A bit early in the year, I know, but I was just rummaging in my CoH archive files/screenshots and came across these two from Sep 11 2004: Ahhh, those were the days...pretty sure there were hundreds of ppl down at Ms Liberty, just my PC of the day could only handle 1024x768 with a draw distance of 3 metres lol!

I named my zoms Rocky, Apollo and Drago; the knights Donnie and Darko; and the lich Vecna. :)

My best ones: - Kelvin Ator (my original ice/fire blaster from live - remember, fridges are heat exchangers! :) - Pen Umbra (Ill/Dark troller) - Elektra Luxx (my PB :) - and if you know where that's from, you must be a dirty old man like me! - Psycho Maiden (Shield/Psi tanker) - Max Arsenal (Arse/Arse dom :) - Raidioactive (Rad/Atomic blaster) - Miss Memory (psychic/mental blaster) - Elsa Frozenice (ice/ice stalker) - Romulv (broad/shield brute - means space wolf in Norwegian :) - Manshee (sonic/sonic corr) - Monkeyking (staff/ninj scrapper) - Babarella (they took Barbierella off me :( - I was going for Barbarella, obviously, couldn't give a flying about the doll or movie!) I have a lot of other 'clever' ones I like, but they are not really puns or amusing.

Back on live I only ever got my ice/fire blaster to 44 I think, before I gave up on the grind & eventually the game got shut down. I've now gotten my Ill/Dark troller to 40 (I have chronic alt-o-holism & very limited time!), and noticed the very slow XP bar progress, even with double XP. So, my question, what would be the best place(s) to do some group power-levelling for the last 10 levels? I'm a bit over DfB/DiB runs, so hoping there is some other area/zone/game mode I can join relatively easily. I also can't spend hours in TFs or whatnot, as I often only have a half hour/hour at most to play. Do I just add +1/2/3 to mob level and team size while I solo & see how I go? She currently steam-rolls all +0/0 content, no surprise there! Thanks guys.

More recently: - Ill/Dark troller - Dark/Ninja blaster - Plant/Thorns dom - Necro/Dark MM - hard to pick between my Fortunata, Peacebringer, Warshade, Beast/Nature MM, Shield/Psi tanker, or my up & coming Dark/Dark dom. :)

I dabbled a bit with Grav/Elec - hey, it's the only secondary that gets its snipe at level 20! ;) And you get a 2nd pet, so there's that...

I didn't know you could use the other end of a Mind dom to boost your Psi technique!

My main is Ill/Dark, I really don't understand anyone who wants to look any further if you mostly solo ;). Ill/Storm is the classic after all. I want to try Time at some point. And I think a Ill/Dark Dom rather than a troller could be awesomesauce! *duck* ---- Having said all that, I'd really appreciate some suggestions on the fastest, reasonably fun way to level her up 40-50. Just going 39-40 is feeling really slow, even with double XP, although she tramples all 0/0 content, so perhaps time for me to bite the bullet & try +1/2 difficulty...? What's the most fun fairly quick group content I can do at this level, ala DiB/DfB...?

I was looking for a fun, relatively strong solo stalker. I had a lvl 12 elec/energy, which I went back to for a few levels and didn't really grab me - long power inception times, mediocre single dmg, etc. Long ago I had a rad/rad stalker 'Roentgen' (pretty proud of that!), which I parked at 15, must play her a bit more. So I've also tried dark/dark dom (very nice), D/D defender (so so), D/D Sentinel (ok, needs more time) and more recently a D/D stalker, which I also need a bit more time with. BUT, I've now rolled a D/D Troller 'Styxia' (don't ask me why! I think I have an unhealthy affinity with the dark...), and am going to give her a fair shake :

Why can't you have 2 or more of the same AT/primary/secondary, with diff costumes/themes/builds...? ;) I feel very left out and under-represented by this thread, due to my rampant alt-o-holism, with almost 70 toons, highest at 39. :(

No. One is obviously meant to keep the flavour in, the other one out. I will leave it up to you to decide which is which.

Yes, some ppl need a team of randos to carry them. For me, hell is other ppl, so I prefer undead minions. ;-p

Commie bastard! ;) Anyway, everyone plays Brutes, I have no idea why, when everyone knows that Doms are dominant and the best class in the game. That is all.

My early dial-up ISP back in the 90s let me have my own .vent local group, where absolutely anything goes - no censorship, user enter at own risk! They drew the line at subs comparing other ISP pricing & deals to theirs...anything goes, except risk to the bottom line it seems lol!

Loving my Dark/Dark Dom so far, she absolutely blitzes in groups! Ok solo too, though I do miss my Seeds of Confusion from my other Plant/Thorny Dom, eh. I'm going for a pure ranged build, as much as possible, although Heart of Darkness pbaoe is too good to skip and keeps dragging me into mob packs! :)
