  1. • Kheldian Only TINPEX Event • TINPEX (Tin Mage & Apex task forces) needs more love. Kheldians (Warshades & Peacebringers) need more love. So, why not combine the two in an all out event. What do you need? A level 50 Warshade or Peacebringer (Blue or Red). While you don't have to be slotted with incarnates, it's strongly advised. • When: 04/24/24 at 8:00pm EST | 5:00pm PST • Where: Rikti Warzone We'll see you there!
  2. Great job on the overall costumes and base items. It would be nice to have pieces from Pandora's Box, Paragon City's magical themed store, and the glowy models from radio/paper missions as well. I made this request way back in 2019. We did the radio/paper mission to get the Gem of [X] or the Tiara of [Y], why can't we display it in our base after nearly 20 some years? And I'm just referring to the generic glowies that appear in missions. Not specially made models for each random item. The animations for teleport look wonderful! A wind teleport? Fancy! Whatever could you do with that? Oh, yes...wind control powerset. We've got Christmas lights, graffiti, and cellphones. Gimme some display cases! 😄 Arsenal themed sets look good. I don't know if this was addressed, but when I made a Arsenal/Trick Arrow 'troller, the animation to pull out the gun was for the Dual Swords? One powerset I think wouldn't have any animation problems: wind control... As for some of the power changes...ehh. My main is a Mind/Psi perma-dom, and I didn't take Telekinesis. None of the other Mind/Psi doms I know have it either. Some of the changes are good, such as pulling the targets towards the anchor. However, putting an auto-shutoff on it seems weird. It might help with melee herding. What would really be fun would be making a melee toon an anchor! It'd make that power actually useful (in my eyes). One thing that will not is bonfire... my fire perma-dom will be fine. Immob and holds will help with bonfire. However, it is now pretty worthless for my blaster. And it will only make (some) melee players irritated with the scattering. Thank you for the hard work! In closing: wind control for Page 8. Wind control.
  3. I knew I forgot to add something. Both the Air Burst and Exploit Weakness sets I tried to convert were attuned sets. True, Air Burst only goes up to Level 19, but Exploit Weakness goes up to Level 50. EDIT: I misread that. I thought you meant Air Burst only goes up to Level 19. Anyway, so I tried to convert a non-attuned Level 50 Air Burst Enhancement, and it is given the option to convert in the Ranged AoE Category. So it must be just the attuned Air Burst and Exploit Weakness sets that can't. Well, of the ones I was able to find. Don't know if there are any others.
  4. While converting some Ranged AoE Damage sets, I noticed that Air Burst didn't have the option to be converted Out-of-Set in the same category as the others. Exploit Weakness also had the same situation. Both are uncommon sets, however, other uncommon sets didn't seem to have this particular bug such as Titanium Coating.
  5. Thank you for the feedback, however as you stated yourself, it's unlikely that the Devs will alter Storm Summoning's coloring (which has pretty much been the same since launch) just 'cos two-or-so people didn't like the way it looked recolored. Using the recolor option on Storm Summoning and Storm Blast just makes it look bland and flat. Visual feedback: I still think it'd be best to alter Storm Blast's lightning bolts to yellow rather than blue. It is possible to recolor Direct Strike and Chain Lightning to visually match Storm Summoning's Thunder Storm. However, the lightning bolt effects from Storm Cell & Category Five can't be changed without altering the entire power itself. Chain Lightning's new summoning pose it ten times better than the original! All in all, great set. Thanks for all the effort you put into making this game look great.
  6. Agreed. Storm Summoning isn't a good powerset to recolor. It just looks off when it is done. Changing Storm Blast to yellow will give it nice synergy with Storm Summoning.
  7. Or maybe randomness for the sets that all ready exist? Thugs, Ninja, and Mercs could easily add female options into the mix. A new mastermind set is really needed. Over all, Storm Blast is a blast to play with. Very powers are creative and it pairs well with Storm Summoning.
  8. I admit, the change is a little bit of a surprise, but it's something I (and hopefully the rest of the player base) will adapt to. I fully admit, I would cash in my Emps for Merits (here and there) to help the next generation of toons I was going to make. It wasn't until I wanted to get the T4 gear that I stopped doing that cos of how hard they are to come by. I have time to adjust to this, because I like to surf the boards here and there (I'm not a big commenter). However, there are a lot of people who don't even look at the forums. I do TINPEX daily, and the few people I've talked to were surprised (and annoyed) that they couldn't do trade in their Emps anymore. Had I not told them, they might've logged into the game and experienced this large change. And got angry. Big changes are hard to adapt to. I would recommend some sort of grace period to tell the player base before it happens. Maybe one week after Page 4 goes live? "To whom it may concern: you have one week after Page 4 goes live to cash out your Emps before the change." Or something along those lines. This way, you can ease the players into the change rather than a harsh 180 turn. Our player base is so small as is, we need to do everything in our power to keep the rest around. Honey over vinegar, I always say.
  9. Symphony looks excellent with an orange/yellow color scheme and it pairs nicely, visually, with /fire on Dominators. First thing that came to my mind was a Succubus-type character.
  10. I do farm, but mostly as a way to level up my other toons to around 40 and go from there. So the removal of XP from AE won’t really hit me, ‘cos my farmer is all ready maxed out. And I don’t rely on AE to open incarnate slots with my other toons (for me, it just feels like it takes to long). However, just because I don’t use AE farming for this, doesn’t mean—I think—it should be taken away. I can’t really see the reason it would be. “Getting the players to become involved in endgame content” doesn’t really seem like a big motivator. I just think players are going to rage quit over the change. I do see diehard lovers of the game grumble about it, but later just deal with it. Maybe it’s another money pit option? I know if you spend one million influence and some threads, it will open up the slots faster. I’m not at my computer, so I can’t give specifics, but I do see the devs using this option to get rid of access influence. Anyway, I do hope the playerbase and devs find a compromise. Just remember: a good compromise is where both parties leave uphappy. 🤣
  11. I am very excited to get this set into the game. I think it is very creative; graphics looks impressive and something from the original game’s content creators. So, kudos on all the hard work it took into creating this amazing set. Feedback wise, it’s a little too specific of a power set. Sonic Domination probably would have been a better power to create, since it is so generic in scope. Sonic heroes and villains are quite common (Black Bolt, Black Canary, Siryn, Claw, Banshee, etc). Music themed heroes and villains, not so much (Piped Piper, White Violin, Fiddler are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head). I’m seeing tons of opera singers, sirens, DJs, etc (not that is a bad thing, I’m all ready thinking of my music themed dominator at this very moment). With it being very specific, it limits replayability with other toons. Why create a new music themed toon when you all ready have one? This would have been a great reskin for the Sonic powersets in other archetypes or even a new sound effect option. The growling sound or the melodic sound as an option (however, I am not a coder and don’t know how it would work, just an idea). Including Sonic Assault feels like it would pair better with Sonic Domination rather than Symphony Control. Usually when introducing new powersets, they compliment each other (Seismic Blast and Earth Manipulation for example). Or a Symphony Assault to compliment this power set. That being said, the originality of this powerset is remarkable. I will definitely be rolling one when it hits live. I’ve all ready played around with it for a few hours. I’m loving how many holds it has and making it mostly comes really plays well with my ranged Dominator playing style. It truly does stand out as a unique set. So thank you to the devs for all your hard work and please don’t take this as harsh criticism, just feedback on this and future powersets. Thank you again!
  12. You, good sir/madam, have won the internet for this day!
  13. Thank you to all the devs who have added great items into the base options. Pandor's Box, Paragon City's magical store, has loads of great pieces, I believe, would make great additions. Antique display cases, jewelry cases, and unique bookshelves with tomes and objects on the shelves. Perfect for any Antique Room or Display Hall in both bases and lairs.
  14. An idea I had to help generate revenue for the server would be art commissions. Maybe the dev team could have artists volunteer their services and the profits from the art commissions goes to help maintain the servers. The art pieces can have a sliding scale depending on the artist's talent, style, etc. Example: - Full body shots cost $20 - Three quarter shots cost $15 - Head shots cost $10 - Extra $5 per character in the picture.
