  1. I chose electric/storm for mostly thematic reasons, but I also want to make sure I'm decently powerful. Storm seems to be a popular secondary for corruptors, but there is little information on electric blast and most of it is mostly about how bad the secondary effect is. Before I put a ton of time into this character, will electric/storm be gimped compared to other options like ice or dark.
  2. I played radiation sonic for a while and felt very powerful as a second support, but had trouble carrying the load if I was the sole defender. Things like mobs being spread out or my anchor running away could lead to a dead teammate without feeling like there was much I could do. After grouping with a rad defender on my 50 and finding he had the same problems, even at that level, I started trying out other defenders as my support main (used strictly for grouping). I tried a bunch of different "healer" supports that I felt could handle being the only support in a group and wound up enjoying thermal the best. Nature came close, but I don't particularly like that cone heal. I also liked dark, but felt it went too heavy on the control powers near the end of the power set. Thermal is an active healer that gives me two heals and a nice set of buffs/debuffs. Sonic I'm taking because of that awesome secondary that really helps in groups. I plan to take almost everything out of the thermal tree (it all looks good) and only a few sonic powers (probably the three single target nukes and then howl to spread around -res to a group). But, when it comes to sets and regular/epic power pools I'm at a bit of a loss.
  3. I've been looking around for a thermal/sonic defender build and have come up empty. Does anyone have a build they would be willing to share?
  4. I've got a water/time blaster that has a concept I like (recolored water red for a hemomancer), but I have no idea how to slot his powers since both of the sets are new and there's not much information available. Also, I never got a character past 30 when the game was live. I'm hoping to be able to use time's control and debuffs to solo effectively while looking for groups (villains don't have too many players), but also provide some utility to a group along with the debuffs from water. I'm looking to slot up all my powers once I hit 22 and can make IOs as effective as SOs. Any advice on how to slot up my powers? Also, any power pools I should be looking at to provide more defenses (maybe hover or stealth?)
