Johnny Dynamo

Hey all, created an Elec/Shield Brute, but not able to access Mid's on my MacBook. Can someone please help with a solid build? I don't mind the expense of the build. I'm just looking for the best resistance and damage combo to be able to tank EB's and possibly AV's. I get that some feel this should be a Scrapper, and it depends on how I play. I've landed on this and just need some assistance with the build. I'm excited to see what others have found successful. 🙂

So far, so good, but DAMN this toon is an endurance hog. I haven't yet slotted the purples. I'm hoping that'll make a difference. 🙂

I've searched for Information on how to make that work, but some of it surpasses my understanding. I'll have to really dig through that and see what I can decipher. Thanks! I took your build and made several swaps for ranged attacks, so I'll see what I can piece together and go from there. 🙂 I appreciate the insight!

And of course I asked, and then was like "duh!", lol. I tend to prefer ranged, but this looks very solid. Any ideas for swapping into Blazing Bolt and/or other ranged ...? I tend to prefer a more ranged approach. I like what you've done, but I can't use Mid's on my Mac to play around with it.

Wow, great build!!! I prefer to have flight, so guessing it'd be okay to swap combat jumping for Hover. What would you swap out to add Fly and possibly Afterburner? (Sorry, I can't access Mids on my Mac... 😞 )

Already level 50, understand the powers, and have my preferences (saw the you (!) reference above). Curious to see what others have chosen specifically for an elec/elec Dominator, and of course see how enhancement slotting can work in those powers. I cannot access Mids is all. It's helpful to compare and contrast what I like with what others have selected/built. 🙂

I can't get Mid's to work on my Mac, so I'm hoping there are some builds folks are willing to share. I remade an old toon and want to be effective while having solid defense. 🙂

Any suggestions for an elec/elec Dominator build?

I remade a toon that is a Rad/Rad Corruptor, but I am unable to get Mid's to work on my Mac to do this myself. I'm hoping to find an effective build out there that I can make my own. Anyone have any suggestions to share?

I have installed both Wine and Homebrew (I think). I'm not able to see Winetricks because it's not secure and my Mac stops me from going there. Clicking Installer (Main) and Installer (Alt) get me a download .exe file, but I'm unable to run it. I was hoping one of the programs above would help. The URL is not found for the two links for the ZIP files. Can anyone share some simple step by step instructions on how to do this on a Mac? I must be overlooking something.

I'm having the same challenge. I'm using Island Rum, and I did (finally) successfully move Island Rum into the Applications folder. Island Rum is launched and says "Ready To Play" with a filled blue progress line and a blue arrow to the bottom right. It shows in small print "Catalina Version 040520202" above that arrow. When I click the arrow, a green check mark appears and it says "Launching Homecoming (64-bit)" above the blue progress line. That lasts about 10 seconds and then nothing happens and it reverts back to ready "Ready To Play". I've never gamed on my MacBook and relatively new to this (Windows user for years). I'm using macOS Catalina 10.15.4. Anyone have any useful suggestions to share?
