  1. Most of my enhancements were pack openings, though a bunch of them were from crafting common IOs to get the Field Crafter accolade, and later the Fabricator badge. Much of the salvage is indirectly from pack openings, crafting rare salvage 100-200 at a time from Brain Storm Ideas and selling what I didn't need for around 500k each. Most of the inspirations were EoEs left over from Hami raids (I'd usually have 10-20 left over from a given night), some sold as high as 15k, lately selling for no more than 100. But I did make a little profit selling Ambrosia the last time the Woodsman Trial was the WST.
  2. My least favorite is Sister Jocasta, in "Your Life Story! Wait, What?" (Extract Sister Jocasta from the Knives of Artemis). Sister Jocasta is literally the only character on the map who can't see through stealth.
  3. I also have to keep reminding myself that it's the MLTF. And my favorite memory of the TF (Confusing Ghost Widow) was when it was still called the Statesman TF.
  4. I tried really hard to like DCUO. I even tried to remake my main. I just couldn't get used to the UI.
  5. Same for Ambrosia, which don't have the volume of use, and for Ultimates, which perhaps aren't as widely used or as crucial. There used to be ways to put timers on your buffs, but those may have been mods. I'm not sure I'd want to see stacking of inspirations for duration, as the argument can be made that it takes away from the buffing ATs. On Indomitable, the raid leader (or someone they designate) usually reminds everyone at the proper interval to pop an EoE. The raids in which reminders haven't gone out have tended to wipe more frequently, just like any other part of the raid process that goes sideways. It's part of the skill challenge of Hami.
  6. I'd rather have a stealth debuff applied (call it Clingy?). After all, you're dragging someone around with you who doesn't have stealth. The only time I have major issues is when I'm on a team with people running AoE stealth and refusing to turn it off. (I can turn off my own stealth powers, but I can't turn off someone else's.) It seems like some of the combative NPCs already have quite an aggro radius.
  7. Sure, I'll bite. I just hit 1300 a few nights ago. Just hanging out in The Chantry. 🙂
  8. Most of us aren't dealing in the volume OP is, which is definitely a limiting factor. Another limiting factor is that AH prices for the stuff that comes out of packs has decreased markedly in the last few months: ATOs that sold within a day for 10M now sell in several days for 8M, Catalyst and Booster prices are down 20-30% and take days to move. I used to make around 2-3M profit per pack plus merits; now it's just the merits. More people at home for lockdown means more people are doing the pack opening trick, which means profits are leaner. I did make around 3B profit in the last week opening winter packs, but I'd been saving those since buying them at the winter prices. If you have them saved from winter you can make bank, but profits are lean if you're buying them at summer prices.
  9. Some of us still fight even-conn minions from time to time, contrary to current meta. And the change you're proposing hits those characters harder than the one you hope to balance.
  10. I just object to the rhetorical device. You say it isn't meaningful and then outline a meaningful change. Not everyone has an awesome enough toon to run +4/x8 right now.
  11. There's rarely an argument for extra reward from the "nerf incarnate" advocates--the usual argument is something like, "Make the game harder for everyone because my build is too awesome but I want street-level minions to feel like they had a shot." But if you want the option, I have a couple of suggestions: -- The time benchmarks would have to be rebalanced, because some TFs are shorter than others. If you fail the time check, you fail the TF. -- Any team wipe with a challenge fails the TF. -- A "no macros" challenge that disables all macros and slash commands while you're in the TF. Maybe even include that automatically if you include any challenge setting.
  12. Not a bug. Mask of Vitiation has been like this forever, and it's working as intended. Sounds like it's time to turn down your Notoriety, at least long enough to finish the Carnies arc.
  13. That does seem odd--I'd have expected something like that next week, once the Winter Event ends and people want to round out their stocks for badges, temp powers, etc..
  14. They're there, unless you have competition or there's a zone event; for example, they tend to vacate during zone invasions. On the other hand, there is a strange phenomenon where people can't seem to find any spawns for the mission that just popped up. Normally you'll see Skuls in the area behind the PPD Station (on the opposite side from Blue Steel) as well as along the Aqueduct and near the Hospital. Vahzilok are along the southern and western (mostly western, IIRC) edges of the zone.
  15. Who is your favorite hero? My favorites from way back have been Doctor Strange and Ms. (Captain) Marvel (please, no hate over naming conventions). Who is your least favorite hero? I've never had much use for Hawkeye. Who is your favorite villain? Loki is the only villain who's had any sort of character development in MCU. Dormammu was a favorite from comics, but MCU buildup vs. payoff ratio just wasn't there. Who is your least favorite villain? Mandarin was incredibly mishandled in MCU. Who is your favorite actor? Michael Pena steals every scene he's in. I also like Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, and Chris Evans really became Captain America for the MCU. And I love me some Hayley Atwell. Who is your least favorite actor? Jeremy Renner. As with his character, I have no use for him. And as much as I love Captain Marvel, I'm not so sure how I feel about Brie Larson (who was also pretty forgettable in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World). What is your favorite movie in the MCU? Aside from Endgame, I go back to my favorite heroes: Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel. Doctor Strange is as trippy as I'd hoped it would be, and Captain Marvel's climax is straight-up wish fulfillment. What is your least favorite movie? Thor: The Dark World.
  16. But not all types make it to level 20 without at least one defeat.
  17. I've been wanting parts of the Sister Solaris costume since Cimerora debuted. I think you can do the sandals and maybe the belt, but the rest isn't available.
  18. It depends a lot on what's meant by "individual contribution". Are we thinking damage, as is the current meta? That's a good way to never recruit another support character, and I don't support that at all. Or do you mean "individual participation", as in granting a certain number of merits per mission in the TF/arc? I'm not even sure I'd agree with that, because everyone (should) know going in that the TF is a time commitment and backing out carries a consequence. (On a similar line, I vaguely recall in WoW that backing out of a Group Finder dungeon barred you from the Group Finder for a short time.) Also, most TFs have completion badges, which should definitely require participation in all of the missions in the TF.
  19. The Will of the Earth things? Yeah, those suck. I don't know if that's intended or bugged, but I just took it as being a hard set of missions. They start summoning as soon as you aggro them, and I think they keep summoning as long as they're alive. (So if you take your time killing it you might notice a bunch of extra mobs.) I got through on my controller mainly by confusing the other mobs from beyond aggro range to attack the WotE. It takes a while, since the confused mobs also aggro on each other in addition to the WotE, but it was the safest way I found. At least they're only Pets and not Bosses. If you find yourself in the group already (or have to engage the group), you have to focus down the WotE because it seems to alternate between its PBAoE heal and its summon. (The summon and heal are its only two powers.)
  20. Same here. I still have two full Thunderstrike sets on my main, down from four about a month ago. (I finally replaced two with the Devastation and Gladiator's Javelin sets.)
  21. I remember having to make sure there were enough mentors to sidekick up all the lowbies on a higher-level team...and having to rebalance it when someone left or DCed. I also remember the sidekick/mentor relationship having a finite range.
  22. A TF or MSR will clear that right up, and there is tons of other content for 35+. They even tell you to talk to Borea for extra missions. This used to be the norm--you'd run out the contacts in each level band a couple of levels before the next level band. It would happen even at low levels, and I recall it being particularly bad in the 30s, when the increased XP needed per level became apparent. There was a lot of street sweeping involved, so you'd see a lot of characters on the streets. But that was even before the Police Radio.
