Windows: How to brighten gamma on tray buttons/chat windows/charater select screens/loading screens? Gamma only works for gameplay now. So dark since the patch and can not be brightened with gamma setting. Is it me?

Re-downloaded the modified HC launcher, and while it warned some items failed to download, the game seems to be working fine! Thank you so much for the quick action and advice from all, it is very much appreciated!

Hi, Was using Tequila for City of Heroes On Windows XP SP3. Worked fine until yesterday, it was downloading an update and gave me the following errors of files that failed to download. Likewise when game is launches I get this error: : I have tried to install the new launcher, but get this error: "Could not load launcher bootstrap package." Please let me know what, if anything, I can do to fix this and load the game using EITHER launchers on this machine. Thank you so much in advance for your help!
