  1. That's what's great about it! I've found that engaging the person and bringing up infringment just leads to childish outburts, so I do this instead.
  2. Some of us even chat you to say 'kewl costume' just to get your character name, global name, and petition you for harrassment/conduct - specifically to get you in front of the GMs...
  3. Good guide. I am running a Grav/Arse/Energy and ended up having a build that didn't focus so much on Defense at all. I have more Resist than Defense, but even that isn't capped. I did take Combat Jumping, Tough, Weave, and Temp Invulnerability. What I built for, aside from Recharge, was Endurance tools, Damage Bonuses and Accuracy, and lots of procs. I'm not running any purple sets, and honestly I don't need them, which is a relief. Force Feedback in Propel and Buckshot early on were my bread and butter for ghetto recharge. Even before Hasten it was noticable, I even put one in Kick. 🤣 I also ran Kismet until I got Targeting Drone, then I dropped it. My recharge with Hasten up is 132.50%. My recharge with Ageless up 152.50%. It's the most fun I've had on a Dominator so far.
  4. The mines are fine with wormhole. But I tend to also drop mines all over the place, including and especially near Singularity. Buckshot and propel can also knock mobs into minefields.
  5. I have a very, very solid Grav/Arsenal build. I'm working on the incarnates now. It's loads of fun to play too.
  6. My first character was an AR/EM. That meant I had a serious love for punching things and sending them across the map. All the better if I slotted Knockback so I could you know, follow up with my ranged powers. We all follow the tank, so I would of course, also target through the tank. You can imagine the love I got.
  7. Bazooka Tooth was my signature on Live. He's an AR/EM blaster. He's not fully kitted out yet as far as Incarnates, but he's done otherwise. My other signature character is Iron Bow, my badger, who is an Archery/Ninja/Ninja Sentinel with Natural origin and no real travel power. I am now working on two signature SGs - one hero and one villain, with the original ATs the game had when CoH and CoV launched. The villain group is going to only do redside, and the Hero group will only do blueside, with the coolest bases I can muster for each.
  8. Also I'll add that you can use the superbase temp powers available to purchase with salvage to shore up various things, if you're planning ahead. And I would plan ahead for any solo AV fight.

  12. I am leveling a Gravity/Arsenal Assault. The synergies are great because of Knockback! Propel + Buckshot, followed by An AOE Hold is sweet. I put FF Procs everywhere I can asap. This combo means a lot of recharge and early, which is what you want on a Dom. The Melee strikes are great too. It's easy to dispatch pesky Sorcerers quickly. Like any other grav build, I leave off crushing field until later in the build because it's just an aggro magnet if it's your opener. Wormhole is a decent opener though. Gonna enjoy setting up mines in solo missions, and learning to buckshot and propel mobs into mines behind them.

  15. Started a new Dom with the Paragon Protector costume stuff! Grav/Arsenal Assault Dom named "Paragon Prolapser". 🙈 He will NOT be slotting any Sudden Accs. FF +rech Procs and Hasten...2 great kb cones early on...rifle butt power hit like a truck. Solo'd to 22 tonight and it was great.
  16. I'm glad that idiots are putting themselves out in the open. That didn't use to happen so often, except whenever an AR/EM blaster stood next to the Tank and power punched his target across the room. Wonder who that idiot was? Oh right, it was me.

Dodgy Weather has been a concept in my head, and a character that I leveled quickly on a farm, and then parked for a few years. I haven’t had access to mids in a long time (I’m on a Macbook), so I’m sharing a power breakdown here, to see if anyone has any interesting tweaks. As it is, I’m quite happy with what he does and how he plays. I didn’t see many archery corrs on the forums, and I didn’t see ANY Archery/Storm. The recharge in combat is ridiculous, and easily able to drop three lightning storms during Manticore’s last AV fights.I’m stealthy so that’s good, but I’m also pretty dang tough. Wishlist: If there was a way to add some hold resistance into this build without a major sacrifice elsewhere, then I’m all ears. I would also gladly skip Snow Storm for something else (Vengeance comes to mind).
  18. I never level until I have gotten the reward merits for atlas, sold those, and gotten the amplifiers. All three. They are cheapest at level 1 and well worth it.
  19. Thanks for an explanation of the most basic aspect of the game. Been playing since live in '04. I get it, jumping is hard. Just like aiming, which requires so much...oh wait. You don't have to aim you just hit the tab key.
  20. I don't know why everyone hates cones. But I would say ice/poison for the fast dpa and all the slows you can stack into attacks.
  21. Archery/Ninja/Ninja... You'll never have more fun. The ride up is challenging but you end up fairly godmode. Archery is not, as some one above said, poop. It's better than Dual Pistols when you compare the two. Honest.
  22. Ninja Mastery let's you use two Achilles procs, and Lockdown makes the hold reliable on bosses, oddly enough.
