  1. Bumping this up in hopes of getting more feedback
  2. Yo, making a Savage Melee/Dark Armor stalker and kind of wanted to have their outfit be inspired by Evelyn from League of Legends... Anyone up to take a stab at it?
  3. So, planning out a new character (sorry I haven't been too active) and realized I had no idea what I want to for the AT and powerset XD So, Let's see what you all think would work: The Idea I had was: Uses nanotech to enhance their body. Has an ego, but still fights for good (and money) their tech may or may not be stolen lived on the streets prior to becoming a hero worked as a mercenary for a few years Tech origin (if it wasn't obvious :P) Male
  4. Hey ya all, I am a writer and I woke my first draft for a comic script a few days ago. Hoping to get as much feedback as I can so that I can start preparing it to present to an artist (once I get the funds to do so) link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1HqoxdJURX93Nzprbm-4PEDYemOi2DCNgu7tcz7its2E/edit
  5. So many great designs! Ended up picking @Mjolnerd's, but I loved all of them ❤️
  6. With my return to CoH, I've designed to do some changes to my characters. Resistance Arrow has been replaced with Commander Beta, leader of the Radiactive Defense Squad. However, there are a couple things about my current design that are bugging me: 1: I hate what I did with the color scheme here... for a special operations commander who specializes in dealing with radioactive super villains, the green/brown/yellow looks incredibly stupid. 2: I feel like I could've given him a little bit more armor in order to make his Technology origin a bit more prominent and clear in his design.
  7. Apologies for the late response. I was looking to do a mainly ranged set up focused on AoE damage, but I am open to try out a mixed set.
  8. Looking to get some feedback on this Archery/Atomic build I theorycrafted This Hero build was built using Mids Reborn 3.0.4.7 https://github.com/Reborn-Team/MidsReborn Click this DataLink to open the build! 9. This one I'm a bit more open to other interpretation. The concept is that he is a living shard of Paragon that actively defends all live sub-consciously. He commands the forces of nature (Stone Control/Savage Assault Dom) to detain and neutralize those that would do harm to others.
  10. Because I'm bored, I wanna know what the biggest meme archtype and powerset combinations are to role some toons (and suffer from alt-itis). Yes, I know that every powerset has it's strength and weaknesses... but I'm sure there are plenty of builds that are considered memey or worse than the rest. So, feel free to add anything that would be: 1: Considered generally bad or outclassed by other combos 2: Is counter intuitive or considered not a strong powerset combo 3: Extremely gimmicky 4: Can maximize knockback, since we know how much people love knockback
  11. As a player still relatively new to CoH and wanting to learn how to make builds, I have a few questions I'd like to ask: 1: How do you decide whether a T1 or a T2 is the stronger level 1 choice for your Primary 2: How do you approach T1s and T2s for Secondaries (Mainly Tankers and Defenders) 3: Do you always want to get your T9 powers? 4: How do you determine if a power is skippable for your current AT/Power Set combo?
  12. This is a thread for requesting costume help from other players. I believe you are looking for this thread:
  13. I feel like Hulk is more of a Brute than a Scrapper anyway
  14. Next on my line of requests is Johnny McStyle (renamed from Mikey McStyle). He's your typical overly cool guy who takes most nothing seriously. He a Magic Battle Axe/Regeneration Scrapper who made a deal with a demon to allow him to heal injuries rapidly and have "eternal life" in exchange for the souls of his enemies (A career ending secret if it were to get out). Currently he is a Famous Actor who does Hero work on the side. He also received minor martial arts training from Sir Grimly (My Dark/Fire Scrapper). Things I'd like included: -Some kind of mark on his visible skin to act as a reminder of his demonic contract. Something that he can play off as a "Tattoo" or "Birth Mark" but he can't hide (at least not easily). -It possible, I'd like to keep the biker coat, but I'm open to other tops -I sort've forgot to do this when I was first designing him, but a face with a shit eating grin is a must XD -Weapon has to be the Shovel
  15. Decided to take a stab at this, hope you like it. When with a Magic Beast/Sonic MM myself Howl.costume Howl.powerCust
  16. A question to all of those generous enough to help create costumes for everyone: Do you prefer when someone describes the concept and give you full freedom to design or when they give you a first attempt at the costume in order to give direction?
  17. I've never been one to use more than 1 costume slot :P
  18. Oof, now you have given me a hard decision to make, this is just as good as Shock's XD
  19. Hey, as long as you aren't hindering the enjoyment of others, play the game how ya wanna play it
  20. Here is my new Battle Axe/Regeneration Scrapper, Mikey McStyle. A man who secretly uses soul magic to regenerate his injuries, extend his youth and be a kickass hero all at the same time! He also fights with a shovel... was the only thing left in his shed lol
  21. If you knew that people were going to bash you for your opinion and knew that almost no one would agree with you, then why did you bother posting this? What compelled you to post this in the first place? Did you want someone to prove you wrong? Did you just want to try and uplift on controversy? Or do you just revel in hatred and arrogance? There was no reason for you to make a post about this topic, in this forum, surround by people far more accepting and understanding than you. If you wanted to post a controversial topic about a situation where you know that your opinion is not going to be received well, post it on Reddit, not here. The way I see it, all you are doing is wasting your time fighting a losing battle.
  22. 5 replies in and I already don't like the direction the conversation is going...
  23. Just some quality of life changes to how certain Kinetic abilities are applied, it's nothing too big
  24. This is a fun, fancy little thing I figured I'd do. Feedback and suggestions are welcome. Archery Damage Type: Lethal/Smashing/Fire Archtypes: Blaster, Corruptor, Defender, Sentinel Single Target Powers: 5 Area Of Effect Powers: 3 Buffs: 1 Utility: 1 Archery follows the thematic of precision, being the master of the bow and arrow. This theme gives Archery a small buff to the Accuracy stat of all of it's abilities, allowing you to hit your attacks more often than other powers. Users of Archery utilize a variety of aiming techniques, from steady Aimed Shots to recklessly firing a Fistful of Arrows. They are even fast enough and precise enough to fire a full Rain of Arrows into the sky to pour down upon their foes. Not to say an Archery user isn't without a few tricks. Not only has their aim been perfect to the point of reliably landing fast Snap Shots, but they also carry various gadgets to rig their arrows with. Grenades for a big Explosive Arrow (with non-lethal Stunning variants) and oil tipped arrows that can be ignited for a Blazing Arrow of death. As a Ranged set (and because it's makes sense), Archery have access to the iconic buff Aim, which increases their Damage and Accuracy for a short period of time. If you want to slay evil doers with the precise, calculated attacks from a distance... Archery is the way to go. Assault Rifle Damage Type: Lethal/Smashing/Fire Archtypes: Blaster, Corruptor, Defender, Sentinel Single Target Powers: 4 (5 for Sentinels) Area Of Effect Powers: 5 (4 for Sentinels) Buffs: 0 Utility: 1 The power of modern firearms fuels your ability to fight crime. As a user of a fully customizable Assault Rifle, you embrace the balance between precision and rapid shooting. Your rifle utilizes multiple modes of fire, from Burst to Slug rounds and even Full Auto. Don't let the in game model fool you, your rifle comes equipped with a specialized scope, increasing your Accuracy and allowing you to use your weapon like a Sniper Rifle. With your rifle in hand, you never were one to aim (Ironic, I know), but you did get some fancy attachments for your weapon. M30 grenades designed for your built in launcher attachment as well as a makeshift Flamethrower to Ignite your foes and send them scattered across the floor. You even figured out how to load Beanbags into your gun, 'cause why not? Whether you are precisely sniping people from range or spraying down hoards of criminals, you can always trust your Assault Rifle to get the job done. Beam Rifle Damage Type: Energy Archtypes: Blaster, Corruptor, Defender, Sentinel Single Target Powers: 5 (4 for Sentinels Area Of Effect Powers: 3 (4 for Sentinels) Buffs: 1 Debuffs: 1 Utility: 1 Thematically, Beam Rifle showcases the power of energized (and potential unstable) rays from a technologically advanced weapon. You quickly, or slowly, melt your foes with beams of energy with your Rifle that you fire with great precision. From Charged Shots to Piercing Beams, this rifle as plenty of firing modes to work with. The Beam Rifle shines, however, in Disintegrating foes and using your vapor to spread it's disintegrating element to others. How this rifle does this? Well, that's really your decision to make. And, as a Ranged damage set, Beam Rifle gets access to good old Aim, an ability that fits the precise nature of this laser of death and destruction. Looking to turn your enemies to dust? Our state of the art Beam Rifles got you covered. (More Power Sets will be added soon)
