just came back from the 8 year break and I was trying to pick a melee archetype. while looking at the forums I noticed that there's not a lot of talk about DB on the melee pages (Brute, tanker, scrapper, or stalker) it was one of my favorites from when the servers were live so I'm wondering if something happened while I was away? Is DB not really usable on any archetype or is it better on one but not the rest? also what armor goes best with DB? I was thinking invuln but i almost feel like I need the damage aura.

dark melee - has both a heal and a end siphon. also soul noir appeals to my ascetic. dual weld - whats better than one sword? TWO SWORDS! also great tool kit, multiple combos that do a range of buffs/debuffs beyond that i've just always had a thing for kick boxers (i blame Tifa), so street justice, martial arts, and savage melee.
