  1. Thanks. I actually had to uninstall and re-install. Wasn't able to choose the homecoming database so I was getting errors. Got it now!
  2. any chance you can post a new version of this mids build? it won't pull up in reborn v3.5.5. I get an error. In the meantime, i'm working on putting it all in, if not. Thanks! Edit; All good, I think. I tried to recreate in Mids v3.5.5. For those interest, here's my file. Double Edit. turns out the new mids appears to be having issues with export. I'll try again later! Thanks for the build!
  3. Some options that I thought of, I don't think any are current badge names: - Acceptor - Campaigner - Enthusiast - Forerunner - Go-getter - Hopeful - Heavyweight - Protégé - Sage - Virtuoso
  4. Not sure what hardware or ISP service you have, but from my experience, I rarely have lag or rubber banding. It could be local to you, not necessarily a server/bandwidth/game issue.
  5. Thanks for this build. The two things I found to help, slightly, would be to use unbreakable +HP, instead of unbreakable resist/end/recharge on Resist Physical Damage. You're already capped on S/L so swapping that out only adds +HP. Also, using Aegis on Tough, to include the +5% Psionic resist for the same reason, you're still capped at 90% for S/L with those two adjustments and you've improved the HP and Psionic Resistance.
  6. awesome guide! thanks for the details. I read it while leveling up my fire/kin and it has helped me better understand the power set. (melee guy normally here. all my 50s so far and even back on live were tanks/brutes mostly). Thanks!
  7. I went with the Cimerorans for the DPS as I read in another post, which I can't find at the moment, that they had the best damage output. The post was very good with a tested chart of each Lore type and its abilities. I can attest that on a +4/8 farm, they die pretty quickly. Even on a TF such as ITF, they don't last long in the AV fight either. Rather disappointing as that's about the only time I could use the extra DPS. I might have to try one of the other types that have untouchable characteristics to at least get some benefit out of them.
  8. items are loaded in WW too. take your 2billion inf and go to /ah and buy what you need. i did that for a few sets that I couldn't figure out as well as for salvage.
  9. excellent feedback, falconloft. Thanks. I'll run those changes through and take a look. I appreciate the advice.
  10. Hey all, This is my first attempt at actually planning a build. I have had several 50s over the years and they've all been trial-and-error and try as I go type of builds. I played with shield/elec tank the other day and wanted to give the build a shot. So I started up Pines and put this together. If any of you have any tips on where to improve, let me know. I built this tank for tanking in groups/teams/tfs etc. Thanks Hero Plan by Mids' Hero Designer 1.962 http://www.cohplanner.com/ Click this DataLink to open the build! 11. retroactively? No. It would be nearly impossible, save for wiping characters that participated, to remove IOs/Influence/Mertis/Incarnate content/etc from alts in any logical way to say what was gained 'illegally' - for the lack of a better word - and what would have been gained in a normal environment. You simply correct the problem going forward and everyone moves on.
  12. I'm referring to these https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Very_Rare_IO_Sets I believe you can buy those (purple sets) at the merit vendor. If i'm not mistaken, its 50 merits per recipe? I don't think you can buy the straight enhancement. Recipe only, maybe? I can't login from work to verify....
  13. While I only learned about this exploit a few hours ago, and since I'm at work and have been unable to take advantage of it (as I most admittedly would have/will be), you make some excellent points. It does diminish the importance of reward merits and in turn, the loot garnered from them. But I ask with all seriousness, can you change it next week!!?? Haha ;D ;D ;)
