Got Knight Errant today for the Paladin kill! And making solid progress through the various Arena badges for rated matches, but my 2nd account highest badge helper character is only lvl20. I may need to recruit a lvl50 in-game to assist. Hopefully there are some likeminded badgers in need.

1426! Got the popmenu badge tracker mod thing working, which was really helpful in figuring out which ones I was missing (both the easy and hard ones). Ground my way through the gladiator arena stuff, a few easy ones I was missing (Chatterbox, Denial of Service). Need to see about the Praetorian Zone Events (for Laureate, Protester, and Takedown Artist badges). I'm hoping they can be done with a lvl50 for ease of getting'em. And the Brickstown Freakshow event for Probation Denied and Valet - gotta see about that event, not sure what you do for it. And it looks like I need to try to get the various skiing badges...which might be hard, I was never good at that. And I hope you can get those year-round now. Not sure. But lots of progress, getting there! 🙂

Making some good progress again - believe I'm at 1419, with a few more about to come in soon. Been making the push on some of the PvP ones (just not the AV kills - going to need to try to assemble a team of like-minded badgers for those, I fear...). Think I'm going to fiddle with the badge tracking items listed up above, see if any of them can give me some clarity on what I'm still missing.

Trying to get a feel on the best way to do the RV badges. I grab a heavy and do as many pillboxes as I can stand in a go. I don't think the pillbox badges will be too hard, just a bit of a grind - but is there a better way to get a heavy, dismiss it quickly, and get another one? I tried the "dismiss" command, but it doesn't seem to actually cause them to go away. And, of course, I'm dreading trying to summon and defeat the various AVs and Heroes for the badges. Might need to try to pull together a team of like-minded badgers for that task.

These badge trackers looked a little more tech-heavy than I was expecting. I still think I can handle them, but it might take some tinkering. I'm usually just tech-savvy enough to get myself INTO trouble first, and then OUT of that trouble with additional tinkering. I do appreciate you pointing them out to me, though.

Good tip on that Swiss Draw thing, man, appreciate it. 1408! Got my MSR badges wrapped up, and someone was very kind and taught me the run-through of the SBB. It looks like it just awards all the role badges at once now? I got'em all after I just ran as the hitter. I'm getting concerned, though - I tallied up what I think I have left, and I don't think it'll actually run up to 1500. I need to work the iTrials for the "master of..." badges, and a few of those strike forces/task forces that'll give it. But even then, it looks like I might fall about 40 short. I'm wondering if I'm missing a big group of badges somewhere, somehow. I grabbed all history, all explore, all Ouro, all WW, all the anniversary badges, all event badges (so far), all gladiators (I think...although I haven't run any gladiator MATCHES yet), virtually all of the defeats (...Paladin and Hami buds...), all the basic SF/TF completes, all Day Jobs. What am I missing, other than (ick) PvP? I grabbed the ones I easily could there, with the mission completes in the particular zones. Still need to grab the pillboxes and heavies in RV, but that doesn't actually end up being too difficult, even soloing. Also still need to grab DFB and DiB badges. What am I missing?

1364! Cleared out the Incarnate CoT and Tsoo Ancestor Spirit badges this morning. I think I'm going to have to dip into the PvP/Arena/Gladiator match ones. I dislike that stuff intensely, but I think it'll have to be done if I want to hit 1500. I managed to already get a couple of the arena ones that require assistance with a few other badgers, but I might need to go try to control Heavies and such in RV, match myself up against myself in my 2nd account, etc. I think there's a few badges for just doing the contact missions in the PvP zones, so I'll pursue that, too. Looking forward to the bump I'll get in my number from the May anniversary badge haul.

1355! Nearly done with all the Mayhems. 4/10 Arson side missions, but I know where the one in Peregrine mayhem is now, so that won't take too long. And I pulled in the Vandal badge this am. Need to still keep whackin' the citizens, though. 1000 of them is a lot. Daily Rikti raids are getting me some progress on Master At Arms and Demolitionist, but I occasionally manage to miss a kill/click for one or the other during a raid. Progress is slowing, but still there. I hear that you can purchase all the back Vet yearly badges when the Anniversary event happens, so that'll pull in around 17 badges then (if it's true). And when I punch out the LRSF, I should get a bunch of badges for Freedom Phalanx defeats, plus the Recluse's Right Hand badge (already did all 4 patron arcs all the way through). So...onwaaaaaards! For glory! For badges! For the 1500!

Yup, just got the Whip Cracker one through that. Sounds like I might need to either dig a little more on one to use in the upper level range, or use a 2nd account to get another toon into the correct level range to get the Eye of the Storm mission, though.

Thought this might be helpful, too, on 2 badges that I had trouble tracking down info for (going to go try to get'em shortly): Whip Cracker: Lvl20-29 alignment mission named Eldritch Summoning Script, Villain/Rogue side will pop the one needed up to lvl50, apparently. Eye of the Storm: Not sure on level, but it's apparently a Hero/Vigilante side one, look for either Destroy the Bomb Triggers or Recruitment Flier. These are the ones for defeating Desdemona and Maelstrom, respectively. Good luck, fellow badgers! 🙂

Managed to pull in the Master of Tinpex ones tonight, with the help of a good group leader. But yeah, I feel you on the content stuff. This game is just LOADED with goodies. Easy to blow by them if you're speedrunning everything.

Ooooooh, found a good trick to get a tough one - the Mu Guardians defeat 100 badge. Turns out that the 3rd Scirocco arc has a mission that is an easy map, with 4 "Mu Traitors" on it that are Mu Guardians. Set it to 0/1, no bosses, trot it and pop just the 4 Mu Guardians. Exit to character select, rinse repeat until you get the number needed for the badge. It's not super pleasant, as you have to repeat a lot - but it's easy, safe, and seems like a good way to get this badge. I was having trouble finding enough of them out in the open world areas, and they seemed to only be found in decent numbers in particular maps/missions. Anyway, hope that helps some other badgers. Also lucked into a Caleb group the other morning, so that was nice. That stupid badge is a rough one to get, too. Onwaaaaaards! For glory! For 1500 badges!

1323 currently! Managed to stumble onto a Caleb team and get that one punched out. Progress is definitely slowing, but I'm still hopeful that I can make it to 1500 total without TOO much difficulty. Missed one on a Mr. G arc, but I can Ouro it if necessary. Sitting at vet level 80. Onwaaaaards!

Still churning, but a FL beach trip (responsibly, of course - I'm a microbiologist) delayed things a bit. At 1305 right now, after a quick BAF that earned me 2 of the 4 badges there, and alllllmost completing the last of the Ouros badge-getting steps in the 50 range. Still need to punch out the actual flashbacks in the 50 range, but once I do, I can head back to Hero alignment, getting that badge for coming full circle. So....progress! Slow, agonizing progress - but some fun doing it all, anyway. 🙂

Got waylaid a bit by a case of altitis, but I'm back at it! I like the order of completion that Glacier suggests, although I've already done a few out of that order so far. I'm currently on redside Ouros stuff, in the late 30s rounds. Going to complete all flashbacks redside before returning to blue as a vigilante (already completed all blue and gold flashbacks). Then I think I'll start messing with some of the easier to get PvP badges. I dislike PvP intensely, but I may need to suck it up and just do it if I want to hit 1500. The vet levels and various defeat ones I'm still lacking should come through from that stuff, I figure, over time. The main one I'm worried about is the 1B influ badge. I'm struggling to hit the 500M one (at around 375M so far), so a whole other 500M is going to take some major grinding, I fear. I really, really wish that AE influ pulls counted towards that one - it's a BIG one to try to earn. Anyway, onwaaaaaaards!!!!!

I should probably put in this thread a link to the forum post on the Ouro badges. I wish I'd have seen it sooner. It's a little bit of a grindfest, but 70+ badges once you push through it all. That's like gold to a hardcore badger like me. Here's the link to what I found to help out on it:

30-34 redside Ouros stuff completed now. Think I may spend some time later this week punching through the Mayhem missions for some easy badges. Looks like there's ones for smacking citizens, and for wrecking cars. And I recently discovered there's a whole slew of Ouros badges I wasn't getting, because I'd been doing all arcs on the default no-limitations set-up. I'm going to need to revisit some particularly easy arcs to grab those badges. The good news is that it looks like there's a fair number there, so they should be moderately easy to plow through and pick up. Also looking forward to the anniversary event and picking up the various yearly badges. Onwaaaaaaaaards!!!!!

Yeah, altitis is a problem and impediment to proper badging. 🙂 Lemming, that's IMPRESSIVE. I'm a hair under the 1250 mark now. Punched out Barracuda and Mortimer Kal. Also realized that I can apparently get 2 badges instead of 1 for completion of the Shauna Braun arc in different ways, so I'll revisit that one when I finally move back to blueside. I'm in the middle of the 30-34 redside set in Ouros, so it'll still be a bit. All the patron arcs are going to take some time. Oh, and I managed to figure out that the ??? one in my Gladiators set is for Mu Guardians, so I can gradually pop that one, too. Progress. Onwaaaaaaaards!!!!!

Lunch, I've got most of the ones in those trees - just missing the topmost ones. Maybe part of it is the invuln? I don't take as much damage overall? And katana is fast, but not as big of a hitter as broadsword or mace, for instance. I'll get'em, though. Just takes some time and farming through CoT minions smackin' me while I Rest for long periods, and leaving autofire on a certain Ouro mission to farm damage dealt overnight(s). 🙂

Hullo, all, Just generally sharing. My goal is to get to 1500, but not necessarily to get ALL the badges in the game. So I'm at a smidge over 1200 so far on my main, favorite character, Neoblade (Excelsior server). Currently at vet level 67. Kat/invuln scrapper. All history badges done. All exploration badges done. Most of the defeat badges completed. Fully completed all blueside content through Ouro, as well as all goldside content. Currently working my way through redside content, just about done with the lvl20-24 range arcs. I did some stuff to complete some of the harder/longer badges - got all the healing badges, the mentoring ones, the held/mezzed ones. Still working on influence, damage taken, and damage delivered badges, but getting there on them, too. Also have all the reject inspiration badges and the reject 500 recipes badge (still working on the reject 1k recipes badge). Even managed to get all the AE badges, including that 8-man testing a mission one. All Day Jobs completed. Got all the Halloween, Holiday, and Spring Fling badges. Will grab the yearly badges when they come up again in the annual anniversary thing. Still need to come full circle on alignment, but that'll have to wait 'til redside Ouro content is done. Have done ALL Safeguard mission stuff, but need to still do the Mayhem mission stuff. Think I have all strikeforce/task force badges, except for LRSF and Barracuda. Oh, and the first treespec. I could probably use some guidance on SBB, DFB, DIB, and iTrials - haven't really messed with any of that yet, and I hear there's badges there to be had. Also, a few ???? badges (one I know is the 'talk to people' one in the Marchand arc, but another is a gladiator badge I can't seem to figure out. Any and all advice on those items appreciated. Badgers, unite! 🙂

Back here as well - did discover that there WAS a pending Windows patch, so I figure my issue was either that or the backbone in Dallas thing someone mentioned (I'm in AR, it'd make some sense, I suppose). But issue resolved for me, good luck with the rest of you, too! 🙂

Of course, a shiny nickel says that when I wait a bit, this problem ends up resolving itself somehow. Still, here goes: Basics: Win10 64bit, laptop with a mobile GPU, forget the exact make of processor/GPU, but both are well within basic specs for the game. Playing this am on Excelsior redside, no issues, suddenly got mapserved. Couldn't reconnect. Tequila will open (shows "error retrieving shard status" at the bottom), can get to login page, can't get past that point to server selection page. Server status here on the forums seems to be fine, my internet connection itself is fine. Can still surf around/get to other pages, so internet hardware seems okay. Reboot. Same issue. Verify Tequila. Same issue. Try making sure I don't have any pending updates or anything. Nope. All good there. Anyone have any thoughts/ideas? Given that the server status page is showing green lights, and numbers are fluctuating there, I'm thinking it's something on my end. The odd part is the internet connection being okay, and this suddenly happening specifically to CoH only. Makes me think it's something more out of the ordinary, a little trickier to diagnose and repair. 😕
