Thank you very much for your comments and help. Very educational. Doing more research on the subject, on youtube, paragonwiki, and here, i'm sorta getting the feeling that water blast/storm summoning might not be the best set combination to create the character I want. Basically I am looking to create a hero who's powers focus on water, and water blast/storm summoning looked to be the obvious choice. However seeing that the colors of powers can be changed now to appear like other things, maybe selecting other power sets and altering their effects to more look like water might be the way to go. What do all of you think? Perhaps dark blast/dark miasma would look good as water if the color was changed around (even those skulls couldn't be)? Maybe even using the energy blast power set? Or even using ice manipulation, even though I dpn't care for ice in general. What do you think? Is even making pure looking water based character possible, depending on how one changes the colors of it? I'd really like to know. 🙂

I was wondering if anyone here has experience with a water blast/storm summoning corruptor, and could give me the rundown on its strength, weaknesses, and how good it is on a team and playing it solo. Thank you in advance. 🙂

Hello Homecoming 🙂 I just joined, and was unsure where to introduce myself and say hi (hi), so please forgive me if this is not the place to do it. I am a old time player of CoH when it was live (I joined between issue 3 & 4 and left in 2008 just before issue 12), but was forced to leave due to medical reasons. I LOVED the game, and played mostly on the Freedom server (if I remember right). And while I played many heroes (mostly), I was noted as playing a level 50 DM/INV hero named T'rel. And while not the best, I was one of the more noted and powerful dm/inv heroes online. t'rel looked like a humanoid black dragon (with wings) who had a fiery aura around him. I was also part of the Conglomerate supergroup, and was called "T", the Golden dragon, and the heroes hero sometimes too. T'rel was also a tanker like scrapper who could dish out damage like no one's business (dm/inv rocks lol). And the Rikti feared him! lol I'm saying all this because I was wondering if there is anyone from the Conglomerate here (like Tigrix for example) and if anyone recognizes me :). it's going to be a while before I can actually play again, but I plan to, so i'm doing research on all the big additions & changes in the game since I left. CoH IS the best game in the world, with the best players and community and it I love it that the game is still running (way to go guys! You all rock!). And I figured Homecoming is the best place to start. anywho, I guess i'll leave it at that for now. I'm overjoyed that CoH's is here, and that I can be here with all you great people. Please post and say hi, let me know how dm/inv is now, and let me know of anyone frpm the Conglomerate is still around. 🙂 peace and keep on rocking! p.s: btw, have there been any other scrapper here that was able to take down Adamaster alone with just a healer beside him? Just adking, cause T'rel did during live. God that was fun! lol
