  1. I am doing a new Ice/Stone tank. I took Icicles as one of the powers and am not sure the most effective way to slot it. As I see it, there are three options: 1. Proc Monster (fill it will procs like -res from the PvP set, the Perfect Zinger damage proc, Overwhelming force chance to knockdown, etc etc etc). 2. Go for set bonuses (like Obliteration) 3. Slot minimally because the slots are better used elsewhere What is the general thought on this? I have it slotted for procs, but I look at the damage numbers and do not see much happening. Any feedback is welcomed. Thanks!
  2. I was also on the all Def DD. As you said, it was silly easy. And the all Rad ITF was me.
  3. I run a lot of themed task forces (99% ITF because it is reasonably fast and everyone knows it) on Everlasting. By themed I mean things like all one AT (Blaster, Defender, etc) or all one type of toon (all Electricity, all Fire, etc). I find these types of teams often do much better than a standard PUG. My favorites are usually all Def/Corr or all Electric (especially since the update to electric blast). Does anyone else enjoy doing these and if yes, what are you favorites to run and what have you found that really works well and don't work particularly well? This week is ITF week, but I think I want to try others. One thing I do want to do is setup an all Corruptors team Vs. and all Defenders team to run a +4 ITF (kill most) race to see who finishes first. Still trying to figure out how to do that without going crazy. Any ever done anything like this?
  4. 53 here, old enough to know not to start a long TF after 9:30 pm... 🙂
  5. I do not have a dedicated "sapper" (I tried with an elec Melee and it failed horribly, no need to tell me it was a wasted effort), however... If you get a team together and 3 or more have sapping powers, it is quite fun to just steamroll through everything because almost everything has an empty end bar. This is especially true in an ITF where the damn cyclopes cannot go into MOG (or whatever the heck they do) and die MUCH faster. Also, there is something really satisfying in seeing an AV just stand there because they have no End to do anything...
  6. I use daggers for most of my characters when I run the early TFs (Posi 1, 2, Synapse, and Citadel) solo. Using them usually provides enough -regen for the midlevel toon to take out the AV in a reasonable amount of time. As a previous poster noted, using all available tools.
