I've been doing some deflation lately. I got over 1Billion inf in a month, following the standard guide with enhancements. I just got back into the game for real a couple months ago. after not playing since like 2006, so I am not a seasoned vet. That said, what maddens me, and creates a false distortion of the markets are stale buy and sell bids. this is probably particularly bad on Torchbearer, where I play, seeing as it is the original HC server. What I've done is buy a crap ton of recipes, converted to rares and just started selling them for 1 inf. I haven't done it with popular ones, as I still need the money, but when you add up the recipe fee, the salvage fees (minimal), crafting cost, converter (2-4) fees, I end up burning inf as the sales usually come in at a loss (not always though; a fair number of enhancements have low bids around 300k-500k, which is basically break-even/tiny-gain territory. I usually don't continue selling those when I get there). The harder part are the stale sell bids, as those can be ridiculous, and the market has actually been deflating since the initial nostalgia rush in 2019.

Thanks for the confirmation. My characters name was Country Feedback, and he was an evil gunslinger... And I am a fan of the REM song 🙂 Is there a Sonic/DP AT that is viable? Just to try and keep the concept going.

Just started one of these out on red side due to a character concept I came up with, but it seems like sonic secondary is mostly for team-based play?

Hi everyone! I played CoH off-and-on over a decade ago, and came back recently, so you can consider me a complete newbie! I am looking for some thoughts on this character that I have just gotten to level 8. I assume my next power is to pick Build Up, but I'm not sure. Also looking for any gotchas or further levelling tips. I know with DA, I need to be mindful of endurance usage, but anything else? (Note, the enhancement slots are empty because I was lazy and didn't bother to enter my training enhancements 🙂 ) Thanks for whatever advice you can give!

Should there be a disclaimer on the Intel HD line of integrated graphics? I am getting 1 fps(!!) with a ThinkPad X1 Carbon 4th Gen (2016) with i7 cpu, 16GB RAM, and an Intel HD 520 integrated graphics card. I have seen threads relating to issues with windows 10 and OpenGL and these cards, without any real solution. (on recommended settings in atlas park, and vsync off, I can get to 100 FPS as long as the camera is looking straight down... until some mobs or wandering cars show up, and then it drops to 1fps. Looking out at the horizon gives me fractional FPS, and the UI button response is laaaaaaaaggy.)
