  1. Those look great, can i ask for a link? Also, kudos to 12th for the original texture pack.
  2. So close, and yet so far... Gratitude, worked perfectly.
  3. Just a quick question for the macro masters here... What is missing in this syntax so that the macro ends up having an image icon while also triggering the afk status+message? Example: /macro_image "SuperSpeed_Burnout" afk "/afk randommessage" Tried everything from removing spaces and replacing them with $$, but i just can't seem to get it to work. Any ideas?
  4. Let's hope regular funding can cover server capacity costs, then... Because the playerbase is expanding, as it should be. As for personal housing, that would definitely be a welcome implement, when it comes to QoL features. It's already popular in other MMO's like ESO or BDO. Time will tell.
  5. I see, thanks for the update. Having only recently rejoined, i was under the impression alignment still kept players from accessing their SG/VG bases (but not their membership), as was the case before. Browsing through the Supergroup announcements list and seeing how some people were still creating twin versions of their SG's on both sides only reinforced the idea. Case closed then... Unless the Devs do decide to look into multi-SG joining, which i also think would require extensive coding.
  6. We all know CoX is unique among MMO's in the creative tools it provides players. This is true for both non-RP'ers and RP'ers alike, and, in one way or another, we all try to do our best with what we have, circumventing whatever limitations our game has, in order to achieve our visions. That said, and even though there are multiple ways to overcome this, i believe removing the alignment restrictions for joining a SG, VG, or anything inbetween, would be a most welcome addition, if game code allowed for it. Having Hero themed characters join a VG, Rogue themed characters join a SG, are just some of the possibilities this change would allow for, all without necessarily breaking the game's inner mechanics and, essentially, taking the concept for Going Rogue one step further. Needless to say, it would be an amazing tool for RP purposes, both to enrich immersion and also reduce the need to establish twin bases or branches of a SG/VG on both blue and red sides to compensate for the fact that, as it stands, bases aren't co-op zones yet. Some suggestions would be: - A "free for all" mode where any player, regardless of their alignment, could fully join a SG, VG, etc, according to their own vision. If necessary, keep the Epic Powers system intact, as a decisive factor for choosing an alignment later on, albeit at the expense of membership. - Change base restrictions and turn base areas into co-op zones (like Pocket D), so that everyone in a given group could gather and interact. This change doesn't need to (and shouldn't) extend to all in-game areas, just bases. - As an added feature, allow players to join more than 1 SG or VG with the same character, as coalitioning doesn't always work well for thematic purposes. I understand this topic belongs in the "Suggestions" area, and that it is aimed specifically at the RP'ing community (therefore unlikely to be implemented), but i would like to hear everyone's opinions on this. Testing the waters, so to speak. What do you think? [TL;DR: Bases as co-cop areas to allow for all alignments to join and access any SG/VG]
  7. EDIT: mouse cursor now missing when using any splash screen skin, be it CoH, CoV or GR, the only fix being running the game windowed. I have tried other tips like increasing mouse cursor size, switching to compatibility mode, changing screen res, nothing worked so far. As the title says, when launching CoX using the Going Rogue skin, my mouse cursor disappears. The clickable areas are still highlighted when the invisible cursor lands on them, but to actually see it i need to run the game windowed. This doesn't happen when using the CoH or CoV skins, only with Going Rogue. It's mostly a cosmetic issue, but i wonder if anyone can provide some insight as to what is going on. I browsed through the similar topics here and already tried some of the solutions listed, such as turning off mouse trails, etc. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, and apologies if this is a solved issue already, couldn't find any post that matched it.
  8. CoX (although the acronym seems to be rarely used nowadays) was my first MMO. Like so many others have said, it was, it IS much more than just a game to me. Back then, i was active in the Union server, blueside and especially redside (NHU, Court of the Blood Countess, i salute you). After shutdown i would, from time to time, search for updates regarding the status of the game, mostly for the nostalgia and, despite promising fanmade projects, without much hope of ever returning to Paragon City, the Rogue Isles, Praetoria. Until last year, when SCoRE, and now Homecoming, made that possible. More than the means to an end which i fully subscribe to, you, the Devs and GM's, represent the very embodiment of wishing something into reality, and your efforts to legitimize "our" current version of the game, make it better than it ever was, and also gather the community (against what could very well descend into a hate-filled server war) are nothing short of laudable. I am ever grateful to you, i will support you whenever possible, and i'm sure i speak for everyone when i say we will ALL stand behind you if and when the time comes. The mark of a great game, beyond the enjoyment it provides, is, in my opinion, whatever form of personal growth it brings to the user. I believe we have all experienced that gift somehow, and that is why CoX can be narrowed down to three words: Community, Customization, Home. Let us all unite, as we did before, and guard it fiercely. Because that's what we do. Gratitude, to you all. It's good to be home again.
