  1. So my wife has a defunct account and I hopped on thinking I would roll a Fire/Rad Brute to use as a follow farmer since the account isn't being used when I saw that she has a level 50 Dark/Rad Tank that isn't fully slotted, so I started playing in mids. Keep in mind this would just be set to follow me Fire/Rad Brute while I farm and would only be using toggles plus Atom Smasher set to auto fire. Threw some procs in Cloak of Fear to maybe squeak a bit more damage out of him. Do you think this is a viable farm partner or should I just spend some time training up another Fire/Rad? 2. I believe the real benefit of Ice Arrow when fighting boss and up is the -DMG is does. I'm not in front of mids but if I recall it's a healthy debuff along will a lot of proc damage to open your ST chain.
  3. Yeah, just theory crafting obviously, but I figured enough of the procs in the AOE's would get OSA going for me pretty reliably.
  4. Took the build OAS posted and made a few quick changes which are more to my liking. Dropping Blazing Arrow for Super speed and shifting the Defenders Bastion proc over to Oil Slick arrow and taking the last two slots down to Stamina for Synaptic Shock Proc/EndMod, which nets me a pretty 22.5% movement speed boost. I would still need to play with the power arrangement a bit if I were to actually build him out, but this is the happiest I've been with a TA/A bulid, so thanks to everyone here for the tips, especially OAS!!!
  5. If I were to drop Blazing Arrow from OnlyASandwich's build, where would you recommend putting Defenders Bastion proc? Would it work well in Oil Slick Arrow?
  6. Mine is a personal issue, in that I get a bit obsessed with collecting exploration badges and like to be able to quickly stealth missions as necessary and both things slow way down without a SPEED. Especially badging.
  7. This is along the lines of what I always end up with when I start working through this combo. To get everything I want, I struggle to fit a travel power which drives me crazy. I've never had such a hard time fitting the things the need/want. So much as I appreciate the TA overhaul, the spread the buffs so wide you basically have to take everyone, maybe skipping Entangling Arrow or Glue Arrow, but even those are pretty nice. Maybe I'll come back to it eventually, but my frustrations in making it work the way I want it to drove me to ALT.
  8. No worries. I'll keep an eye on your thread for some idea. I've pivoted for the time being as I couldn't work out a build I liked and felt good about. Rolled a Nature/Water defender instead and I'll table the Archer for the time being.
  9. To be clear, I don't run two travels powers, I always use either Hasten/SS or Hover/Fly/EM. What I cant get behind is banking on Sprint/Ninja Run/Jump Pack to get around. Yuck.
  10. Been fiddling with ideas for my next Defender and I'd really like to give TA/Arch a go but every time I start playing with Mids I have trouble fitting everything in there. Since the TA revamp, seems like every single power is necessary. I've looked around the forums a bit and the builds I find rely on pseudo travel powers and I just can't do that. I like to Ricky Bobby my toons. Gotta go fast! Its max runs speed or fly speed. All my flying toons go Hover/Fly/EM. Anyone have a good build that utilizes true travel power they don't mind sharing either publicly or privately? I'll modify it to suit my taste, but I'm really at a loss with how to build this set.
  11. Thanks. Yeah, I checked on my computer and I definitely dont get that look. It's more yellowish when I try. I may play around with the auras later to see if I can match that color just for curiosity's sake.
  12. How did you get the tan/brown color on Infect? I tried that same concept of cracked skin on a Rad/Rad Brute but I couldn't get the color to work, so I went another direction. Love the outfits.
  13. I started playing in the character Builder trying to design a /Bio scrapper. I've never ran Bio past lvl20 because I absolutely hate the look of the armor and I'm astounded that's what the original developers came up with. Hideous. When the costume was all said and done, I switched powersets because he looks more like a Claws/EA character (though I also really liked how he looked holding a Katana. I've never used the minimal FX because I ultimately like to see my powers, but does it completely hide all of the huge carcass that /Bio what's to cover you with? I may just keep him as is, but still considering re-rolling to before I start his long journey to 50.
  14. What ever fits your theme is always my personal suggestion for lore pets. They are all ridiculously powerful in all standard content. Try them all!! If you insist on picking the top tier at all cost: Banished Pantheon, Carnies, Longbow, Warworks and IDF are all quite strong. But really, none of them will feel disappointing.
  15. Everyone is so easily offended nowadays. Makes me sick.
