  1. I played Elder Scrolls Online for awhile and got addicted to the gambling boxes. The box rewards tended to repeat in a non-random fashion. Someone figured out that you could 'reset' sometimes, by switching to a different zone, including your house. You waited til you got the Special drop and if you reset after that, often you might get another one. I've known for awhile that the Converters from Special Salvage had similar issues. Whole 'random' sequences would repeat, I'd get the exact same Enhancement five times in a row, I'd try converting Enhancements within their own set and just go back and forth between the same two, wasting so much Merits and Influence. Nothing like random. I thought there might be a similar 'reset' fix. I tried switching zones, but nothing. The Help Channel suggested it might be linked to my global name but no one knew of any tricks. So I tried switching between two Enhancements to convert, first one, then the other. They'd follow each others pattern sometimes, but often I started getting sequences to with more variety. It worked and I'm so relieved. Anyway, I hoped this might work for other people too. 😊
  2. I just ran this in Live. I used the non-spoiler complaints as warnings and took my minmaxed Brute to play it on minimum settings. It was fun! I really enjoyed it. 😄I do agree its pretty tough though, with my groups seeming to be mostly all lieutenants. I'm not sure most of my other characters would be capable of doing it solo. Even my supertough toon needed to pull out a couple pets for the fight with upgraded Cortex. I really enjoyed the mechanics, but it would probably be a nightmare running it blind first time with a team with Confusion running rampant. The difficulty even on minimum did slow me down and I lost focus on completing it, so it took me a few days. It is not something I would do on every toon or repeat much. I wished there was more to the Freakshow inclusion. Their characters were among my favorite and I was sad when they were gone. I was never sure who was controlling the Zoombies. None of the regular Embalmed ever exploded for some reason, even after I started leaving them last to see if they would. The only thing I wish were changed is the Wasting Disease wasn't obvious--I had to check my buffs. I wish it had an actual aura to make it more noticeable, and if you used a temporary restorative like the medical destructibles or the air blasts, the aura visibly lessened or went away. It felt too mechanical to check buffs to see if I had a buff or debuff currently. Looking forward to doing the Redside sequel...
  3. I read the first page of replies and agreed with most of the ideas. I'm against more hard mode but more options sounds good. Frankly, I wish that it was necessary for everyone on a team to agree to difficulty settings. Instead, too often an incarnate is leader and their settings make everything unhittable for un-minmaxed lowbies or they find everything trivial. Its been suggested to add a reward for disabling incarnate status on task forces, and I agree. This would encourage more teams closer in ability. A universal server/zone/LFG teleporter function that incarnates from every shard can go to for Super Mega Hard Way itrials (and maybe PVP) sounds ideal. It answers the problems of a small player base that desperately wants that content. I would like the Ouroboros flashback system opened up so that teaming was easier. Also, so that, if you wanted, you could do Alternate Universe Versions where you retain your level. I work hard to get to incarnate, some powersets mature late, and I'd like to play with full power. This would raise the level of the flashbacked enemies so that this Alternate Timeline mission takes place at a point when you were your current level, et cetera. People joining the mission should receive a warning and need to agree. Allowing AE missions with underwater or outer space maps where people automatically float would be the closest thing to new zones. Back on Live, we were limited in AE missions we could create. If that limitation is still there, expand it. Or create a new form of AE story builder that isn't such a burden on the servers. And has easier searchability. I know thats a tall order, but AE offers eternal creativity, much like the tailor, and one of the draws of this antique game. Pie in the sky, I'd like a PVP/AE mission creator, where we create the missions and order the opposition to fight while chatting.
  4. I tried and failed to edit someone else's popmenu. Code is difficult for me.
  5. Right now, its most convenient to use my old enterbasefrompasscode macros when next to a base teleporter, in order to get to my base or someone else's base that I have a macro for. One click, rather than one click+Your Base or one click+Fill Out The Passcode. I would like the LRT to retain base passcodes, possibly allowing renaming so that Tropical-98237948298 becomes 'Bob's Tropical Island', for example. This would be an improvement on the old very, very convenient enterbasefrompasscode and encourage roleplay and community by visiting bases that people work so hard on but rarely get seen because recording passcodes somewhere is annoying.
  6. I just downloaded the new launcher and it says READ THE WINTER EVENT PATCH NOTES 😵so I tried and...nothing at link? Unsure if new launcher issue or no content issue yet. Will keep looking!🧐
  7. During yesterday's 10pm EST Rikti Mothership raid, the entire league mapserved and the whole zone (league, mothership, pylons) all became 'reset' to about 10 minutes previous. Merits that had been rewarded vanished, people who'd leveled suddenly de-leveled, people who'd switched builds found themselves in earlier builds. Despite having been brought down for about 5 minutes and people managing to return in about a minute, the Mothership shield was back and all pylons respawned. The league was rebuilt and managed to successfully complete a second raid attempt, but it seemed worth bringing to your attention.
  8. Same. :( This might be how NCSoft kills Homecoming. Guess its time to look into the other private servers.
  9. Yes, thank you! It takes a moment to appear, so I'd already looked away. Double checked and they do show up.
  10. Seconding desire to see these re-uploaded somewhere.
  11. Hey, PK, just downloaded this. While some of the mods offered are familiar, I don't recognize every one and don't know what they do. I was wondering if there could be a brief explanation section?
  12. I want to create a macro to summon my Blue Wisp Pet and have it appear next to me. I can't find any guidance specific for buff pets. None of the Mastermind or Lore command suggestions seem to work.
  13. Someone casually suggested the 8 clones for the badge so I thoughtlessly tried it. Me, a Mastermind. The army of eight masterminds and all their pets charging at me blasting felt like I was doing a Rikti Mothership Raid, and I was the only one who came..
  14. I'd like recommendations for the redside story arcs, and which contacts lead to them. No spoilers please, but roughly why and what type of story it is (for characters who prefer horror or silliness). If there is already villain story recs, please link! I've played Mongoose story arc many many times, but fighting a villain named "S'thaco" (from old D&D THAC0 rules for hitting, put in as an in joke by an old D&D writer) always makes me smile, for instance.
