  1. Have the powers be on a 60 (30/15/whatever) minute cooldown and they trigger automatically when you go below 5% heelth. They lose the crash but release a Nike when they activate. Example: Frank the Invincible Tanker is getting his ass kicked. He drops below 5% health. Unstoppable kicks in automatically, releases a Nova like nuke, boosts his protections, and then goes on a 60 minute (or less) cooldown.
  2. You realize that when a power is used against a foe and when it's used against an enemy it can have two seperate effects, right? I'm not making fun, you might not be aware. The goal here is to maintain the power "as is" just differentiating based on who is being targeted.
  3. Notice how all of my suggestions were intuitive? Like, for example, making Dark Servant qualifying as a pet... especially considering *tornado* does. How a person relatively new to the game would expect a Mastermind would excel at being a leader rather than being super good in a fist fight? Are you picking up what I'm putting down friend? Is it getting to ya?
  4. tl;dr I don't care that you're doing fine. I don't care that you faceroll +243/x9329473 Carnies. I care about the people not using Burnout to reactivate Gang War. Quick and Dirty Suggestions to improve the Mastermind AT. 1. Allow Masterminds, for the love of God, to slot their ATOs into their attacks. 2. Increase the damage of *mastermind* attacks. Maybe to Corrupter levels? We're not asking to go full Peacebringer or anything Heaven forbid... Corrupter will do just fine. 3. MM Upgrade Powers (Think Equip or Upgrade Robot, those powers) grant a 2% Bonus to: Defense, Resistance, Damage, and Accuracy to any pets it's cast on and may be slotted out accordingly. In other words if I wanted my robots to be super resisty I would triple slot it with resistance giving all of my robots a 4% resistance buff across the board. They don't accept sets. 4. Replace Rez powers that are largely useless dead powers for an MM (not completely, but still) with toggle defenses in a manner similar to blaster sustains, with less on recovery and more about the status protections. If not this, find something to do with them. 5. Leadership. Masterminds (*minds*) are super awesome tough as nails fighters who get Tanker tier access to fighting pool percentages (seriously, check it out, nobody gets higher fighting pool percentages than tankers and... masterminds)... but their leadership skills, their entire job, is just about one step ahead of your local stalker. Your friendly brute might offer some pointers because the mastermind is just that bad at leadership. Not asking for defender tier here (although that would be nice and rather sane)... but you know, could we at least be on speaking terms with the controllers in this regard? 6. Dark Servant isn't a Pet and doesn't get Pet Enhanencements... but Tornado... TORNADO... does? Dubyateeyeffyo. I understand not everything in my fictional super hero game has to be sane, but *come on*. There's more but you get the idea.
  5. Would this have to be carefully balanced? ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY. So let's just get that out of the way right now. I am under no illusions as to how dangerous what I'm proposing is. But.. I always err in the side of expanding player options so here goes. Give Universal Damage Enhancements a new type.. Introducing BRAWLTECH GLOBAL Damage Enhancement. 1. Could only be slotted in BRAWL 2. A BGDE (Brawltek Global Damage Enhancement) would modify a n existing secondary effect or add a tertiary effect to every single one of your powers that deals damage. GDEs would not provide the standard set bonuses per se, but would instead enhance the magnitude of whatever effect that's being added to your attack. For example a six slotted BGDE would eliminate knockback on all powers that knock back, reducing them to knockdown. For each slot you slot you increase the chance of this occurring by 14% with the final BGDE providing the final 20%. Alternatively a Psionics Blaster would slot their BGDE to create a nonhiding placate effect that procs X number if times per minute based in how extensive they've slotted the BGDE. Only one BGDE type could be slotted per character, obviously. As in if you slotted a BGDE no others, of any type, could be slotted into any other powers because you can only slot these enhancements in BRAWL and you can't have six separate effects slotted throughout brawl. So you trade out on a series of enhancement bonuses and slots to add a special effect to your other attacks. Secondary effects such as endurance drain, fire DOTS (MOAR DOTS), slowing, stun mag, and so forth. Again, we would have to be careful here and balance it conservatively .. but the possibilities with such a system are incredibly exciting.
  6. And this man provides the truth. I'm going to expand on this...
  7. This is correct. This would be undone in PVP zones or even might not apply to other viewers... but if nothing else *I* don't want to see that nonsense.
  8. I wasn't restricting it to the same zone. I'll edit that for clarification. I was thinking the ability to teleport anyone from anywhere to your location.
  9. Here's how you repair the teleport power pool: 1. Recall Friend/Foe: Combine Recall Friend and Teleport Foe into one and functions based on who is being targeted. 2. Baleful Teleport: A Lethal Damage Snipe (doesn't become instant cast when used in combat). 3. Teleport, except you hover for 20 seconds and fall instantly on movement. 4. Group Teleport teleports your team to your location *from any location*. May not be applicable *in missions*.. but maybe? 5. Long Distance Teleport operates as it does currently but also optionally teleports you to mission.

  11. At this stage then instead of.. "making it inherent" why not reduce recharge times across the board? Because the argument is being made that people want to use their fun stuff more often. That seems like an excellent reason for the development team to reduce recharge times.
  12. This is why I point to D&D as a great example. Healing is the *least* efficient manner of keeping someone alive.
  13. Did you read my suggestion? First, because there are clear mind like powers that are AoE. Force Field's Bubble Toggle serves many of the exact same functions as Clear Mind.
