  1. The first thing I noticed is that Exploration Medals no longer give XP. Seriously, Admins; this is poor management and it is not how to deal with the public. You never, ever, ever take things back that people have gotten used to having. You just don't; it's bad public relations. It's better to flat out say "no" than to take something away, even if you think giving them something else will make up for it. It will not. Once people have something, leave it alone. No matter how trivial it may seem to others, it is not trivial to them.
  2. Is there a way to move SG bases to other servers? Our own player group has about six SG bases, some of them award winners, and we really don't want to have to re-create them. If there was a way for people to transfer their bases as easily as their characters, I think a lot of people would be willing to relocate to other, less-populated servers to lighten the loads. Just a thought...
  3. That would help a little, but the body proportions are off a bit, too. If the Costume Creator could modify those, that might work. But wouldn't it just be easier to put in an option for the "immature Paragon Protector" sized body? It's already correctly proportioned, just small. 🤷‍♂️
  4. Request to the Developers: Some of us would like a "mini" costume which is proportional, rather than the "Funko/bobble head". The immature Paragon Protector clones in the Doc Buzzsaw story arc are an example of the size and physical proportions we'd like to be able to purchase with Prismatic Aethers. Not asking to replace the current mini; we'd just like the option for a more realistic body style. If this is possible, could we please have a Dev weigh in and let us know?
  5. Reviving this thread here in the Suggestions section... Perhaps a Dev could weigh in and let us know if there is a good reason why we can't have proportionally-correct small characters, like the "Mini Paragon Protectors" in the Doc Buzzsaw arc.
  6. EDITED: Constructive criticism had me tweak this adventure; the Arc ID number has therefore changed, as shown below. Sorry for any inconvenience. If you like a deep story AE experience, please consider my game "Sim-City: A Game to Die For" in AE. Arc ID: 54423 Keywords: Challenging, Custom Characters, Mystery Length: Very Long Morality: Heroic (but villains would like it, too) Description: '"GUMSHOE" is the top-rated MMORPG on the AE Network. It's the place to be anyone, do anything, fear nothing, because it's perfectly safe... Until it isn't. Find out who's turning the Happiest Place in Paragon City into a death trap.' NOTE: The written text and dialogue will be important in solving the mystery; take time reading it and PLEASE let me know where I messed it up so I can fix it! And, just for fun, try this adventure in 1930's versions of your characters' costumes to match the period setting. Thanks in advance for giving it a try.
  7. Oh, my friend, you don't know the half of it. Super Speed was nerfed way back in Live with the Galactically Stupid "Travel Power Suppression" nerf. Speaking as the guy who was accused of having invented "Jousting" in this game (and might have), I can tell you that there was a time when you could build a character as a Superspeedster and it played like a 6th Archetype (back when there were only five). Problem was, you had to get good at playing it that way, and people who couldn't be bothered complained that it wasn't fair that there was a powerset which could out-play button-mashing and macros if the player practiced it enough. Ah, well; water under the bridge. At least they raised the Top Speed on it back to the 120+ mph it was way back in Live. They nerfed that, too. In any case, if your complaint is about the change to how Super Speed's Stealth works, well, that's just one more insult to add to the injuries; frankly, I think Jake Emmert played "Villains & Vigilantes" and hated Super Speed in that game, too, so he ordered it nerfed in CoH before he left for greener, slower pastures. 😄 Believe me, the Devs here in Homecoming are doing a better job for us with Superspeedsters and showing us way more consideration than the Live team did. As least here, they actually listen. 🙂
  8. Sounds like something that would make the game, yet again, too easy. Besides, I like the drama of a felled-but-not-defeated minion getting back up as a "spoiler" that has to be dealt with. If that possibility didn't exist, the whole bit with Merry and the Witch King on the Pelennor Fields couldn't have happened. I'd always prefer the game err on the side of drama. 🙂
  9. I would be staggered to see anything happen which might allow players to accumulate more in-game money (Influence/Infamy). For whatever reason, the Devs seem to be fanatically opposed to anyone using the Market as a free market to get in-game rich. God only knows why. (Spare me the rationalizations posing as explanations; I've heard them all before.)
  10. My main quite literally lives (and dies) by his SR pool, and I'm pretty happy with it just as it is. It doesn't feel OP or overly expensive or underpowered. To me, it's one of the few "Goldilocks" sets in the game. Certainly, rather than take any chance it might be nerfed if tweaked, I'd much prefer that it be left alone. Just my two cents.
  11. Sorry if I gave the wrong impression in my previous suggestion post. I'm not asking the Mini-Costume be scrubbed in favor of a proportional version. The Baby New Year/Funko Pop/Bobbleheads are very cute and they look awesome on some characters. I'd just like to have the option of a smaller version of a character which is exactlly that; a smaller version of the character with the same proportions, like the "immature" Paragon Protectors. Perhaps this could be accomplished simply by letting our size sliders go to the same size as the Mini, say, one foot in height? On a similar note, "giant" characters could go to the same height as Incarnate Longbow or Banished Pantheon lore pets. This would let them be big but still operate in caves and small tunnels. If the slider suggestion is just a cosmetic change and would not affect gameplay it seems like an easy modification, but it's one I'd still be happy to have to spend Aether to get. Thanks for listening, Admins and Devs!
  12. I'd even be happy with just the costume feature, with or without attacks.
  13. My wife is still waiting for decent dresses on females; evening gowns, chong-sams, Empire-style. I don't even know what two of those are, but she does... 🙂🤷‍♂️
  14. It can be, sometimes, yeah. It looks great on you! But, like horns... it's not for everyone. 🙂
  15. I was. 🙂 I'd just like the option of a proportional size change. I wouldn't want anyone to be deprived of the Bobblehead look option, if they like it.
  16. I'd be fine with a secondary setting that was proportional. Either way. I'm just personally not a fan of the Funko Pop look.
  17. Just relax, okay? I don't think you understand what I said. What other people do with their time is their business. What I do with my time is my business, like whether or not I want to post in the forums my request for a minor change to a game option. I have nothing against interacting with other people. You don't mind, do you? I mean, I'm pretty sure I don't need your permission. For someone whose signature declares a dislike of bullying and harassment, you sure don't seem to have a problem leaping to the attack, yourself. Nobody's asking you to change.
  18. Yep, same here, maybe a "Modoc" type mutant. Well, who knows? Maybe the Devs will listen and implement our requests. I understand "giant" size is on the horizon, perhaps they'll implement it, then. 🤷‍♂️
  19. I already did it. 🙂 And, frankly, I'm really only concerned with myself; what others do is none of my business.
  20. First, thanks for implementing the Tier 2-4 costume options at the Holo vendor. As a request, could you change the "Mini" costume, to allow us to simply set the "Height" slider lower? Say to the same size as the "miniature Paragon Protectors" or a minimum of 1 foot high? This would allow us to have Mini characters with normal proportions. As it stands, 250 Aether is a high price to pay to get the proportions of a First Grader. 🙂 Thanks for all your hard work! Much appreciated!
  21. So, those of us who never farm and never have are punished because of exploitation by those who do? Yeah. That seems right. 🙄
  22. So why not continue to let them be converted into Reward Merits? 🤷‍♂️
  23. That’s why I said “beyond a certain point”. Like gold, they were an objective unit of value useful for Tier 3 and 4 Incarnate powers, Threads and Reward Merits. Once the bulk of characters had the Tier 3 and 4 powers they wanted, they were still useful for getting Reward Merits for many other things.
  24. THANK YOU, EXCRAFT. My point was, like a lot of people, I wasn't "abusing" anything, yet I have to take the hit for a handful who might have been doing something which, in the end, really affected no one but them. This change reads a lot like the removal of double Inf for sacrificing XP. It seems people accumulating lots of game currency is somehow objectionable to them. Otherwise, I don't understand why the Devs feel they need to keep changing the rules of the market, unless somebody is an economics major and is using it as a model for a thesis on economic controls. If that's the case, then speaking as someone with over 40 years' experience in that area, let me save them some time: Don't.
