I suggested something similar last month. It really needs to be a MOTD until we're funded.

Hmm, if everyone who plays who hasn't donated yet chipped in $1.50, we'd meet the goal easily!

I checked a couple weeks ago; it looks like Paypal and credit card fees are roughly equivalent. Theoretically, we could mail them paper checks, but I don't think they'd want to broadcast a mailing address... unless HC got a PO box, of course.

Recommend adding a system MOTD alerting players that the donation window is open. I bet there's a bunch who have no idea.

A lot of folks might be afk because of Thanksgiving weekend... Hopefully there's no problem wrapping it up tomorrow.

On the character select screen, add a little (optional) meter or % indicating how much patrol XP that toon has saved up, for those of us who like to eschew playing a toon until they have a full patrol stack.

In Founder's Falls, I got two aggro statements from Earth Thorn Casters: "Kill these" (no punctuation), and "heroes" (no capitalization or punctuation).

There ought to be badges associated with donating. 🙂

In the epilogue briefing from Flashfire in part 3 of Pandora's box, mission "Imbalance of Power", there's a missing space between "unfathomable" and "Flashfire".

I know jack-all about running a non-profit... but I'm wondering if it would be possible to set up an interest-bearing account (like certificates of deposit or something), allow anyone to donate any amount at any time, and have anything not earmarked for the month's maintenance goes into said account. That gives us free(?) interest income, and slakes the maddening thirst that the players have for donating (yet, like me, are shut-out on a monthly basis).

Here's another idea which I'm using myself. I've decided what I would be comfortable donating on a monthly basis indefinitely. I didn't get to donate in May so I set the amount aside. I didn't get to donate in June either so I set that aside, so when July's window opens, I will have 3 months-worth of donation committed. If I still don't make it, then August's will be 4 months, and so on until I finally get to donate, however long that takes.
