  1. If I didn't hate invisibility so much I would enjoy stalkers. But I want to see the costume that I worked so hard on in the game. DEVS!! Please let us toggle the see through effect of hide like Dark Armor's invis? Force it in PvP sure, but at least give us the option of letting us be seen if we want it.... Pretty please with sugar on top?
  2. I've mained a regen scrapper ever since the game began. The set has always been a bit of an odd ball. While its old glory days are long behind it, the set is still good. After its nerfs into its current state it provides some interesting features. It's also very much a love it or hate it set when it comes to playing it. You have to pay attention to incoming damage, learn your enemies attack probabilities. You need to time when you use your defense clicks and know when you won't need them while they are recharging. It's the stick shift of defense sets. When everything aligns it is glorious. But it can feel like trying to predict the weather too. No other set gives you the power to derive greater defense through recharge bonuses. Even a couple of seconds can be the difference between living and dying with Regen and most of your mitigation is from your clickies. The passive endurance regeneration is fantastic! When saying that regen clicks impact DPS, I would add that endurance recovery clicks can impact DPS as well. So this would offset that animation time a bit and make it less of a penalty to regen. You can stack all of your defenses into some potent survival for a short time. Using Instant Healing, then popping Moment of Glory and jumping into a nasty spawn is awesome. Pop dull pain to absorb the alpha, then reconstruction to recover from another damage surge and you are still going. I've taking massive incoming spikes of damage this way. After playing many scrappers Shadow Meld is like jelly to regen's peanut butter. I've seen few powers make such drastic impacts into power sets. As soon as you get it, you can effectively have a slightly less impactful Moment of Glory and keep it up almost half of the time. It's ready for every alpha strike! Pop it before you jump into a spawn and then if you need more than 15 seconds that it provides hit your Moment of Glory! I've found that on harder or longer fights where you can sometimes be counting seconds until Reconstruction is back up, that Shadow Meld is back up which can let you keep going. As of late I've been using the Presence pool instead of the Fighting pool. Invoke Panic has been a great tool for limiting incoming damage. I find it to be more impactful than toughness overall.
  3. I've run an elec/elec blaster longer than I've run scrappers. It was the second character that I ever created on live back at release and I never stopped playing him. Elec blast just feels light on damage compared to most other sets. The trade off is of limited use, at least on blasters. I've played a sapper elec/elec build for a long time. Yes you can use it, but other blasters are killing the mobs or the team has already moved on. With IOs other blasters are not at much threat from anything that you could fully drain. Elec Blast lacks multiple heavy single target blasts or ranged AoE attacks that it can use to leverage extra recharge into higher performing attack chains. I think only two tweaks would shore things up a lot in making Elec blast on the Blaster much more satisfying and without overpowering it. 1. Make Tesla Cage cause damage in addition to its hold, at least as much as Lightning Bolt. I think it could be made into a true tier 3 with a hold and that it wouldn't do anything to harm balance. But even tier 2 damage would help with low level attack chains, and high level overall damage dealing. 2. Make Voltaic Sentinel a real, controllable pet. It's damage isn't high, but if you could control what it was shooting at like a Mastermind minion it would become a lot more useful. Weak HP and its cast time would be worth dealing with for the extra damage. It would also make the pet unsuitable for tanking, and keep the agro on the blaster since it would easily out damage the pet. It would be a nice support pet for a blaster without adding anything drastically new. It would alter the IO type for the power, but it would offer a lot more in terms of game play. Combine both of these changes and you would shore up the Elec/Elec blaster as a damage dealer, preserving the current play style, and at least in spirit staying within the cottage rule. If you try to redesign the endurance drain mechanic it would be more difficult and do nothing to help the damage of the blaster version, and no matter what the blaster's control will be much less than an actual control class. Blasters are for damage. Chaining attacks would help with AoE damage, but do nothing for single target. Elec doesn't need more recharge, it doesn't have enough damage dealing attacks of sufficient strength in single target to get a good damage boost with that extra recharge. I don't think that the set needs an endurance boost either. Without a tier 3 attack, it can't stack multiple high recharge attacks to develop a higher end attack chain that other blast sets can.
  4. There is already a precedence for having visible stealth. Dark armor's Cloak of Darkness has the option for minimal FX. The devs gave the option of suppressing the transparency.
  5. While I can understand a desire to keep the opacity to indicate when stealth is in effect, device blasters can't choose to run without it without giving up their recovery power. Can we get the option of having the recovery aspect of field operative without the stealth?
  6. Some QoL improvements... 1. Could pet powers become toggles that while active re-summon lost pets? Give it a nasty endurance cost, but the act of re-summoning is bothersome. If there is a "downtime" of thirty seconds to a minute this keeps the sting in losing pets during combat. 2. Can the two pet buffs become toggles that constantly re-apply their effect? Re-applying the buffs to re-summoned pets is annoying. I don't even think that this is a huge balance issue, just something to make playing as a mastermind less tedious.
  7. I love playing device blasters but Field Operative means that I can't see my costume on the character. Ever... Please can we get an option to disable this opacity like the dark armor stealth power gets? I would like to be able to see my blaster's costume without disabling his recovery power.
