  1. Nope you cant transfer the SG you have to start over what will happen is the SG Lead will go to the next rank down if its a 1 man band it will get deleted.

    I had a Stj/WP brute on live lots of fun and Im currently building out another I have a build but its still a WIP basically you want boxing,tough,weave, Combat jumping and hasten I picked Fly as my travel power but thats personaly preference I'm taking the ghost widow power pool that has gloom soul mastery think it was called but other than that the rest straight forward you take almost everything fro Street Justice and wp 2 slots in stamina and 3 in quickrecovery for endurance is the important ones.
  3. Nope. This was all done in the retail version to get players to play longer and to, supposedly, lower graphic impact. All these years later, no retail, not nearly as many toasters. Why restrict your creativity in some quest to 'go home' and make things 'like they always were'? Makes no sense to me. Progeression is powers and enhancements, etc., not style, unless you choose to do that for your character, IMO. Were did you get that information from? when COH launched we was a paying a monthly subscription fee if we played for 1 or 100 hours it did not matter to NCSoft they had our money... the cape was a reward for completing a quest chain and aura quests too this was also fun... Handing you everything when you login is boring you get people moaning that there is not things to collect in game...COH was released in a time when people were happy to play a game and unlock things as they went... these days people expect everything to be handed to them and its boring... it had nothing to do with stretching out play time...
  4. So with the server move happening tomorrow and the new/old EU server happening I was curious as to the numbers of the population based on location so hence this poll if your outside of the US/EU vote for what server/s you will be playing on.

  6. Speaking of rehashing the same old things over and over... Now I'm sure we can figure out a way for ED to factor into this and get the trifecta. Removing ED would make the need for expensive IO sets less of a requirement at endgame and more of a perk/bragging rights and the cost of those enhancements would not be sky high due to not being a requirement for endgame builds and making AE Farms for Inf a thing of the past (trifecta!)
  7. If the auction house prices were not so out of balance with the inf gains from regular content then AE would be used for what it was designed for... But when a single enhancement can cost over 50mil (stupid prices....) which is what 15+ hours of playing regular content you cannot blame people for picking the fastest way to grind for inf... increasing inf gains from regular content or reducing merit costs/seeding rarer IO sets at fixed prices etc can go along way to balancing things out and removing the want for AE farms people have. Using AE for power leveling alts is also something that can be solved by doubling the XP gains from all content once you get at least 1 character to 50 and then offering XP boosters that have penalty's to inf gains if you want to level even quicker.

I like to have more defense in my builds this is what Im working towards its not perfect as its a mix and match of old builds but Im trying to make a PVE build that will be good for most content so its expensive and require ageless to work you can take consume before then to help out.   9. ALL the servers are currently in the EU Torch, Indom, Everlasting etc will be moving to Canada soon* and this server Halcyon will be moving to Germany.

The XP boosts were in the game back in the live days SCORE added them to the P2W vendor with an inf cost they are simply removing that cost, its a little harder to create something new and why bother to reinvent the wheel? they stack up to 8 hours no big deal having to visit a vendor once every 8 hours. The inf version is something I would not want to see... it would make an auction house pointless... and destroy the game economy.... they might as well make every free if they add inf boosts.
  11. I've run up probably half dozen characters so far into the 20's or close to it and by level 22 I've always gotten at least one rare salvage drop (usually 2 or 3). Simple sell at the auction house for close to a million inf each. Easily covers the cost of SO's at level 22 and/or to start dipping into standard IO's instead. Maybe running at a full +100% exp rate you'll get unlucky and not get a rare drop by 22? Might happen, but would be unusual from what I've experienced. I've gotten 1 up to 50 2 in the 40s and a bunch in the 20s and never had an issue outfitting them but then again I rarely outfit my toons with the current XP rates until you hit level 40 you really dont need to worry about it at all... 40-50 is the slow slog and outfitting out that point feels ok before 40 you level so fast its just a waste of inf.... Im now in the process of level what will be my main toon and I went round selling all the junk on my alts and hit over 80mil inf which is enough to buy my main some IO's that level with you the sets you normally get for merits or inf on the market. My seggestion is dont worry about enhancements if your one of these people who buy new ones every 10 levels then your wasting your time...

P2W Vendor is in most zones look for the $ its called P2W there is one in each starting zone the vendor has a bunch of free powers and stuff that costs inf, its basically all the veteran/pay 2 win stuff that used to be sold in NCSoft cash shop the name is a little joke nothing costs real world currency.

I sort of see your point but these XP buffs are currently in game now they cost inf I tested the 10mil boost for an hour and running that and AE with the current rates is about the same XP rate as pre-nerf but you get ZERO inf as a penalty I see this is a fair trade as this prevents the market from getting completely ruined due to inf farms as the server wide rate changes effect the inf gains.
  17. Make a blaster..... Honestly blasters have high HP and semi decent defense their secondary's offer a lot of extra DPS and utility a Sentinel is just half baked... its a jack of no trades.. its random debuff/buff mechanic hardly ever comes into play as things die too quick so apart from tanky foes 90% of the time a Sentinel is just a subpar blaster.... They need to be re-done/re-balanced badly its a good concept.

Now its I want to play an online social based game but all by myself unless I need something from you.... I blame games catering too much to the solo players its destroyed the soul of what an online game is meant to be... If someone comes along and helps you deal with it... Its not frowned upon.... That person is playing the game in a social way they are not out to steal kills blablabla

Im in the UK too have zero connection issues or stuttering on the current servers being as they are based in the EU.... if your getting stuttering now I would look at your connection/computer but yeah moving to Canada is bad for us.... every game that I have tried playing that has had its server in Canada has been a bad experience not sure why....
  20. ahh thats sucks for me UK here...hopefully its not too bad... SWG EMU which uses the same host is terrible for me tho hopefully thats just their server.....But hey if all else fails Im sure an EU server will pop up if its bad.

So Sentinel was SCORE's attempt at adding a new class/powersets to the game and the idea of a random RNG debuff/buff is cool but in actual gameplay is well meh... things die to fast for it to proc making it a subpar blaster. My suggestion is to change the debuff/buff skill have it so proc's on the first hit and make it so you cannot proc again for another 25 seconds on the same target that is already effected to stop this power being OP just make it like a dice roll add a bunch of debuffs/buffs and mix in some bad rolls that make it so the NPC cannot be effected by the dice roll skill for 40 seconds. Example of Roll the dice 1 of the following can happen every 25 seconds on the same target (debuff lasts 10 seconds): -def, -res, -regen, bad roll immunity, -acc, -dmg, bad roll immunity I think a change like this to the opportunity power would make Sentinel's more viable in all gameplay.

Not a fan of login rewards or daily's if your only logging in for rewards or to do a chore list then the game has a problem lack of content, boring gameplay or lack of diversity are the big offenders.... any game dev spending time on making incentives to get people to login should be spending time making engaging content instead.... Most games that have these things are just preying on the fear of missing out psychology sales tactics get them logging in shuv microtransaction in their face and limited time deals.
