  1. Here we have a sentinel that uses stealth to boost its defense values and the -to hit from the Dark Blast set make it even more effective. This is supposed to be a very durable damage dealer. Damage dealt is slow. There is no comparison with blasters, this will not approach blaster damage but it should offer consistent damage while staying alive. consistent hard target / damage. I got Air Superiority to dunk any fliers who want to make it a melee fight. Really this is just a spare slot, do whatever you like with it. Dark Blast might be better than Gloom at high levels because gloom doesn't stack, I dunno. Is there a way to get more defense or resistance out of this without gimping its output, such as it is? Why dirty tricks? Because the Stealth* makes you nearly invisible on the screen. To everyone else you look you aren't even there. Where did that slacking sentinel go? Who shot my mob?! *Please stealth responsibly

Well I wanted to get a sturdy scrapper with plenty of healing. I wanted to be the last guys standing AND do damage. The gimmick here is in Kick. That force feedback IO with the chance for recharge+ is a monumental recharge increase. It makes perma haste, it brings Shadow Meld to 1 second of down time, it turns this build into a defense machine. But it is just a gimmick. Without it everything is ho hum and why did you spend so many slots for no real benefit you silly scrapper. Is there a better way, is there a better build? I am not dissatisfied with Bio exactly, it plays a lot like regen. Strong right up until it gets overwhelmed and then it folds instantly. And I'm not into shield defense even though I know it is a great secondary, probably better than bio for face-tanking groups. Still, I was hoping the -to hit for dark along with the elevated defenses would help survive hard single targets like bosses or AVs. Looking for strong defenses without giving away all damage. Don't think haste is the way to go? Whats your direction? What do you think?
  4. So this is my Street Justice – Rad Armor build. And its janky. I ran out of slots trying to get perma-haste such that the long recharge survival armor power into spammable range, but alas no such luck. I still think the haste helps with some secondary survival powers and a few offensive powers at high levels. As usual, I am trying to keep the cost down by skipping purples and going for more reachable yellows and orange sets. What I am interested in is how would YOU do this. Points No need for movement power, I can temp power around if I need to No purples Solo capable, so enough recovery to power offense and defense Enough haste to get radiation therapy to around 10-15 sec recharge, Crushing uppercut to around 6 seconds recharge But feel free to break any of those, they are just suggestions.   6. Okay that's useful. Feel free to post alternate builds that you think might work better. Super Jump is fine, I just need to be able to go up somehow and not be stuck behind a wall fumbling with temp powers. What if we take perma-haste off the table? Mostly I was trying to get Rune of protection into spamming range but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. Maybe I don't need the medicine pool, I dunno, I never said I was good at this. I'm just trying to pad my survivability because the longer I can stand there the more dangerous I get. So yeah, let me see what you have, I would love to have a path that works better.   7. I was looking for a Dark/Dark brute and the internet had been letting me down, so I made my own. But its not great… Is Dark Armor just not great? Is it not great on brutes? I was looking for something thematicly dark and I did have some caveats in mind when I put it together. Have an actual z-axis travel power (none of that combat jumping business) Have soloing in mind (I expect to do a lot of that) Build on a budget (No purples) Perma-haste (because its good? Maybe?) Why Aid other? For Aid self. Why Aid Self? To Stay alive and to carry that nifty preventative medicine set. I skipped Soul drain imagining that if I stand there long enough, I would not have to worry too much about +Damage and +Accuracy but that Endurance was going to get me down. I went for Soul Mastery because It seemed to fit and added a little bit more damage. Sorcery gave me a flight and teleport all in one. Arcane bolt just mules a +recharge. Rune of protection was going to be the “I win” button but it will spend most of its time on cooldown. Its great when its up and ehhhh when its not. All in all, I have no idea how this will work out, but it looks a little ratchet on paper. If anyone has any better ideas for a Dark/Dark brute that also maintains the provisos above then hit me, I am all digital ears. Thanks
