  1. It really isn't that hard, probably why it bugs me when someone is just hella lazy about it. I saw some random reel or short about radioactive stones and gems yesterday, and found out Uranium is a darker silver color that would look neat with a uranium glass like green/teal secondary color on the Enforcer Heavy costume set covered in crystals So I made a Stone/Rad tank with an Enforcer Heavy base, made adjustments, swapped the powerset appearance with Crystal Minimal Tintable, and it looks Rad... after building it for the look I found out that powerset combo is a BEAST. Now I got a sweet little tankbot., all from a short video about rocks. It's just not hard.
  2. OP, you've been oddly quiet after your rant, did you catch a ride on the hammer, or you just hiding from the beautiful roasting you created? So, despite being a Generic, I too like all these other fine people, are laughing at this very silly complaint. Personally I was Gen'd about 3 weeks after original launch. Mine was for having a name that was Profane. Now, I don't think the B word (the one that means illegitimate child) is overly profane, but I knew it was a possibility and made my decision. It was a kid friendly game, I knew better, it was dumb, but I wanted to build a Hercules like toon, and not use the name. I agreed to the rules, and broke em, and got Gen'd. At the time they were so overwhelmed with stuff like "xX Wulver33n Xx" regen scrappers that I wasn't allowed to petition for a name change, and my Genericising was effectively permanent. Oh well, at least I wasn't banned? You did the same.... This community has been through a lot. We've almost lost the game multiple times to lawsuits from IPs that didn't want specifically what you were doing to happen. And yet here you are, doing, AND complaining about getting nerfed (and surprisingly not banned with the list you admitted to) for doing that exact thing. We did lose the game eventually for other reasons, and now we're all just happy to have it back. This is probably the nicest gaming community out here, and rarely does anyone in it tolerate ridicule of others.... BUT, now you're here, making a tantrum post about it???? You agreed to the rules, and broke em. You didn't get banned, Be happy, and enjoy the game. Don't break the rules, don't ruin this for everyone else. You won't find pity here. We don't want to lose this again.
  3. I am one of those 58 on Win7 32bit, and you are exactly correct. The laptop I play on is the same laptop I played on 12 years ago because my desktop is packed up with everything else I own in a storage unit. I just don't have the capability to purchase new hardware at this time. I can't really explain how awesome it is to just copy my old game data onto an external, and install HomeComing and get right back to it. On a side note, something weird happened with the Feb 20th and March 5th patches for the 32bit client. I could play 7 hours on an MM before the Feb 20th patch, but after I would Pagefile after about 30min. I went to support on Discord and found a thread where you were helping someone with an almost similar Corrupted Keyboard Profile problem, but not close enough. Luckily Michiyo showed up with a couple very old Win7 fixes, and we got a BCDedit memory reallocation command that mostly solved my issue. I did still get a crash, but only after 3.5 hours of heavy SGbase editing. 5 million points to Michiyo for being the most helpful support person I've talked to in years. The weird part is, after the March 5th patch hit, I read the notes and found that lovely bit at the bottom about 32bit fixes. So I decided to test it, and I waited till about 3 AM when Torch was at about 45 players, and total server count was less than 800 and loaded up my main, then loaded a second game instance. To my surprise my 14 year old dumpster fire laptop ran 2 copies long enough to create an Alt and do all my SG invites, AND I could actually play the game. So I left the second copy running and ran missions on my main until it crashed, but there was no crash. So the next night when total server pop was below 800, I multiboxed missions for 4 hours, on 1 box, that's a 14 year old dumpster fire milspec laptop, and it runs great! I don't know if there's any info or logs I can send ya to help, but yeah, I will help in any way I can, and gladly help stress test if ya ever need it. Whatever you all did, you fixed it. Like super fixed it. Ya'll are amazing.
  4. Wow that was fast. So a question popped into my head after it closed so quickly again. Is there no way to setup a trust so that donations could overflow one month and just pool for the future? Surely someone around here is an accountant that would know how to do this.
  5. If anyone stumbles in here looking for a builder that IS NOT the current version of Mids because they are not on a Win 64 bit system, the very first link will take you to old version the will run on 32bit, and is only sorta mostly out of date.
  6. Awe, I miss the TaxiBots I don't think I really used the service, but it's existence made me happy. Y'all were awesome.
