  1. I know it's a couple months down the road but just wanted to chime in. Tanker PBAoE's DO benefit from the radius increase in general. The ones that don't benefit are in their secondary and are already 15ft. Which is Foot Stomp and Axe Cyclone... and nothing else off the top of my head. Interestingly there's a few PBAoE powers that are 15ft for Scrappers/Brutes but only 10ft for Tankers (which then just gets buffed up to be 15ft by Gauntlet), such as Spine Burst and Tremor/Fault. It also applies to some of the PBAoE's that are in the primary. Ground Zero, Consume, Energize, etc.
  2. Alright here's my list. Realized that there are 11 primaries and 22 secondaries so I did two for each primary. Bio/ MA and Claws Dark/ Energy and Dark Electric/ Savage and Electric Fiery/ Spines and Radiation Ice/ Psionic and Katana Inv/ SS and StJ Radiation/ Axe and TW Shield/ Ice and Mace Stone/ Fire and Stone SR/ Staff and DB WP/ BS and Kinetic I feel like there were maybe half of those where I felt actual synergy, and then a quarter made thematic sense, and the last quarter were mostly just where do I stick the leftovers.
  3. Just an "I'm bored" exercise. If you went through and made unique pairs for each primary with a secondary (as in you can only use each once) what would your list be?
  4. I am thinking a Ice/Fire Tanker and a Fire/Cold Corrupter (or Controller if that's your fancy). The Cold shields will shore up the Tanker's defense nicely and Ice Tanks hold agro like none other. Both offensive sets are solid. and the /Cold brings lovely debuffs for the hard targets when needed.

    Wolverine?

I'd argue Savage's animations fit Freddy better. Actually, and probably Dark Armor too. Aura of Fear, Self-Res, etc.
  6. Oh I didn't say it was mechanically optimal, definitely not saying that. Just the best fit thematically.
  7. Shield/Ice with Manuevers. Hands out a nice chunk of defense to the team, Ice Patch, a hold, and a 15ft AoE Sleep gives tons of utility to a team. Plus AoO for a little damage reduction. Does the DDR of Grant Cover apply to your teammates?
  8. Seems like Regen makes the most sense thematically. They always are looking dead and then popping back up with a second wind. Not exactly the optimal choice mechanically of course.
  9. So I love Ice Armor. Even if the set isn't stellar there's just something about it. Looking for opinions on whether you would combine Fire Melee or Battle Axe with it. I was fiddling with Axe on a Tanker and realized that A) Axe Cyclone is 15ft on Scrappers too and B) it doesn't benefit from the Tanker AoE increase (which makes sense but they didn't update the description to state that like they did on Foot Stomp). Anyways, got me thinking maybe I'll do Axe over here and FM over on a Tanker since they're both pretty snazzy post updates (though no Cremate does make me sad on the Tanker).
  10. Couple things. 1 the arcs in TW are all locked so you won't gain the benefit of the Tanker AoE stuff. Personally I also don't like being required to take Defensive Sweep. Because of those things i prefer TW on a Brute or Scrapper myself. That said... Far as the recharge goes, look at slotting the Force Feedback proc wherever you can. Follow Through, Arc of Destruction, and Titan Sweep I think? I would certainly expect that between primary powers, Tough, and the Tanker proc you should easily be hitting the 70% res to S/L though I admit I haven't looked at Inv in ages. Getting up to 90% is usually the bigger challenge.

    Stone/TW

Exactly why I've not tried TW on a tank. Though I suppose if you took a primary that could skip some powers or didn't require as many pools to be effective then it might work.

    Stone/TW

Personally I really hate charging up Momentum with any attack other than Crushing Blow. Even then stuff regularly is dead before I get the swing off. But wasting things like Rend just pains me. Fitting
  13. Gotcha. So in Titan Weapons when a power says it's "unaffected by Arc changes" does that mean this doesn't apply to that set?
  14. Fairly recently discovered Homecoming. Read about the increases to Tanker AoE and Cones. Should that show in the numbers on the various skills? Because as I compare between the Brute and Tanker sets I find very few instances where the numbers are actually different? Is the base number the same (for the most part) and then gets increased by 50% behind the scenes or something? Like I read someone comment about how much bigger Shadow Maul is for Tankers, but the numbers in the detailed skill info are the same between Tanker and Brute (7 range, 120 degrees)
