get it to hit the recharge cap as Macskull states, this is possible again. 😄

Years ago someone posted a Melee build where they had the Electric Defense set. He had Power Surge to where it was almost... almost.. perma'd. Has anyone here tried to recreate this build yet, and if so would you share it, please, if possible? If not able to post a build, is there any links to the old game forums where I can look through things at? Any help at all to get me pointed in the right direction would help. I truly suck at making builds from scratch. Thanks.

Okay. So I've done my best to turn my WM/WP brute into a... well.... brute. And I realize now, as I realized seven years ago, I absolutely suck at building something respectable. I 'manage' with the basic build all the way to 50, but when I start to lay it out in Mids it's really a mess.... both the results and my now fried brain. How do you guys go about laying things out all nice and proper like from scratch without spending a week upon studying the build? (Besides begging for someone else's, that is).

Right on the Wiki, I've read it a couple of times now and it's confusing me because of a few things that don't quite match what it is telling me. My character is level 40, so I've obviously defeated plenty of NPCs to this point. I have the Tips tab in my contact window, yet I don't have any actual missions under that tab. Wiki says I will get that tab once I have a defeated enemy hand over a Tips mission to me. I also do not have the Tipped Off badge. Makes me curious as to why I have the Tips tab as it says its an earned thing, yet no missions and no badge.

Hey all. As the title mentions, I am looking for how I can start up the Tips missions. I've gone to two different contacts that are in my tips window, and have run about 5 missions with the second one I found.... yet I seem to be getting nothing but the XP and Inf from these missions. When I go to the window that shows my climb through the Alignment Points, I've earned nothing. Thanks for reading.

This last time all I did to correct the issue was to restart my pc. No deleting and reloading Tequila again, thank god. Hope that helps out some of you.

It's happened yet again. I click the Tequila.exe icon, it starts to load up, then disappears before I can try to validate. Anyone know of anything to be done about this? Deleting and reloading Tequila is a pain in the butt. :(

Okay. So, I deleted anything to do with Tequila and downloaded it again, I am back up and playing once more. Just wanted to pass this info on. Best of Luck!

I am having Tequila issues as well. I click it to open it, you can watch the green bar start to go from left to right, and then it just disappears. I can't click into the validation option as it closes to fast to get there.

Heya. SO... I just created my account. Went through everything, account verification and all that. Started up CoH, (both the standard and 64 bit), but when I try to log in it's telling me either my user name or passowrd are wrong. They can't be. I just created them, and are using both the User name and Password to log into here. Help?
