Griefing and harming innocent people is the epitome of villainy, and so is being an asshole to people. How can you say griefing somebody isn't villainous? That's like saying: "Changing an overflowing-diarrhea-diaper isn't messy. It's the dry turds that take the most baby wipes to clean up."

I guess I should have named this post: "Villainy Against Other Players." I'm not talking about griefing lifeless NPCs here.

You sure do love putting words in people's mouths.

I want to see some features where you can actually be a real villain. This includes: #1: Earn a "true villain" power with a long mission or badge that grants you the ability to show up in Atlas park and actually murder roleplayers or other heroes chilling there. They literally have no say if they're in pvp mode or not. I mean, people don't know when villains strike in real life, so it only makes sense. #2: You have the ability to kidnap Heroes and hold them for ransom to their guilds. If the player is sold off they get to play again within 24 hours. If the ransom isn't met their character is perma dead. #3: This would make villains a lot scarier. It would make it where city of heroes is not just sitting around diddling yourself and basking in your cosmetic glory in sanctuary. You have to actually be careful and watch out like real life.

You need to toss in some poker and craps tables, slot machines, and a brothel to go with those neon lights you enjoy so much. Also, who are you to tell people how they should play the game?

You're playing with wild beasts that roar and pridefully hunt prey and you're expecting them to be quiet? I say you get out of your chair, get on all fours, and start growling at everybody and everything in your living space be it animated or inanimate! Become one with the beast, urinate on the corners of the wall and mark your territory like the vikings did. Only then, will you truly respect the beastmastery mastermind.

I am indeed a hard ass on everybody because I believe in no excuses and getting things done. We live in a generation of "my feelings and safespace" over action and discipline. Take it or leave it. I don't offer praise that much which I gave on this post.

The new update is rather cool. Now please get more updates out faster after this. I won't give you crap unless it's over half a year. Keep up the good work, volunteers.

I've never had one. Ever. I'm being blunt, to the point, and maybe a bit cranky, but I'm not cussing people out or threatening anybody. Not sure why you're even thinking that extreme.

You may as well be talking to yourself or the wall. Nothing you said has any value to the point of this post.

If a crew of devs/volunteers didn't get any negative feedback they would just continue to think they are doing great. As many posts before this, I think the game and server overall are great, however, the lack of new content and nothing being addressed about it is concerning. They need to see posts like this for the health of the game.

Multiple crashes daily after the "rush" due to opportunistic online media blowing up the servers and still no update after close to a year. Devs, ermm "Volunteers", what say you on this?

I have seen no less than 20 articles today in the news talking about the new homecoming server having a license now. IGN, Kotaku. MMORPG.COM you name it. That is going to bring in a ton of people to the game. I think they could hire a couple good designers and coders and reach that goal above very easily, because there are a lot of whales and people who care about this place and don't want to see it shutdown. It's called growing your private server which is not so private now. You start a little small but you can start getting a really talented staff working on the game. Look at Ascension World of Warcraft. Those guys literally get millions a year in donations. They are also not some gacha pay to win crap, as you can buy everything in their stores on the auction house in the game. They also haven't been shut down by blizzard because they actually run a pretty legit server that is considered a "wow mod".

All i've read so far is excuses. You have a license. The game is legit now. The game requires money to run. To run the game requires staff. Now you can hire people and pay them with donation money. Get it done. I'm not a game designer, i'm a player, but i'm straight up telling you as a player that your team could do a better job. Do I hate Homecoming? Of course not. I wouldn't even be posting on these forums if that was the case. If anything i'm just giving you some tough love.

If you ever had the pleasure to try out Ascension WoW; that team has an addon that uses AI voice acting on all of their quests. It's rather decent, too! Imagine if you could make City of Heroes have voice acting on everything. Hey developers, If you really want to make this game a lot better; I would advise looking into this suggestion and make it become a reality. There is something so immersive about having an NPC talk to you instead of just reading text.

Screw this dying company sideways. Stan is long gone and his legacy has been shite on by absolute clown-baskets. Let people dress how they want in game.

After seeing the patch notes and quickly getting back online to try out the new Mastermind changes, I had to make this post. This time however, I'm going to be positive: Well done and keep up the good work! Thank you for listening to your playerbase and getting these changes in so quickly. Please consider buffing up the levels of the little guys as they still die very easily. Aside from that, I'm actually happy for a change. That's not easy to do. Cheers!

You are once again making excuses for the team here. They plain and simply should know and do better. Creating your own project is like George Lucas watching his own movies. Doesn't have the same effect. You just wish somebody would get it. And I'll be honest thunder spy devs do indeed get it. This homecoming needs Devs like thunderspy. Or people just need to go and play there because they need more players. And the main reason for that is because homecoming may severely lack creativity and balancing, but they are downright epic in everything else. By no means am I saying homecoming is a piece of crap. They have come out with some pretty cool things. I wouldn't even be typing this if I didn't care about homecoming and its future.
