  4. Been messing with Pines for a couple days now and not sure how viable this is. Basically, my idea was to position the toon just behind the melee to provide nukes/AoE, debuffs, and a little support with GZ. This is Buck Wild, my Scrapper on Indomitable, and currently my favorite toon to play. thought I'd share as I don't remember seeing this combo on the forums, and any suggestions for tweaks is appreciated. This is my current running build with my Incarnate goals. I'm working from the premise that KM is all about recharge; that I MUST keep Power Siphon up as much as possible. With the proc in Force Feedback, you can perma-Hasten in combat, and the instant recharge from Concentrated Strikes is awesome. High recharge also helps with the long animation times.   10. I'm thinking of rolling an Elec/ and looking at secondaries in Pines. I'm thinking of doing SR or Nin to slot LotG Recharges along with Hasten in an attempt to push the dps potential. But, is there enough drain from the target to significantly help with End?

  15. IIRC, my old binds didn't use the syntax that I found online, but I don't remember exactly how, lol. I may be stating the obvious, busy it seems the problem is that the game doesn't recognize commands at all after the color commands are entered. Not sure it's because of the <> or it's an issue of anything after beginchat. I ran out of time playing with it before work, so I'll have to mess with it some more tomorrow.   16. I've got a related question. Back in the day, I had a villain that I light-roleplayed her multiple personalities by using bind load files to cycle through chat bubble color changes when I used chat. IIRC, it was bound to the enter key, but when I tried it the other day, it effectively disabled the ability to type in the chat window. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this work?

One of my old Villains was supposed to have multiple personalities, so I set it up with bind_load_files so that every time I hit enter to chat, it would change the colors of the chat bubble to simulate this. I tried to redo this recently, but it's not working. The game doesn't seem to recognize the commands I put in to change the colors and just puts them into my chat entry. The commands I started with are: Chat1.txt enter ""beginchat <color black><bgcolor #aaaa22> "$$bindloadfile c:\coh\chat2.txt" chat2.txt enter ""beginchat <color black><bgcolor #bbbb22> "$$bindloadfile c:\coh\chat3.txt" chat3.txt enter ""beginchat <color black><bgcolor #cccc22> "$$bindloadfile c:\coh\chat1.txt" But the game says it doesn't recognize the <color> commands or the ". It also disables the enter key so that I can't open chat with it. How do I make this work?
  18. Currently playing Mind/Martial and loving it after my latest respec. The character is currently L37. I took the AoE hold powers from Mind only (Plus Mesmerize), and plan to take all the Martial abilities except Caltrops. I also took Stealth and Invisibility for missions/travel, plus Kick/Tough/Weave, Combat Jumping, and the obligatory Hasten. This runs VERY End heavy, which has become very manageable after I slotted all the powers with 1 End Redux IO and the toggles with 2. Alternatively, I could drop the Concealment powers for something else. Terrify is the best tool in the kit. Run up, fear the entire mob, then jump in and rip through them with SK/DT/TS. Rotate through Total Domination and Mass Confusion for subsequent groups, with Mass Hypnosis as a backup. I'm not sure what to take for epics, but leaning towards Primal for Conserve Power. I'm still tweaking the build, but so far it's a fun project.
