  1. It is a laptop, but an NVIDIA card. I did run sfc /scannow and it came back with no issues. Lo and behold the -gfxreset has done the trick! May Statesman and Manticore show favor upon you 🙂
  2. About a week ago my game started crashing after I click the play button to open it from the launcher. I just get a black screen and nothing happens. In the debug console I see it is stopping after initializing fonts. (Screenshot below is successful game start showing where logs stop now.) There have been no hardware or settings changes prior to this happening. I've verified the game files and checked for updates on the video card. The only thing that gets me back in is checking "Reset graphics on next run", but I have to do it every time I run the game, which is less than ideal. Any suggestions on a fix or even a workaround? I thought about adding the extra launch parameter for resetting graphics so that maybe it won't get removed every time, but I can't find the parameter. I read someone talking about "usetexenvcombine" but that didn't do anything for me. TIA!!!
  3. Upgrading to Homecoming Launcher was a good call! While it didn't fix the issue directly, I was able to navigate the settings files and manually update the audio lines in C:\Games\Homecoming\settings\live\client.json. They were set to zero and wouldn't move based on the game settings. When I set them to 1 it finally started accepting the game settings and saving them correctly.
  4. I ended up logging in on my windows profile and having him log in to his COH account that way. Now there's no sound on my windows profile either 😕
  5. I installed Tequila/CoH on my Windows 10 machine and played CoH fine for a long time. When my hubby logs on to the machine with his windows profile, the game works except there is no sound. I've checked and on my login it is still fine. Any ideas? Do I have to reinstall under his profile? I've done all the normal things regarding sound issues: Check in game audio settings Select correct audio out device (only one) Reset audio settings for individual apps Unfortunately I also upgraded to Windows 11 thinking that might reset things, but it didn't help and now I have Windows 11 😞
