  1. Oh I figured that much, maybe there is an opportunity for social only costumes then? A category of special social transformation that disable all powers? Another thought is the gladiators, or actually play with NPC power sets as opposed to player ones. I know its a bit outside the box, but far to many fun costumes/mobs out there a lot of players like me would love to have access too. In any case I'll continue to have it as my pie in the sky daydream for now.
  2. I can't find if its been said. But is there a chance of adding none humanoid costumes? I recall talk of being arachnos spiders or shivians, but have yet to see such costumes. I can understand from a gameplay perspective a ton of appearance can not work with powersets, but would love to know if there is ever a chance of the more exotic costumes/models to be avaiable.
  3. Pie in the sky suggestion here, but I would love to see some new events or even existing ones add zone or global modifiers. Like completing an event in a zone gives every team/mission/activity in that zone a modifier be it a temporary power(constant inspiration like DFB awards) or other more interesting or unique modifiers. The general idea would be new events that have win and fail conditions and purposely designed to have both a win and fail component or trade off. You pick option 1, but force option 2 to fail... and thus you get boon, but also a bane to come along with it. So it can make for a dynamic and interest game play loop where teams/leagues fight events to balance out boons or banes, or maybe they need to get enough boon's to power up to face some epic emperor class threat at the end of a series of zone events. Sort of like a pocket incarnate powerup path. Gives you the power to face the final foe or threat based on the choises everyone made. Ideally the above idea would need multiple teams in multiple zones at different level ranges completing different tasks (hey I did say pie in the sky didn't I!?). I think it would be a near addition to bring some more life into existing zones and just add a new meta layer of content for everyone to enjoy (or curse) since even if they do not participate they can reap the benefits or detractions of the events results. Would love to hear others ideas on this. Event if it can never happen for any number of reasons. It's a fun thought, at least for me!
  4. Exactly Gengeral, the whole reason it can not be removed is the reason you stated. But that is why having an off-duty or incognito toggle that suppress's 'all' your powers and ability to use them is the perfect solution to the issue. You can not attack even if you wanted to, when the crab pack is 'gone' due to the toggle that would temporarily remove it. And yes, no telling how hard it would actually be to implement...
  5. You will agree with me... you will support me. *innocent hypnotic stare* Also an addendum: Instead of 'off duty' how about 'incognito', where the pack is not physically removed, but instead cloaked (its there, but cloaked... for lore reasons).
  6. Hello, I want to talk about the spider in the room. Specificity the 'crab spider backpack' that has been the bane (pun intended, sorry not sorry!) of many outfits since CoX's retail launch. The problem with the crab pack is once it's attached, it can 'never' be removed. Which makes sense in terms of the game never knowing what outfit you may or may not be wearing, and must ensure you always have the crab pack to prevent trying to crab attack without the pack to animate it. But there is simple an existing system in game to sidestep the issue altogether. I talk of, of all things, the rocket board prestige flight power. When you activate the rocket board flight power it suppresses 'all' other powers, turns off all toggles, and makes you completely defenceless and unable to act or respond to combat. What I am suggesting here is giving all crab spider speced arachnos soldiers a free new toggle to enter 'offduty' mode. Just like the rocket board it will suppress everything, making combat impossible, BUT will temporarily strip or hide the crab pack while in this toggled state. This prevents a player from activating any related ability or power that might make use of the pack, so there is never a risk of "ERROR! Crash to desktop!' for not having it equipped. The purpose of this toggle is simply a quality of life request to like crab soldier's hang up their back pack when they want to lay low or relax in casual cloths. Not everyone wants to bring work home with them at the end of the night! I understand implementing this may not be as simple as it sounds, but I would be a simple and elegant solution to a long standing problem... and a huge boost in QoL to crab soldiers everywhere. Dose anyone else agree? Would love to hear your thoughts!
